- There are disturbing new details about the shooter who killed several people at a shopping mall in Texas over the weekend. Mauricio Garcia identified as an “incel.” a young man who considers himself unable to attract women. He also posted shirtless photos showing off white power tattoos. Meanwhile, America is embracing the lone survivor of the Cho family. The 6-year-old boy’s parents and brother were all killed in the shooting. Inside Edition’s Jim Moret has more.
The trauma that boy will carry watching his family get murdered is beyond😢

Preventive measures as far as knowing who is your Family member,neighbor,classmate etc. Allowing people to isolate and think it's willy nilly to post odd ideas and behavior speaks more about the disconnect with in our own homes and communities. We have so much work to do. Personal interaction is so priceless.

In 2015 I was 23 and in my last year of college. I remember just observing dudes in my generation and I figured many would become incels and act violently. I'm from the US, but my dad is from another country and had to flee. When I researched, it became obvious that in most societies where there is a big gap between wealthy men and everyone else; things usually turn violent. I had a bad feeling about it then and this shooter highlighted that I was actually unto something. This will continue to get worse if the inequality isn't addressed. This is how you end up with a violent third-world country that people have to flee out of fear.

This is why I stopped going to malls for general shopping 15 years ago. At best I’d go into one store to buy an item if I couldn’t get it online or delivered, but never lingered and just walked the mall. I would still go to movies, but not mall theaters. Covid put a stop to that.
