You did not mention the Power consumption during Rest Mode or Instant On Mode... Could you tell me? Thx

But Daniel, more power does not mean that Wolfenstein is not optimized. It could be mean on the contrary - it may utilize more heavier workload in short amount amount of time. Game optimization metric based on consumed power is inconclusive.

I'm basing this off of Digital Foundry's analysis. Framerates are horribly inconsistent, and tricks are necessary to even remotely smooth it out. I think my power consumption test backs that up, not the other way around.

Can you please test watching UA-cam on the One X? I’d like to save money on my bill and just wondering how much the X draws when watching content because we do watch a lot of UA-cam here.

My nephew has been on Fortnite all day. Apart from the electricity cost, the watts are converted to heat and that heat stays in his room and means his room is too warm compared to the rest of the house ( South Florida ). Just put in a new thermostat that kicks in periodically to recirculate air in the house and hopefully balance out temperatures. 190 watts seems like too much heat in this day and age. Not a problem if you live somewhere cold of course.

So how much dose it cost to run your xb1x for 5 hours?

Even if you were running something that is pulling a 1000 Watts for five hours, At around 12 cents per kilowatt hour which is usually the average, It would only be about 60 cents. At that rate an xbox one X would be mere pennies, at around 6 cents. So you could run 10 xbox one x's for 5 hours, And it would only cost you around 60 cents.

Also to put some things into perspective, A curig coffee machine pulls around 1400 to 1500 Watts, a hair dryer about 1800W, a hot water heater about 3000 to 4000W, sometimes more, Central heat about 10.000 to 20.000w Central AC 5000 to 8000W. A typical HD TV 50" or bigger around 300W. Add that with your xbox one x, and all the other gadgets in your house, vacuum cleaners, toasters, Dozens of different electronics constantly charging, cellphones and what not ect ect, And you'll begin to see how all those kilowatt hours ad up at the end of the month, and why a lot of people's electric bills are so high.

All Xbox One X consoles should have been made equal from the start. Kinda feels like Microsoft is taking advantage of its customers and making them participate in some kind of experiment that nobody even signed up for. Can you imagine how many consoles have already been sent back and serviced? Im sure that every known problem has been noted and they are just seeing how far they can go before people stop buying the Xbox One X console altogether. I already know that my next brand new Xbox One X purchase is going to fail just like the others. Im terrified to make that sacrifice. Don't want to throw away another $500...

you are probably being thermal throttled, try redoing it in a cooler room.

Wat. That doesn't mean what you think it means. Being thermal throttled means performance is throttled due to dangerous temperatures. I've never had game performance suffer or my console shutdown due to excessive temperatures.

Xbox One X and Xbox one Even Series X and S can’t thermal Throttle.
