I've never giggled with delight watching an after effects tutorial continuously. Stu! dude you rock! The VFX Suite rocks. I am a blooming data scientist using AE to build data scenes ... this is such an amazing tool set to make things look realistic. Love it.

Make sure you tell your friends too! More people need to know about the many powerful features in Supercomp! Features like the ability to mix different log gammas together with sRGB/Rec.709 and output as whatever specific gamma you need or per-layer grain control. PLUS, some new features we added since this video was released including a one-button color match feature!

I'm just now starting to attempt learning after efx... I had no idea that after effects was used in Hollywood movies. My dog just ran off with the section of my lower jaw that just dropped to the floor. WOW! I was just getting ready to do a difficult VFX chroma comp of a cowboy walking through a backlit doorway into a dusty saloon and was having trouble with the lightwrap and complexity of the dealing with the environment...and then I see this demo. Thank you, Stu. Thank you, Red Giant. This changes everything.
sometimes you have this moment when you see a new piece of software and you are like .... how ... where .. when ... why .. what ? .. big respect to the one who coded this tool sometimes its like watching penn and teller doing a magic trick you enjoy but you have no clue about how it is acomplished. thx for sharing this video demonstrating the this piece of software

Easiest to watch 1 hour turtorial. You droped so many compositing bombs in this. This is great. You may have mentioned a chroma video once or twice? Cant wait to check out.
I'm using it now and it's really good, super fast and a lot of options. I would only add an alpha/lumma matte features or at least copy the properties if you're using mattes in the comp. I have been having to precompose many layers just because of this missing feature. Other than that, it's awesome.
Compositing Rec709 elements into LOG footage as briefly discussed at 45:20 was all I needed. The rest of this plug-in is gravy, Wrap it up folks we're done here.
