@@BJGpixel You inspired me to use the Syncingers (Super Sentai fanmade team) as Pixel Art Heroes thanks to Super Famicom Control Team Edit: Glad I have found my comment
Maan these are so nice. Why are things so satisfying to look at in pixels, I mean if you just painted these with regular brushes it wouldn't be impressive, but because it's pixels it's just so nice
Looking forward to more of these. Picturing the N64 control team with the C buttons as a group of 4 mini characters :) Did you ever see the Sega Girls? Those were pretty clever how they incorporated design from each console.
I came through the instagran and found it amazing, the way he elaborates and executes his art is amazing !!! I just wish I had the automatic speech translator for Portuguese because I don't know the North American language so much. But still I can understand with your pixel art !!!!
Wow thank you for watching! I went into the settings for my uploads and set the language, so I hope that helps with the automatic translation. Looks like it worked for me but I couldn't tell if the Portuguese was correct!
Omg I can just imagine a Saturday morning cartoon of this, where the opening is like a split-shot of all their belts blinking at the same time and panning up to their faces w determined expressions, each putting on their helmets and getting their gear as the lyrics in the song are talking about their individual powers
To be fair, success in that time had a really high luck factor, even more than today, a cool game could have sold like shit and worse games sold like gold
I'm just binging your vids and I'm slowly falling in love with the style of your commentary like "It also gives you an opportunity to sneak more color into the sprite". It's the little quirky ways of describing something in a way that fits so perfectly with the general vibe you have, not to mention the amazing production quality and really cool sprite ideas. It's a cliche at this point but I really think this channel is going to blow up. I didn't even consider making pixel art for the sake of it before, but here I am, trying to incorporate all the advice I hear in your vids. You really get a point across when you mention all of these methods you're using in every new time-lapse. Have you considered something like a review/rating/help videos about some sprites your viewrs make? Anyway, this comment ended up being a tad long, cheers!
Hey thank you so much, I'm glad to hear! Yes I'm considering doing a sort of critique thing, but just waiting for the right moment to announce it for when I'll have time to review them 😅Thanks for watching!
I really like this. cool designs! I keep thinking that it would be neat to do a Ben Ten/Megaman kind of thing with the belt and have one hero that can change into the other versions to handle alternate situations. Whatever color is on top of the belt buckle is the suit he wears at the time.
I stopped the video right now to post this commentary... I didn`t saw the final part of the video and I'm curious. Your job is amazing. Congratz! I'll go back to video to see how the rangers was finished haha!
Dude, I could just imagine if this came out on the SNES/Super Famicon. And to play the game you would switch between all of the troopers using their assigned button and having to do things like wiggle the activation cord to grapple or use the Start and Menu options to send out all four troopers at once to combine there powers
Wow this was so cool and inspiring! The idea was fun and the execution man.. You nailed every single thing. I want so badly to play a platformer/puzzle game with the Control Team now.
I did wonder why I had a SNES but with the coloured buttons as a kid (UK resident so that explains it). Best of both in my opinion, I do like the coloured buttons and the particular shade of grey more than the NA version.
Wow. Really professional. For us learning, is extremely well received every time you describe your reasoning. Definitely I'm gonna remember this video forever
Great knowledge and application of it, flawless technique and cool notion and sense of color use. And over all that masterfull teaching skills. Keep it playing loud! Kudos!
Haha oh whaat I have that game (for the SFC!) and never put that together before! To be fair though, the "red" car is straight up hot pink lol Thanks! :D
I just found your channel and watched a few videos. I bet my gf that your Canadian. From how you said process in one video and then I saw how you spelled favorite in this video's description so I win... nothing. Woo-hoo! Love your content btw! Lol
SNES Controller Power Rangers? I Love It! Especially the Pixel Artwork! If there’s a real version of the suits based on the artwork That would be cool Especially if they could be a comic book design of it! Or even a video game of it How do you that on which program?
Wouldn't it be cool if you named each character after their button (X, A, B and Y)? That way their design would be inspired from that button, but it would also be their initials :)
If you ever revisit this concept it'd be cool to give them a zord. Or add in special ranger like later seasons of sentai do. Maybe base them of a SNES add ons like the super scope or power glove.
Lol.. I just saw the rest of your video where you said it! (my prior message; In Spain (at least as far as I know.. I guess Europe?), the controller had the same look as the Famicom with colored buttons, but called Super Nintendo, like the US one.) ;)
The moment he said that trooper Y had the dpad I pictured trooper Y throwing the dpad in the air and a beam coming from the middle aiming at an enemy. My brain is weird.
Your pixel art tutorials are amazing. I've been looking into doing sprites of my _Lion King_ OCs Armie and Rat. By the way, _Super Sentai_ serves as the basis for _Power Rangers_ ( _Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger_ , the sixteenth _Super Sentai_ series, is the basis for _Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers_ ).
Fun fact! In New Super Mario Bros. Wii, the order of the characters on the disk are the order of the colors on the Super Famicom controller! Blue Toad, Mario, Yellow Toad, Luigi!
They look great! But... "Run/jump" should have gone with D-Pad - since you always run and jump in a certain direction. "Attack" should have gone with cord, which obviously looks like a whip (Castlevania!) "Special" should have gone with L/R (special items in Mario Kart, also it's the special buttons the NES didn't have) I only agreed with select/start for "Menu" 😂
Brandon: Sees anything
Brandon: Now that could be a pixel art character.
Theres a word for that. Its “inspiration”.

I felt the same whiplash hearing that you did this on a track pad that I do hearing about my friend drawing on his phone with his finger. Wow
That was amazing. I love your breakdowns and the reasoning behind every choice you make. Keep making these awesome videos PLEASE!
Thanks for the encouragement, glad you like em! Got more vids coming for sure! :D

I'm just starting in pixel art and man, what an inspiration! Your videos are awesome! Looking forward to seeing more videos! 😉
Hey that's great, thank you, and best of luck with your pixel art journey! :D
@@BJGpixel I will join too
Yes, you found a good channel, but also try pixel overload, its very good channel too! I hope I helped you
This game idea could have sold the Famicom system. Only second to Mario.
To be fair, success in that time had a really high luck factor, even more than today, a cool game could have sold like shit and worse games sold like gold

If there would be a cartoon called “Control Team” and they would be the main heroes... I would totally watch it!
As soon as you said that green’s theme was “special” my mind immediately shifted to lego ninjago
This was awesome! Loved hearing your thought process with the timelapses. Looking forward to seeing more videos!
Mate! this is the pixel channel ive been waiting for! Followed you on instagram for ages! its great to see the method behind the pixels ha
I love the intro! There's something about "I'll roll the credits and meet you at the desk," that's really fun.
Man that’s great! Lots of good ideas! Love the way you edit your video and how you present your process! Looking forward for the next video!

With the grey color palette the first Trooper looks like Newground's guy!! Nice job, too.
Really Like the designs! Good job! You've earned a subscriber ;)

I kinda imagined the y would float on the d pad that he could just control and make it float everywhere
That one puzzle in Secret of Mana couldve been a whole lot easier if they left those button colors alone
Wow this was so cool and inspiring! The idea was fun and the execution man.. You nailed every single thing. I want so badly to play a platformer/puzzle game with the Control Team now.
This guy deserves more subscribers! He is so good at pixel art.
Your videoer are awesome! Can´t wait to see more from you 😃
For X, I would have, personality, used the Start button as a button on the glove to either be the communicator or the interface

Famicon Blue!
Famicon Red!
Famicon Yellow!
Famicon Green!
Ninentendo Sentai Famicomger!
Awesome video!
Love your creative ideas!
The first F zero on the super Nintendo use the four colors of the button to make all fours racers ; ) . From racers to fighter! Great idea!
Haha oh whaat I have that game (for the SFC!) and never put that together before! To be fair though, the "red" car is straight up hot pink lol Thanks! :D
Wait.... Right and Left TRIGGERS... he could’ve used dual laser pistols! Either way, great video!
If you ever come back to this, it would be cool to design a mech for each character that combines like the Megazord or Voltron.
Love these designs! Great job!
I could see that Trooper A have the board that could be compatible with the tonfas as a reference with the controller itself.
it would have been super cool if their visors were each based on the button they represented. Like X's visor being an X, etc.

I would make a famicom style game with those characters but i totally suck at pixelart and making games :(.
I suck making games but I'm a bit good at pixel art with the best online option for pixel art, Piskel
Sorry dude... but try to rip (copy) them.
Beautiful, love it.
Please do more videos on how you are inspired, and draw your small building images
your videos make me want to try out pixel art!
I really love the way you design your stick figures to start your pieces? How exactly do you go about creating them?
I love that B's goggles are upside down. (Not a joke, I think it's funny and nice in a sort of playful/childish way

2:24 green ranger and pink ranger
imagine this squad fighting against all the badies and heros of old Famicon Games.
I also made the killer bean janitor jammin in his headphones with shading and stuff
This is amazing.
He lost the opportunity to make the villans of the story... the obscure super nintendo controller team
I think it would be nice to have a magic in the d-pad format behind trooper y
the trooper a could use game cartridges as throwing stars
10/10 would unironically play this as a platformer/beat'em up with a few puzzle elements.
What if the poses corresponded to each letter
Your pixel art tutorials are amazing. I've been looking into doing sprites of my _Lion King_ OCs Armie and Rat.

You lose the oportunity to name the team, control patrol
the one dislike is from ttheir enemy, Sega!!
Mainly Segata Sanshiro.
Fun fact! In New Super Mario Bros. Wii, the order of the characters on the disk are the order of the colors on the Super Famicom controller! Blue Toad, Mario, Yellow Toad, Luigi!
Cool, i like this pixel art 🤩😃👍🎉
The SNES and The SFC are only region locked by a little plastic piece in the cartridge slot so i would not really matter which one you get
This was soooo cool.
I think trooper Y could have 4 different spells witch he can mix or combo together
art is awesome
i found funny that "B trooper" is left handed XD
3:20 what size you used for the pixel art?
That pixel art version of the controller is 57x25 px
@@BJGpixel and for the full screen size?
@@King_O_Light 320x180 (16:9 ratio). And the pixel controller itself is enlarged (3x I think) to fill that space

AKA Control Sentai Famiconger
My Team:
Synceritus Sentai Syncinger
Also, one Super Sentai series had an SNES/Super Famicom game already
I wish this was a tv show
very cool idea
and very well made
It is unfair to the rest of UA-cam to have something this high quality on its platform
I think the cape makes Trooper Y look more like the leader than Trooper X is.
Try to look at Vibrant Venture!
this video is great
Super cool
The yellow one is my favorite
This is genius!
I would totally play this game
someone make this into a movie
I just now realized that Toby fox stole the super famicom button pallete.
I like green and the y button.
My favourite trooper is trooper Y...
Idk how this is all going according to plan...
So, you've chosen death, mortal?
Edit: I hate green. I say blue is better, the Trooper X is my favorite one. (Sorry if I offended you)
Would you consider a viewtiful joe character
I really really really love Super Sentai!
God... no likes?
