Suggestion: I have a link ball chain to loop in the disk and it works best. The chain links like the ones for the ceiling fans.

They’re hard to find lately! They’re called bead pins with screw ends. I haven’t been able to find ones with the ring clasp anymore, but they’re worth searching for!
