Nr. 9 Don't use sprint all the time, know when to use it and when not to. This is hard to master if you're unexperienced with the maps and their flow. If you play this game long enough you'll eventually figure out how most people move, where to expect high trafic and where it's much more safer. If you are in the open like on Shoreline or Woods, it's most of the time your best choice but if you enter an area that is mor dense like Reserve, Streets or Interchange, chances are high that someone is siting in a corner and hearing you from a mile away.
On that note, my rule of thumb was to normally not sprint more than half of the bar. 1. If you sprint to exhaustion, you cannot sprint again for several seconds. 2. Not sure if the panting noise is audible to enemies, but it does make it difficult to hear.
My usual baseline philosophy I share with new player is sight vs sound. If theyll see you before they hear you, run, if theyll hear you before they see you, walk. Edit: Should also add to always keep half your stam bar unless its a major danger zone you need to get past like woods beach.
Your gut is called the enteric nervous system and is called the second brain for a reason. That gut feeling is a real message from your gut to your brain saying something is amiss.

Good and informative video. It is also perfect illustration of how hostile the game is toward new players. I have over 300 hours in the game over several wipes and I still do not know most of the maps, let alone knowing PMC spawn or quest players might be doing in an area.
Sptarkov can help with that I took a break in my second wipe played a bunch of sptarkov now I know all the maps like the back of my hand. Down to the point of flanking with 4hp and a dream n killing full squads
Your videos in general sam style are absolutely awesome especially this one I love so much how you discribe what you doing and why you doing it that way It fits my play style in most terms And in head I say "absolutely the way I was doing it no doubt" So keep on going I love this shit ♥️
The science behind the gut feeling is so simple but complex Because it takes two parts to make it The first is recognition of the environment, and the events that are about to transpire Or the memory of an event that Has happened and is threatening to happen again And the last part of that is sounds, and recognition that your brain might not pick up, but your subconscience does For example, you hear the sound of a reload but you don’t recognize it because there was gunfire or the position it’s at Your gut told you that it’s over by the extract So, instead of going in first, you start chucking grenades After the grenades explode you go in and you find a guy you check his magazine it’s a fresh magazine And you’ve killed your guy who reloaded If you can learn where your gut feeling tells you something you can do a lot Because it recognizes patterns events, the transpire actions that are done, and that you might not notice Hella gut feeling and even even tell you when a Bear is nearby Recognize the patterns see the results Also, since I’m a prick to any campers, I hope you get fragged
Solid advice, as a noob who started 2 months ago that don’t panic advice hits home. So many times, usually when I’ve had a bolt action, I’ve had to drop on a PMC running, who doesn’t know I’m there, and I rush my shot instead of waiting, and I die. And yes Emercom on Interchange has been camped about 50% of the time for me this swipe so I’ve written it off after dying half the time at that exfil. Thanks to StankRat probably
I am a interchange main, and have great success with hugging the left wall, you stay partially covered by the dark trees, you get a good overview of the open area and the bushes from the far right walls are not rendering/partial rendering so you easily spot movement, also there is a hidden stash too. I would say i get a 90-95% successrate of extracting through emercom, and prefer it to railway
Your videos, as always, are awesome! I would love to see a series that you review spawns on each map! The Lighthouse spawn portion was (head) eye(s) opening.
I totally agree with you. I played without injector case the first wipe they introduced it. After actually using it, I have started winning so many more fights. Until this wipe came around and I just keep getting one-tapped by people I don't even see lol. This wipe has been incredibly frustrating for me haha
As I am playing more solo than in the group, I found the huge advantage of repositioning. You are not able to move and reposition at all in group of 3 - 5 people. But as a solo man. You catch people looking in directions where you were 2mins ago guaranteeing you free kills. If you struggle to move, when your cover is blown by your shots and then you kinda get stuck or scared to move. Just bring bolt action without suppressor, that loud shot will force you to leave and reposition, if not, you are dead meat. You can take cheap mosin with PU scope its like 50k RUB, it helps so much.
The new cam looks good other than the blocky-ness it adds to your outline. Also it might be worth throwing a shade over you when your showing nighttime footage, its a bit hard to see what your talking about when there's a talking flashbang on half the screen. Otherwise Great looking!
The best way to play Streets of Tarkov is going into a building and sitting there until someone unfortunate enough comes across your building. I had a pretty good streak using this strategy
Tip number 4 can work insanely well if you know how to hide. In previous wipes I would wear all green most of the time to make it easy when I needed to hide. I'll never forget escaping a couple chads with this method. I was on Shoreline trying to do a quest at the resort. For some reason over half way through the raid these chads were still hanging out. I heard them inside when a scav gave away my position. They lit me up and I ran down the cliff. I could hear them hot on my tail and my only escape was through open ground so I dove into the biggest bush I could find. For about 7 minutes I heard them moving around and searching for until they lost interest. At several points they were close enough to see, but I never had the opportunity to make sure I could down both of them.
Overall bushdiving is EXTREMELY effective, as long as you don't wear bright colors and even then it can work. So many times I had people basically trample over me without noticing me, especially since they made bushes slow you down people avoid them even more. That said, this only works until you downed the first of them, if there are more than two you are very likely to die if you decide to fight.
Looking at the camera my guess is you got Sony (yellow-ish skin tones). If you want that pink look back, play with W/B and tint. I'm probably wrong with my guess but it looks great!
Movement is another key to success, know how the adjustable crouch height and walk speed works, and use it, always. That, and the noise you make at different speeds / positions / on different materials. Silent creeping up to someone for 2-5 min is almost a guaranteed kill as long as you don’t miss
I love both this and the solo video assumes we don’t just get shot out of no where with no chance, I’m have still not even unlocked the flea market and likely never will this wipe at least
Hey man great video! One critique I have is there's a lot of night clips in this video and I think some image correction to allow viewers to not have to watch this on max brightness might help
With tip 4, I was doing a run in Interchange and was hearing a bunch of gunfire approaching me in the back of Goshan, and so I slipped into a recess in the crates and waited. A couple minutes later a 4 man ran past me towards car, close enough I could have touched them. Let them go, waited a bit after I quit hearing them, and left the other way.
I think tip #1 is more, if you're not protected, become protected. If you feel vulnerable, find a safe corner to huddle in. Skurry to the bushes. Minimize and watch large angles, sprint through open spaces. Seek cover if shot at and hide, don't shoot back. Find a new angle and find them. Commit to as little risk as possible. It's ok to sit and regain your mental facilities and listen to your surroundings. Also B is full auto
2:00 that dangerous spawn is 100% lethal in your favor hear me out. I spawn there run towards the house and lay down next to a rock or some divet in the dirt. Scope the mountain and you will be aimed down site before the sniper can set up, catch a movement and boom easy counter.
After playing customs/shorelines for so long, I absolutely know to trust my gut feelings I still have the specific memories for why I mistrust areas and positions Like everytime I hit a "oh shit just sit still" moment
Bonus tip: *USE VOIP* Seriously, i don't understand, why people don't use it much, VOIP can help very easily avoid a lot of not good situations, but no, let's start shoot at group of 3-4 people and get killed instead of asking them if they can let you go do your quest
Tip 4 is really important for solo players more than anyone else, it happened to me in shoreline at night i was getting quest items in the resort when i was about to leave i hear a 3/4 man running around like maniacs and i just hide in one of the rooms that's not in the main hallways and hope to god they go away i don't wanna have to do this again, so i wait and after 5 minutes they go away, and i slip away very happy with 3 quests completed
The camera quality is definately higher. The lighting gets picked up a lot better. The backdrop greenscreen at times stand out more though. Overall it's a great improvement.
Knowing quests can also help you to do them without key, One time, I had a view of the Tarcone's director door and spotted a player entering big red, after waiting a little bit, he went upstairs so I scoped him, waited for him to open the door and as the animation of the key stopped, I head - nape him and went for my quest :D
The "Shut the f*ck up" tip clutched a Customs Raid for me, back in late 2022. Had a 3-Man wipe my two mates from up above Sniper Hill overlooking New Gas, engaging us from near the Trainline. I dropped one, then had two Nades drop near me. The first blacked my left arm, the second blacked my right arm and took half my head HP away. I jabbed a Zaggy and Proppy and booked it for the drop down toward Sniper Checkpoint. A second pair of Nades was followed by their pair of AKs on full auto. I sprint my ass down and into the small Portable Shack, near Hole in Wall near the Sniper Checkpoint. I sit my ass down and don't move a muscle. I'm just pointing my barrel vaguely to the left, towards the Hole, free-looking with my head. Heard them above me at two different points, as well as hearing them fire off rounds towards bushes they assumed I might have hidden in, and one final grenade. I went from 17m left in Raid, to 7m left, by the time I heard them run off towards Exfil at the regular ZB.
I’m actually a noob at this game relatively speaking. 2 months of experience. I did manage to figure out some of these things and they worked out well. The sit tight and don’t move play. That did indeed save me. I was playing scav on woods. I like to hug the edge of the mine field to get around. Rarely ever see anyone there. I’m near that section where you can find the 2 bodies that have some good loot on them (seriously I found an AVS rig on them, always search them.) I see 2 PMCs running parallel to me a fair distance away. I watch them, one turns and looks straight at me but I guess he just doesn’t spot me or didn’t think I was worth the effort. Anyway I’m currently close to scav house and that same 2 man run right past me about 5 feet away from me. I just put a bush between myself and them and watched them leave. Similar thing happened last wipe. I’m trying to do the quest to find the convoy and USEC camp. I see a 4 man full of stacked PMCs in formation, moving like navy seals. I hit the dirt in some tall grass and let them roll through. On the topic of repositioning. I was with a friend on woods (only map I play) and we spawn next to the med checkpoint. Absolute money spawn. Then a mosin man seeks in and starts suppressing me. He gets distracted by a scav behind him and I move. I fire a couple shots at where he is, then move again. He suppresses where he thinks I am, and I fire a couple more. Eventually he retreated. I hunkered down as a scav horde descended on me. But he came back and got me. Still it was working out well for me until then.
My biggest fear coming into Tarkov was the lack of cover. There are so many open spaces in this game. For some reason, BSG also made the extracts easily camped as well.

My bro PMC or Scav lad looking quite swole with the new camera 😎
Sometimes in fact, your brains do be decorating the snow
My biggest fear coming into Tarkov was the lack of cover. There are so many open spaces in this game. For some reason, BSG also made the extracts easily camped as well.
Yeah it’s disgusting
12:00 as a pmc, as a scav, you can take emercom, it's camped 1/10 times below 15min left.
Looking good, funny man.
You can’t always out shoot your opponent but you can usually out wait them
