Fantastic! Thanks for sharing. I would like if you made some longer videos like the ones Kiptoe, or Ten Hundred, or Slew do. But this short video is amazing.

How do you get the egg out? This is actually a type of art i could be good at! I suck at drawing but i can doodle the heck out of some random paper so eggs may be a good next step!

I was wondering the same thing. Growing up in Hungary we used to either blow the raw egg out by piercing tiny holes at the top and bottom, or just boil the eggs for a really long time without ever piercing. She only seems to have one hole on each egg though, I'm thinking a small syringe could be the right tool

There are tiny egg blower pump thingies. It looks like a tiny round accordion, similar to a foot-operated pump to blow up an air mattress. You use a pin to carefully poke a hole in the end, then you poke the hollow pump needle into the hole. Squeeze the pump repeatedly, and it pushes air into the egg, which causes the egg insides to come out the hole.

I don't do this type of art but I used to get the egg out with a really tiny hole by using a flavor injector syringe and sucking the egg out rather than blowing air in. The needle is wider but since your pulling it out the hole barely needs to be bigger than the size of the needle itself. I've also found that it's much more reliable because eggs are strong against inward forces. If I was to get back into it I would even engrave grooves in the needle itself so it acts as a file and drills itself in. Heck, I'm going to go try that.

Same, I would love to try this one day for sure! It looks like so much work but so relaxing at the same time once you get the hang of it.

@@VagabondTE ooh, that makes a lot of sense! I was thinking a long the lines of some others in the thread with a syringe or blowing it out. If you don’t mind me asking, is it like an electric tool or a hand held one? Cause I could def see myself accidentally eating raw eggs with a manual one 💀

I would love to know how one would end up cutting the egg in half. I assume with a thin bladed jewelry saw.

I’m guessing quail since they’re somewhat commonly farmed and therefore would probably be easier to buy

I'm guess a quail egg. My dad raised quail and we used the eggs for all our cooking! Of course a few more than usual😂.

I always love the reveal as the wax melts away. Much like what is revealed in us when we are washed in the blood of Christ. A new creation.
