I believe I have been played by a hacker. Someone replied with a comment with your pic and name. Said goodies for me. With a text number. He said I won the giveaway. He had another item he said that he was adding to the delivery and asked me how I wanted to have it delivered. I paid for shipping cost, but due to the weight, they asked for more.

Excellent intro! I do like hearing the gear in a mix. Sonic Drive Studio does demos really well where you hear it in a mix, but also isolated. Similar to what you did in this video. I appreciates it.
I think you give the most realistic audio, though, with it being unprocessed. Some channels' demos all sound the same because they process the audio too much. It loses the actual feel of the gear.

I had a bad relationship with my Jcm800 studio stealth.. but I kept it in my collection because of its own bad@ss look.
I got this Thrasher, put it on clean channel + half boost of sd1 before it & eq in the loop. Man, luckily i did not sell it & I'm in love with my Jcm800 now.. that Thrashers & Revv G3 as well 🔥 👌

Love the channel! and the pedal, been waffling on it for a bit. So you should in theory be able to put this in front of any amp into the clean channel, and then the signal that comes out the cab should be that thrash tone with some dialing to do, no? Just wondering if this would work in the clean channel of a vox night train, since it's all I got.

This pedal is a beast! Great range of tone and man if you want a tight thrash tone.... nails it!!!!...no boost or gate needed!
Gate is needed, imo - but it can definitely get on without boost!

These pedals are awesome, the only thing i would want is an unboosted mode so i could use an external boost in certain situations. (Sometimes i like to boost with a Rat) Love the mix intro too! Sick Ampeg cab as well!
you still can. the boost is more of a voicing thing than it is an overdrive built in. Still reacts to overdrives just fine
@@belligerentamateur ahh ok I appreciate you explaining it to me I thought it was like a whole built in overdrive. I might have to get one of these with a solid state power amp as a backup to my Ampeg VL haha.
I dig me some JB but that distortion on the NY setting was doin it for me. Then came the chunks on Bay Area…mm. Good pedal! I think the Distortion clicked with me the most, and I don’t have that in any of my guitars. Hm.

The intro sounds good man especially on the more mid-tempo chugs. On the faster alternate picking stuff with the double bass the notes were getting slightly buried by the drums. And I'm not listening on a phone I'm on my home system. Other than that it sounds tight. \m/
For sure, It was really tough to get those perfectly lined up on both L & R - I tried for about an hour but I couldn't stick any more time into it haha

Just checked some videos of this band and I found one, where one guitarist uses the EVH 5150 LBX (1) as his amp: [hate5six] All Out War - July 09, 2022.
Carcass used this small amp as well in LA at Metal and beer fest 2019.

I know it's a preference thing, but that EMG just sounded so lifeless compared to the two passives.
Typically I agree but the way the highs sound on the new york voicing just worked better with EMGs for me, personally. They were hard to get right on the passives.
Or you could just buy a metal zone
