As a PC Gamer I can definitely see the appeal of a gaming console. We all have to acknowledge that PC gaming isn't for everyone you do need a bit of technical know how, not every average Joe can just jump into PC gaming. It has definitely got any easier over the years and troubleshooting is still very real issue on PC. Consoles are plug and play... so having a console with the fidelity of a PC is definitely something to be excited about.
I can tell you pc is for everyone. You want plug and play? Have someone build it for you like my friend did. $50 commercially, and anywhere in between for local. No troubleshooting unless you really want to max out performance.

TX51 A game update, driver or system update can break consoles as well. You won't be worrying about running a game if you build a console cost PC, it will run the same games.

On pc, because we all have different configs its almost impossible to make a patch that doesn't conflict with something. look, I like PC gaming, I am a PC gamer but you just have to come to the realisation that PC gaming isn't for everyone, it isn't completely accessible because if it was people wouldn't buy a console.

I think MS should have clocked the CPU at 2.5 ghz, and the GPU at 1.25 GHZ. Not much of a GPU, but this would have given the CPU about a third more performance. CPU bound games like Hitman running in the 40s FPS unlocked could achieve 60 FPS.
Ehhhh... This was a really roundabout way of saying it's basically an RX 480 with more compute units but downclocked, and with some upgraded memory bandwidth. For all intents and purposes, it's pretty much an RX480 over clocked equivalent.. Or maybe stock 580? Eh, they're pretty close anyway.

it definitely uses a RX 480 chip... They either round the 5.8 Gflops to 6 for marketing or they OC the RX 480 because the RX 480 doesnt OC as good as nvidia or older AMD cards doesnt mean that it does not OC at all... going from 5.8 TF to 6 TG would need less than 5% OC of both memory and GPU clock... so yea... still better than the PS4 one though.
Do a feature on how more developers will go under and publishers will milk the same repetitive games over and over because cost of making games is sky rocketing on these consoles. Only reason PS4 has more exclusives than Xbox is because Sony is dishing out the money to pay for them and developers know most people are gonna play there game on PS4 since it's more powerful than the Xbox at the moment. When Xbox one X come though I'm sure developers are gonna want there games on Xbox as long as Xbox is willing to pay for the exclusive deals. I say give it till next summer I'm sure the exclusives for Xbox are gonna catch up to PS4's.

That's one game, and we're talking mainly 3rd party developers. No one knows what they'll do, every one has said the success of X, and use of power is dependent on developers. I'm not going by a well "maybe" it will play/and look better. And we've already seen what shitty ports they make...especially for PC. It's all about optimization, so if they mess it up for one console, the X's power won't make a difference. Unless they make the usual "patch". Which is why I won't spend a dime on a console like this one. The PRO was also unecessary imo as well. And unfortunately it's already happened with the Pro, where they don't make the game with/or for Pro having enhancements. So the performance on PS4 and Pro are exact. Yeah It be nice to have a speed demon CPU in the Xbox One X. But Microsoft is breaking even financially with every console sold. Long term thinking I believe Microsoft was thinking in terms of competing with the PS5 down the road. By the time the Sony PS5 comes out. The Xbox One X would of already had at least a price cut. We know Sony will make the PS5 a powerful beast to take down the Xbox One X. But price will be key and of course games available. Microsoft has between now and the time the PS5 comes out, games wise to level the playing field. Microsoft in my opinion finally did a good thing . In phasing out the original Xbox1, and making the Xbox One S their default console. Gamers will finally have their wish come true. Consoles now will be comparable to their computer counterparts games wise. I for one am happy with the Xbox One X. I will eventually buy a Sony PS5 God willing. Xbox one x gpu is not vega or ryzen but a garbage cpu sames as ps4pro and for gpu is an R9 390x with 12gbs running 1172mhz with a smaller bus 384bit instead of 512bit and the rops got reduced from 64 to just 32.. The reality is that the R9 390x is bearly more powerful than a Rx 480 but with the extra 4 gbs of ram.

AMD took the R9 290 from a 28nm to a 16 nm and put this into an Xbox, Get over the hype this is old tech on a newer die. No it is not a under clocked 580 it is an overclocked 290. Compute Units and shaders match and the process added 6 GB of bandwidth from 320 to 326. "The Most Powerful Console" = Less then normal PC.

The ps4 pro doesn’t have dual gpus… it’s the same thing as a normal ps4 just clocked higher as said by Sony themselves. Also, having dual cpus isn’t entirely meant for gaming, it’s more meant for workstations and servers.

PS4 can play Gran Tourismo so lets rule out Forza and GT Sea of Thieves, cuphead, and State of Decay does not have the fanbase that LOU/Uncharted/Horizon has, so XB1X isn't for you if you like exclusives. Cuphead is very easy to run so if you wanted to paly it you could just buy it on any pc.

it definitely uses a RX 480 chip... They either round the 5.8 Gflops to 6 for marketing or they OC the RX 480 because the RX 480 doesnt OC as good as nvidia or older AMD cards doesnt mean that it does not OC at all... going from 5.8 TF to 6 TG would need less than 5% OC of both memory and GPU clock... so yea... still better than the PS4 one though.

Do a feature on how more developers will go under and publishers will milk the same repetitive games over and over because cost of making games is sky rocketing on these consoles. I’m not a fan of realism although I know many are. But there’s lack of originality in the art of today’s games. Characters from COD could fit right into Forza 7. Fable’s characters couldn’t fit in any Forza game, nor could Zelda. Know what I mean? Everything just looks the same. I want diverse art styles.

Only reason PS4 has more exclusives than Xbox is because Sony is dishing out the money to pay for them and developers know most people are gonna play there game on PS4 since it's more powerful than the Xbox at the moment. When Xbox one X come though I'm sure developers are gonna want there games on Xbox as long as Xbox is willing to pay for the exclusive deals. I say give it till next summer I'm sure the exclusives for Xbox are gonna catch up to PS4's.

That's one game, and we're talking mainly 3rd party developers. No one knows what they'll do, every one has said the success of X, and use of power is dependent on developers. I'm not going by a well "maybe" it will play/and look better. And we've already seen what shitty ports they make...especially for PC. It's all about optimization, so if they mess it up for one console, the X's power won't make a difference. Unless they make the usual "patch". Which is why I won't spend a dime on a console like this one. The PRO was also unecessary imo as well. And unfortunately it's already happened with the Pro, where they don't make the game with/or for Pro having enhancements. So the performance on PS4 and Pro are exact. I think that's going to happen a lot here as well.

Yeah It be nice to have a speed demon CPU in the Xbox One X. But Microsoft is breaking even financially with every console sold. Long term thinking I believe Microsoft was thinking in terms of competing with the PS5 down the road. By the time the Sony PS5 comes out. The Xbox One X would of already had at least a price cut. We know Sony will make the PS5 a powerful beast to take down the Xbox One X. But price will be key and of course games available. Microsoft has between now and the time the PS5 comes out, games wise to level the playing field. Microsoft in my opinion finally did a good thing . In phasing out the original Xbox1, and making the Xbox One S their default console. Gamers will finally have their wish come true. Consoles now will be comparable to their computer counterparts games wise. I for one am happy with the Xbox One X. I will eventually buy a Sony PS5 God willing. If the price of the PS5 is reasonable and games make the system a must have.

If it doesn't work with it why should i care? Also the "get a new one" is never the answer specially when said hardware is still in perfect working order. The ps3 was smart they let you combo the dvi and standard out put so you could use the video and run the audio from the standard line.

Xbox one x gpu is not vega or ryzen but a garbage cpu sames as ps4pro and for gpu is an R9 390x with 12gbs running 1172mhz with a smaller bus 384bit instead of 512bit and the rops got reduced from 64 to just 32.. The reality is that the R9 390x is bearly more powerful than a Rx 480 but with the extra 4 gbs of ram.

AMD took the R9 290 from a 28nm to a 16 nm and put this into an Xbox, Get over the hype this is old tech on a newer die. No it is not a under clocked 580 it is an overclocked 290. Compute Units and shaders match and the process added 6 GB of bandwidth from 320 to 326.

No it doesn't. A high end GPU like the gtx 1080 is around $500 or less by the time the X1X releases.
Let's say someone had a 750ti that would get around the same performance as the base PS4/X1 4 years ago. That's $240 saved because of free online, and that's ignoring cheaper games. Let's say that their PC cost them... $100 more, that's $140+$500 worth of upgrades I could do to improve a PC that was already beating the original X1/Ps4. So we won't be needing a case, mouse and keyboard, OS, hard drive or powersupply. That leaves us with CPU, GPU and Memory, and possibly a motherboard upgrade. Yes, parts will fail, but if one part happens to fail on PC, you can replace that one part (of course those parts that are not covered by warranty). If an entire console fails out of warranty, well, what can you do? You cant replace a single part, you have to replace the entire thing. How much does that cost?
