That was pretty amusing. Armando was funny as hell. And of course your now famous line at 10:36. You're not the only one, I've been there, and done that!
Man, you could have shipped the car with the fenders in it for like $1200. Probably a good idea to get a original v8 car, though. You gotta come out to Tucson! I know a guy that has all kinds of tri-power parts if you need anything.
lol I asked about the shipping but shippers were quoting 2500-2800 plus the 1,200 for the car. If the car was in California I’d buy it that day. I’ll be going soon to Arizona!
That Merc looks light enough to just tow bar it from FL to CA behind almost anything. Just a thought. Armando seems like the kind of guy I'd love to be sitting on a FL screen porch with late at night while sipping GA moonshine LOL. That guy's a hoot!
A good fiberglass man could pull a mold off of those fiberglass Parts really easy and you still may need to mold in bracketry to hold to the car with fiberglass Fastenal will ship those parts cheap on a crate everywhere in the country
It sure does not take much to impress you does it. Those fiberglass parts are not old, They are modern reproductions from Crite’s in Ohio. The Comet is a turd! Rusty and butchered. Look for a better project.
Good find. That dude was working you hard on that Comet!! Pretty funny guy.
Hahaha yes, if it wasn’t so far I’d get it
@@OmarRamirezGalaxie Sure, what a deal for a "one-of-none" Caliente Cyclone!

I do not sorry, sometimes I will come across parts at junkyards but these comets are getting hard to find
It sure does not take much to impress you does it.

Yes I’m sure they are Crites, I ended up finding a 64 cyclone in a little better condition although it needs work on the floor
