Hi there. I have just realised what a very SMALL HEAD I have! and have just been wondering if I could wear children's wigs so it was great to see your video. It seems to me that most children's wigs are basically a standard petite size and actually there are some pretty nice ones. Thank you for your video.

I feel like I'm getting a lot of conflicting information about size, and as someone who is just looking at getting into wig wearing, it makes it even more difficult. My head is very small (20.5 circ, 12 ear to ear, 12 front to nape) and some websites say petite is 21 x 13 x 13.25, which seems too big? But ultra petite/children's circ is 19, which seems too small? And then of course there's the issue of the selection being severely limited when you start looking at smaller sizes. I just don't know what to do. 😭
@@teresaross554 Awww I feel your pain! 😭😭 it’s not easy for petites out there! Sounds like you have a classic petite head. I would say Children’s wig would most likely be too small for you . Based on your measurements, you would probably find that a children’s wig is too short at the nape. It would fit you ok in the circumstances thou. Hope that helps ☺️🥹

The problem is they don't make enough variation in colors or enough pieces in petite or smaller. I've tried but you cannot do aa good job trying g to make a wig smaller because you cannot reduce the size over the ears or in front so you get a messy Half wig that's still too large over the ear Tabs hanging down too low make it impossible to make a good fit
No, sadly they don’t cater for that demographic as well 🥺 I think the only real option is to purchase child size human hair wig and customise it to achieve the desired colour. It’s an expensive outlay but they last so much longer xx
Do you actually have a child you could try on the wig, there doesn’t seem many tutorials gesturing actual kids so that’s why so few actually wear them and prefer unnatural dying whereas adults are all over UA-cam buying great wigs although many cover actual hair with cheap party rubbish which hasn’t the same effect.
That’s a great idea! Funny you said that thou. I met one girl who wore one of those Japanese Manga style red and white Bob wig 🤭 She looked cute but the wig quality could have been better. @@Teds_Wig_Emporium yeah I looked into the Miley but it again is fibre which my hairdresser didn’t approve is Belle Madame has a great child range so maybe kids, teenagers will wear them more in the future but they don’t know the ranges exist so glad professionals exist and that these videos might be found by some of them and they’ll listen to what you have to say
