Right same here , Now in our generation Music is majority about sex , drugs , n money . N next to that we got social problems like Donald trump n shit .
The 90s will always be my favorite decade in terms of music. Grunge in Seattle; Nas, Mase, Big Pun, Notorious B.I.G., C-N-N, Mob Deep, Wu-Tang all from NY; Emergence of Nu-Metal in the late 90s; even 90s R&B was unstoppable.
It sucks that I didn't witness and experience this beautiful era. I feel as if i was born in the wrong time zone. Instead of 1994, I wish i was born in the 80s. The 90s looked so FUN and full of LIFE. From MUSIC to TV to FASHION. I like how female artists didn't get half naked in music videos to get views and recognition. I don't feel a connection with this new generation of music at ALL. TLC was REAL and true role models that girls can look up to. RIP LEFT EYE!
Right, Left Eye was so Special I can feel her spirit world through this song and she didn't even have to say a Rap. Any REAL person can FEEL her Divine beautiful energy through this Song. I'm so Blessed to have known special people like her you don't find people like her anymore. The 90s & Early 2000s was the Golden/Silver Age when the Realms were touched by the Heavens(God) when ^Atlantis was here and when Music Videos had LIFE and COLOR and SOUL to them. Life felt like you were in another Dimension back then like Heaven on Earth. Good Music was EVERYWHERE and Streets were always full of LIFE and PEOPLE. The Economy was good, relationships were real, friends were real, no one hung out on social media websites. People were more Real and Down to Earth. Everything felt like it had a Magic touch to it and it seemed like the Sun always Shined. Now we live in the Dark Age aka Last Days full of False Prophets. Life isn't what it use to be anymore. Music is the Rhythm and Circle Rotation of Life(Eternal Life) and the way we praise God in Heaven. The way people praise God in Church is False and is a man made concept. You praise God with your Life not by clapping your hands and singing a long to Church sing a long songs. The Golden/Silver Age is the REAL deal. The Golden/Silver Age represents TIME-LESS Music. TIME-LESS Music represents Eternal Life!
One of the best... absolutely! One could argue Diana Ross and The Supremes as the best. I would say each the best of their generation, but I refuse to call either the "best".
Watching TLC videos makes me so sad. Sad because it reminds me sooooo much of how amazing the 90s were. I mean, it's bittersweet. I'm glad I'm an 80s baby so I could really appreciate the 90s. But, now, it's so bitter because I long to travel back in time for these better days. I don't think anyone born before the 90s, can ever truly explain to today's generation how positively different times were back then. Just the way of life, fashion, television, music, everything just seemed about 100x better than today. The 90s was just really fun but really smooth + cool. And to be a kid in the 90s... OMG! It was like the world catered to us! Every other commercial was about a new toy or some cartoon. Every other show was actually a cartoon it seems lol. There were so many good music artists, that many of the good one's flopped hard because it was such a cut throat industry, due to all of the talent. I still have the little red lyric booklet that came with the TLC "CrazySexyCool" album cassette tape! How many people even know what a "cassette" is lol? I remember how popular this song and TLC, in general, were around this time. Everyone was walking around school with the lyric booklets, singing the songs and having music battles on the playground. Things were just sooo much better back in the 90s. It's like we're in another world, in another place in time now. And, sadly, it's not a better world. I hold on to the hope that we'll experience another time like the 90s, but it's highly unlikely. Thank goodness for technology of video so I, and many others, can relive or experience the past. I love TLC. The first CD I ever owned was a TLC album. Cherishing the memories!
That's because that was the Golden Age era. The 90s & Early 2000s was the Golden/Silver age. It's no coincidence all the music videos from that era have so much LIFE and COLOR and SOUL in them. Life felt like you were in another Dimension back then like Heaven on Earth. That's when the Realms were touched by the Heavens(God). Now we live in the Dark Age aka Last Days. I know how you feel but let's look at the Bigger picture. We will experience these days again, it's called ETERNAL LIFE. Let's be glad we have UA-cam now and we can Time Travel like you said and bring those memories back. While sharing the same experiences with other people who remember the Golden Age days. We were so spoiled and didn't know what we had, but when these days return we will KNOW what we have and we will be able to Appreciate it even more! You know what I mean? ETERNAL LIFE! Sometimes I look back like "Where the hell am I?" this world sucks now and is full of fake robotic people who just wanna "Turn Up" and follow society and be lost like everyone else. I would of NEVER thought I would see the world like it is today back then. It's almost like the 90s was a Dream and I woke up and now I'm living in this damn Night Mare. It's like it was TOO GOOD to be TRUE. The 90s had so many Real and Special people around now you can't even find one, crazy! It seemed like the Sun always shined those days. Life had a better VIBE to it, the air seemed PURE and FRESH. People knew how to LIVE back then. Friends and Family came together. Kids always played outside, the Economy was Good. Relationships were Real. No one hung out on Social Network sites. People were more Down to Earth back then. And it had nothing to do with being a kid either, we just happened to be kids during this Blessed millennium whether we were kids, teenagers, adults we would STILL miss the Golden/Silver age era. We are in the Dark Age aka Last Days now. This illuminati Devil Reign era might seem like it's never gonna end, but it is. Every Beginning has an Ending. Remember, ETERNAL LIFE. When we get there it's gonna be WORTH IT! By the way, I'm a 90s baby. I don't think being a 80s baby or 90s baby determines how well you can explain to Today's Generation how positively different times were back then. I mean if you look at my UA-cam/Google+ page you can CLEARLY see that lol. It all comes down to who you ARE as a PERSON and what you REMEMBER. One things for sure, these days are definitely missed. But like I said, it's all good you know why? ETERNAL LIFE!
Please. The 90s pretty much still existed into the 2000s, so even people that were born in the mid-late 90s experienced the 90s (in the department of the style of it) fully. I bet there were Teens/YA's in the 90s that hated it too, it's always like that. And maybe we will get to the epicness of the 90s again.
+Justin Rosos This is the kind of band who would be lyrically beating the shit out of all the supposed R&B/Rap/Hip Hop competition in this day and age - if Left Eye hadn't died so young. :( (RIP - Left Eye!) Now, T-Boz and Chilli are just sell outs (still haven't forgiven them for that reality show where they were auditioning for a replacement for Left Eye - you can't replace perfection! Then there's that crowdfunding thing where they had the fans finance their new album - and were late with the release; and gave attitude when fans complained).
if you watched the show or paid attention to any of the interviews you would know that they were letting a fan audition for a chance to record a song with TLC they're not sell outs they never sold out

Everytime I see Left-Eye, I think Tupac... They would have made a great couple... same energy... both super intelligent.. would have been the first version of Will and Jada.
No implants ... just natural beauty, confidence and tenacity... why have we diverted away from this ? 90s=I saw diversity in beauty 2019= Kardashian wanna be’s ... all the plastic surgery has made us no longer unique
***** why was it necessary for you to state "and she's half Indian" . We all know the original Indians are the so-called African Americans. and another thing why is it necessary for you to add "Asian rocks too". Are you that insecure about my comment "black women rocks" ?. There's nothing Asian about Chilli and her persona. Gtfoh
Khaliah YOU obviously haven't done no research what's so ever. The term African American was coined by Jesse Jackson in 1988. What were the so called blacks call before that? Our race name change over the years idiot and there is no claim of Chili stating she's asian. Her mother is black and her father idiot with native American GENETICS of course
I remember dudes hatin' on this song when it came out. They were cool with songs about men having multiple women, but they just couldn't handle a group of women singing about cheating. Double standard.
I saw a documentary that said left eye refused to even lip sync bc she disagreed with this song's message, I always wondered why she was just dancing. I love tlc so much. This song bumps too lol
She didn’t agree with it and didn’t want Andre Rison to think that is what she was doing. That’s what Dallas Austin said because he wanted her to rap on it but she wouldn’t do it. She did do a rap about safe sex on the remix. She is the best member of TLC and also the best female rapper of all time (in my opinion).
I am 42 years old and can say with the utmost confidence that I will be lovin' this song and many like it well into my golden years! It just never gets old
It was and IS a part of mine too- through my daughter's teenage years. She kept me updated to 90s music, she+her friends would borrow my Pink Floyd-Dark Side of the Moon and my Marvin Gaye. Both of us blasted our stereo, at the same time. We had a home FULL of music. Even my granddaughter -at 4, would have me play this.☺️ It's a Family Affair!
The 90s really did a good job of capturing all styles of music. Take this song for instance, hip hop, R&B, and jazz are all made part of it. That's that 90s sexy you're talking about.
TLC are better than any of today’s pop or R&B singers in this generation. Along with many other 80s/90s R&B singers. No one can match their swag and coolness.
I miss the 90s Soo much ..I miss everything about the 90s. I was in highschool n I remember Salt n pepper were my absolute favorite group. I love their moves their cloths their hair just everything. The 90s were it!! The Best and Nothing no Nothing was Ever better!!! 🤗💖💖💖💞💞💞💞💞💞

You praise God with your Life not by clapping your hands and singing a long to Church sing a long songs. The Golden/Silver Age is the REAL deal. The Golden/Silver Age represents TIME-LESS Music. TIME-LESS Music represents Eternal Life!
SoulKidVids well said and so true!
One of my favorite videos of all time
TLC is the best female group in history!!!
Agreed
They are also the best selling in America
Izaan ur rehman it does now stfu hater.
One of the best... absolutely! One could argue Diana Ross and The Supremes as the best. I would say each the best of their generation, but I refuse to call either the "best".
Hanson
#LeftEye Could Sing, Rap, Dance, Act, Sew, Play Piano/Clarinet, Draw, Paint, Sign Language, Etc ... 👌🏿💯
William Duhart Nelson couldnt drive tho
She Had A Drivers License; So The State Thought So.
She played drums too.. I thought I saw her in a concert video playing drums... super talented
@treacherous_78 · lol
And could speak Spanish
A+ FOR EVERYONE
***** Not understanding this rant at all.
Khemistry Yeah, the feeling is definitely mutual.
RIP Left Eye
Prince said they were his favorite group. You just know he LOVED this song.
This song/video alone MURDERS any new "RnB". The 90's set a bar so high!!
+Luke MF-Knocks if you think this does the job, u should watch any video from their first album
+Justin Rosos This is the kind of band who would be lyrically beating the shit out of all the supposed R&B/Rap/Hip Hop competition in this day and age - if Left Eye hadn't died so young. :( (RIP - Left Eye!)
Now, T-Boz and Chilli are just sell outs (still haven't forgiven them for that reality show where they were auditioning for a replacement for Left Eye - you can't replace perfection!

Agreed. I created a remix to their no scrubs just last week. Check it out!
Creep reminds me of 1994, when I was in 5th grade.
She absolutely is. The opening scene alone of the video with her solidifies her Goddess status!

LISTENING DECEMBER 2024
Everytime I see Left-Eye, I think Tupac... They would have made a great couple... same energy... both super intelligent.. would have been the first version of Will and Jada.
They were very close and were good friends. There are tons of interviews with Lisa before she died talking about how similar she and Tupac were
Yeah... They dated as well...
If he ditched his music career and went full-time with acting, he'd still be alive today. He had the chops too.
Thembelani Ngesman exactly, the real jay and beyonce
Ashlee Michaels 2 unpredictable Gemini's together, that woulda been exciting to see for sure!
Cant believe that we are calling this " old school " , cause it is still so fresh in my memory . By the way RIP Left Eye 🖤 Rest in peace .
This was one of those songs I sung when I was young and had no clue what they were talking about .. lol .. LOVE IT!
I was a senior in High School when this came out, damn it's true, good music never dies, it only gets better

Michael Jackson is 100 times better. They are okay.
+Lawayne Gibson nobody mentioned mj you can't even compare tlc to mj they are totally different
Lawayne Gibson Yeah but they didn't take the Illuminati oath like Michael did which killed him.
I’m so sorry left eye, we love you ❤️

No implants ... just natural beauty, confidence and tenacity... why have we diverted away from this ? 90s=I saw diversity in beauty 2019= Kardashian wanna be’s ... all the plastic surgery has made us no longer unique
Amen, somebody else notice this! Good comment, thanks!

💯💯💯
true! you just had to be lightskin and have eurocentric features 🥰
Things were so different but better in the 90s/early 2000s!!

Erica Listokin and don't forget the rhythmic guitar riff
Erica Listokin every instrument in the beat lol
Black women Rocks 😍😍😍😍
You know it.
+UluvmyCHEEKS Blaze but not u fake bitch
***** why was it necessary for you to state "and she's half Indian" . We all know the original Indians are the so-called African Americans. and another thing why is it necessary for you to add "Asian rocks too". Are you that insecure about my comment "black women rocks" ?. There's nothing Asian about Chilli and her persona. Gtfoh
You only live once I think the other persons comment was unnecessary too but chilli is still half Asian.. don't erase her identity like that that.
90s Music really ages like fine Wine
LegendMariah It really do. I miss the 90s

Vel Boone Pebbles is a great business woman and producer.
Vel Boone
Damn that's how u feel?
Vel Boone who was pebbles???
Thomas DJ TJ Poche SR. she was they former manager...
Vel Boone she cut them out of so much money
I remember dudes hatin' on this song when it came out. They were cool with songs about men having multiple women, but they just couldn't handle a group of women singing about cheating. Double standard.
4u2cre8 I remember the reaction men had to No Scrubs.
Carolina Rivera did you like the reaction women had with no pigeons?
No pigeons? What's that? 😂😂😂
FACTS 👏🏾👏🏾
LMFAO!!
Brings back some of the best memories of my life. EST* 1994
I saw a documentary that said left eye refused to even lip sync bc she disagreed with this song's message, I always wondered why she was just dancing. I love tlc so much. This song bumps too lol
that is what talent does to ruin it. the other 2 wanted to make music. make money.
Because that beat bumps
I’m glad she danced.. it added variety 😭
I love this song but don't agree with the msg either 😂
She didn’t agree with it and didn’t want Andre Rison to think that is what she was doing. That’s what Dallas Austin said because he wanted her to rap on it but she wouldn’t do it. She did do a rap about safe sex on the remix. She is the best member of TLC and also the best female rapper of all time (in my opinion).
I'm 65 years and still dancing to this song.
Your a legend
Get it guuuurl ❤
👍
You know what is music 💃💃💃👌🏾
Well, I'm 60, I try to dance to anything 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
I am 42 years old and can say with the utmost confidence that I will be lovin' this song and many like it well into my golden years! It just never gets old
Same here 42..still lovin' it

How did we get so old?

Tboz was gorgeous....in fact they all were.
Yup
It's such a shame that we don't get music like this anymore.
We do. It's just like every other song about cheating on your significant other. 🤦
Yeah it’s a GREAT song but it’s toxic af we got plenty of those
we literally do
This one is still the best tho
listen to the song sunshine by steve lacy featuring foushee you're welcome

+Ash That's so damn true!😂
TLC was such a big part of my childhood/early teen years in the 90's.
mines to all day
Me too.. I love them... I
It was and IS a part of mine too- through my daughter's teenage years.
Now, last time.. Know What Bxtch.. It goes to show.
Apart of mh life
This song is sexy in the 90s way. I don't quite know how to explain it, but people who lived through the 90s know. 😁
I know exactly what you're talking about
+Solomon Dow I wasn't even born when this came out and I know
Yeah I miss being a teenager in the 90's.
+Solomon Dow Exactly! Well said.
The 90s really did a good job of capturing all styles of music. Take this song for instance, hip hop, R&B, and jazz are all made part of it. That's that 90s sexy you're talking about.
brilliant song even in 2024
TLC are better than any of today’s pop or R&B singers in this generation. Along with many other 80s/90s R&B singers. No one can match their swag and coolness.
Back when being a Tom boy was super cool 😎
Yesss!!! 💗
ahh, those were the days...and now they all dress like hookers...lol. :(
Angela Taylor welp you are WRONG my big cousin is a tomboy
Angela Taylor except for billie eilish, i love her style
Latasha Moody right if u act or look like a Tom boy ur under the category as “gay”
Ah! The only girl group a teenage boy could listen to without being called gay back in the 90s.
I know right!!!!
SWV homie
Fucking truth, bro!
I'm 39 now. Was 13 when the album came out. Shit, EVERYONE was listening to this shit back then, males and females alike.
Facts!!!

My dad took my cd away from me because of this song but I had three extra copies in my mattress, that was way back when I was a freshmen in high school. Damn I'm old!
Welcome to the club, im 39 and have friends who have grand kids. I miss my 90s and i dont feel that old hahaha. I love my girls " TLC " Loved them sence i was 13 and still.
Rashad Mitchell that's tight doe. I was hiding cd's too. 😂
