23” circumference here. I would LOVE to see a video showing how the wigs fit on larger heads. It’s such an underrepresented group. We always have to go by the estimates of those with smaller heads. These estimates are helpful, you and Marlene are the best in describing fit, but there is still a lot of guesswork involved for those of us with larger heads. There’s a difference between comfortable-snug, snug-snug, a little too snug and painfully snug lol ❤
thank you for this video, would LOVE to see someone try on with a large LARGE head, my circumference is 23.5", ear/ear 14" front to nape 15.5" Thank you!!
Please tell the beautiful Tracy what a good sport she was, and how extremely helpful this video is. As a big head person I would be thrilled is you did at least one video with a larger head model Frannie. We have quite the struggle getting a good and comfortable fit. I just want to tell you Frannie that I see how hard you’ve been working this last year. You’ve built a business with great customer service and the best wig color chart on the Internet. You do videos that are more creative than the normal just trying on wigs ( which are great too). I see you girl. You’re crushing it! Ronnie💝💝
I love this video. The comparison is so helpful! I have a larger circumference 22.5.. however, my ear or ear and front to back are more average. I would love to see this same kind of video for larger sizes. Belle Tress is my favorite brand
Frannie, you do such great videos. I love so much all the different wigs we get to see on real people. I have had hair loss since I had Bariatric surgery in 2021, then in June this year had a second surgery. I had no clue when I first started buying wigs. I have learned so much from all the wig wearers and the channels on UA-cam. I now have around 100 wigs. I can’t thank you enough on all your great tips on fit, styling, etc. I just love shopping with you too!
My circumference is 21.5 so it looks like I could wear some average sizes. I thought I had to wear petites or petite/average. Thank you so much for this video. I didn’t know the brands were different in their charts.
Great job! Tracy, you were really great! I have to say Tracy looked fab in all the wigs, but I really loved Julianne petite lite. I loved the movement of the wig! Thanks again for a wonderful video.
This is a great idea for an informative video to help people understand the size/fit variance of different wig brands but it would have been more helpful to have a model with more average head dimensions to compare those variances. If a wig runs big on someone with a petite head size, that doesn’t help those of us whose head sizes are on the larger size because that wig or brand might could still be small on our heads.
Thanks so much for those Noriko comparisons that I asked for! My stats are Circumference 21.5", Front to nape 12", Ear to ear 12", Hairline to eyebrow 2", and Forehead to chin 7.5". My bio hair is buzzed and I don't wear a wig grip. The older Noriko Alva fits me well but the newer Zeal and Kade are way too big, with the ear tabs coming down way over top of my ears. Ellen Wille wigs fit me the best, particularly in the ear to ear measurements. Esprit seems to run larger in circumference but I can wear it easily with it cinched in. Estetica Petite wigs fit me perfectly, but I can still wear Jones and Mellow cinched in. I've found that Raquel Welch wigs are nearly always too big for me in the front to nape measurement; I haven't tried a petite RW but I bet it would fit me well. Belle Tress wigs that I've tried in the past come way down over top of my ears and are too large from front to nape too. Jon Renau petite wigs fit me much better than the regular size. Everyone's head is shaped so differently, plus some have hair and some don't, some wear wig grips and some don't. All that plays into how the various wigs will fit.
I'm a petite too! Raquel Welch, upstage petite (straightened), Simmer petite and Spotlight petite (trimmed shorter) are the absolute best wigs I've had. Jon Renau January petite, although I don't love the fiber, is decent. Switching to petite sizes was a serious game changer for me. People are absolutely shocked when I tell them it's a wig.
This was extremely informative and fun to watch. I'm new to the wig world and I'm also petite as well. I assumed I had to stay in this size and realized I don't have too. Thats great because what's out there in petites aren't really my style. Thank you for doing this very helpful.
My pleasure, Mary. Wigs can usually fit a pretty wide range of sizes. If you haven't already, I'd suggest joining our private Facebook group. You'll get to see many different wigs on different women. It's a great place to learn and get/give support on your wig journey. Here's a link: facebook.com/groups/frannieshair If you decide to join, make sure you answer all the membership questions and agree to the group rules. I hope to see you in the group.💕
Hi Mary! I find Raquel Welch and Estetica to fit the largest for my petite head measurements. Ellen Willa and Tressallure are good for smaller heads. With that said, I wear mostly Belle Tress these days. John Renau always fit me well and surprisingly Gabor, considering it's a sister company to Raquel Welch. I had to stop purchasing RW. The last 3 wigs were way too big. And they were repeat wig purchases that fit prior.
I also have a petite head. I wear mostly Estetica wigs. I automatically sew 3 wefts together across the back to get rid of the excess cap. This gives a much better fit in the back. Thanks for sharing these with us!
Hi Ladies! Very helpful and informative video! Yes! Blame it on me LOL. I have 21.5" C, 11.5" E2E, 12.5" F2B, a prominent occipital bone, hair, and very low hairline. I own and wear all the brands you showed, and rarely do ear tabs cover my sideburns due to the low hairline. My solution, as Tracy mentioned, is to apply root powder to match my wigs. I find partially hand-tied caps from Raquel Welch and Ellen Wille to run very small on my front to back and Jon Renau hand-tied caps to run the largest (I have to criss cross the adjusters); my opinion on the Jon Renau hand-tied is they fit up to 23" and perhaps a bit larger. Tracy, LOVE all the wigs on you, and yes, even Buster Brown and Grandmom's wig! Great job, Ladies! Wish I could have been there with you! xoxo Marlene
If you're talking about the one I was wearing at the beginning, it was Belle Tress Birmingham in Buttered Toast-R: frannieshair.com/products/birmingham-belle-tress
This is a wonderful video, I’m so glad I found it. I have issues not only with a larger head and the tabs never coming down far enough but also with a widows peak! Even with trying to use the powder to try to match it still shows on a windy day. I’m not sure how to cover this because cutting bangs into all my wigs just doesn’t cover it on those kind of days! Any suggestions on covering that would be appreciated. Great video ladies!
Hi Dorothy, when I first started wearing wigs, I would pluck or shave my widow's peak. After wearing wigs for 5 years, I just let it show. I feel it provides a more natural appearance. xoxo Marlene
V here.. My widows peak has receding hair on each side about an inch, so more prominent than it once was & it is dark hair. I often times have my lace front right over the widows peak and it will lay flat, if it does not it is usually due to my 11.5" ear to ear , then I will use It stays under the lace, but it does not stick on hair anyway, but lace still stays down as it is glued along the rest of the edge. I often place my front edge of the wig, 1/2 inch back letting the 1/2" widows peak just peak out. Wigs with narrow lace, it will be in front of the lace. I do not see it as an issue. But I also wear rooted wigs, which helps as the hair I have is black with silver in it. I have never nor would I ever shave or pluck my widows peak. I figure if people are noticing it, then they are in my private space, up too close to me and I have probably backed up a step or so anyway, or they need too. 💕V
Love tha last JON RENEAU curl wig in the last wig on your model. You had two Jon reneau wigs on… love the first. ❤ also, that first blonde wig on the lady presidenter was spectacular!
I wear the Jon renau juillienne lite. Love it. Different colour than you had the great sidekick try on, I wear 12s58. So then I needed a back and bought it from Frankie’s! Beautiful. Thank you for all your help in the past year or so. Tel your friend she was great!
This is the question that sends me to my local wig shop, to try on in person. Thank you Frannie, I've been wearing wigs for many years. I bought a wig once that came from china, I will never do that again, I waited three months, it did not look like the picture, it must have been stuffed in that plastic bag under heavy weight for a very long time, there was no fixing that stupid thing. I keep it as a reminder as to why I go to my local shop.
Definitely do this with somebody who has a larger head because they're not a lot of wigs out there for large caps and I definitely have a larger head so that would be great if you do a video with that as well thank you
Thank you! When I watched the video, I liked it better on me. Funny how that works. I gifted her to a fellow wig sister. I know she will just sit as I will reach for my BT collection first. I'd rather she get worn. ❤
I have two HM wigs and my head circumference at the time I bought them was 23". After weight loss it's now 22.25". HM fit me well when my head was larger, and still fits comfortably. The ear tabs come down far enough for decent coverage, but not so low down that it rubs against my ears. My ear to ear is 12" and forehead to nape is 12"
Very helpful, excellent content, thank you! My circumference is 23”, ear to ear over top 12”, crown hairline to nape 13”, hairline to chin 8.5”, hairline to eyebrows 2.5”, chin to collarbone 3.5”. I’ve been at a loss because some average caps are small, some are fine, I tried a large cap that was small. I can really see why after looking at your size charts, which are awesome!
Thank you both for all this fits info. I might try sewing some wefts together because my Belle Tress City Collection pieces are quite large on me and the ear tabs cover my ears and when I pull my ears out the tabs sit hard on my two hearing aids and top of ears… ouch! 😂
That does sound painful! You can sew the wefts together with just a few stitches that can easily be taken out. That way you don't have to worry about permanently damaging your wig.
This was extremely helpful. Not only is it hard to find a good color but finding one that fits is also difficult. I have ordered a wig to find it didn't fit me ear to ear and was too small in that measurement. I try to make a chart of what I ordered and how I felt about the color and fit. My bio hair has grown in so I haven't been looking at wigs lately but honestly, I hate having to find a salon now that I moved and someone who can make me look as good as my wigs did! And I hate making an appointment when I can go to my closet and grab a wig if I want to change up my look! My bio hair makes me look older because it is mostly grey but I put on my wig and it takes about 10 years off me! It is amazing! I'll have to notice which styles might fit me ear to ear better. Love the wig Frannie has worn in most of the video but I couldn't find what wig that is? She looks great in almost every wig she shows!
Thank you! I'm so glad you found it helpful! I'm wearing Belle Tress Birmingham in Buttered Toast for the majority of the video: frannieshair.com/products/birmingham-belle-tress?_pos=1&_psq=Birm&_ss=e&_v=1.0
Thank you! Tracy’s measurements are so similar to mine. Shorter forehead as well. I have curly hair too! I hope to see Tracy try on wigs on a regular basis …. Please♥️
Thanks for such a great talk! I had to chuckle because listening to Tracy was like listening to myself! I have exactly the same problem with ear tabs rubbing the top of my ears and creating a gap when I try to pinch them in. All brands seem to do this. My favorite is Belle Tress. My circumference is 21.
@@FranniesHair I am 11.5 ear to ear and 11.5 front hairline to nape. All brands tend to bunch up behind my ears. I just deal with it as best I can. I choose Belle Tress because of the low density. I especially love the British City collection! 🥰
Thanks so much! This is terrific information. It aligns with my experience. I find I like Esthetica, Belletress, Jon Renau and Raquel Welch best. Tressallure is also a win for me. I also recently tried a Mane Attraction wig and I love the fit (just don’t have a color with them that I love, unfortunately-they need better reds). My measurements are 21.7/8 circumference, 12.5 ear-to-ear and 14 front to back. I have a lot of bio hair that I need to tuck under my wigs. The most uncomfortable wigs for me have been Noriko and Envy. Ellen Willa is a bit small on me and at this point I won’t really try her even if the style is very tempting (which many are!) There are enough great styles in the other brands to keep me happy! 😄
This was extremely helpful. I feel as an average Noriko was small , Jon Renau fit perfectly in most styles, estetica fit well in most . Those are the only ones I have tried. I am having difficulty finding what looks good these days because with age my face shape is a rectangle these days. Many wigs seem to make it more so. I am not giving up, I know I can find something that works.

Great video. You do amazing jobs on videos, Frannie. The best and I've seen hundreds. Your topics are very helpful. I don't get the feeling that you're giving a sales pitch that i get with so many other reviewers. I have Lia II 😂😂 and Santa Monica. I think they're pretty much the same. I prefer the Lia II. The one on the BelleTress seems bulky to me. Frannie...maybe some time you can find somebody who wears a Large cap so we Large headed women can see them being modelled and not stock pics? I never saw one before....
Thank you for watching. The struggle is real. I'll have to try sewing some wefts together and see if thar helps. Above my ears gets so irritated and itchy at night. I'm going through benadryl cream like crazy.
Great video, Fran. I've found the best fit for me is Paula Young, which fits like a glove, except ear to ear, although PY is the closest. I have several each of Noriko, Estetica, EW, Jon Renau, Rene of Paris, Rachel Welsh, PY, and Amazon. And none fit my ear well. All are too short at the ear tabs. Circumference 21.5", ear to ear 12.5", forehead to nape 12.6/8" forehead to chin 8". I can't understand why the ear tabs fall short on me on every brand.
Very interesting. Thank you for sharing. This video was eye opening for me as I was solely focused on the fit of the different brands. When you take, style, and color out of the mix, it was easy to focus on how it fits. Having Frannie discuss each manufacturer's sizing chart really pulled it all together for me. Now I have a better understanding of the brands and their fit for certain measurements.
Thanks for this informative video. Like Tracy, I began losing my dark, curly hair at 46 shortly after my husband died. At that time, there were few viable options to find a "believable" wig. As a teacher, I had a particular desire for my hair to look as real as possible, particularly at the hairline. Now (31 years later) I have little difficulty in finding wigs that fit. My biggest issue is determining the exact color of gray/silver/salt and pepper color that will look good on me at my present age. Hmmmm ----- on second thought, I may try a deep red just to celebrate the fact that I survived and went on to live a full, happy life all on my own.😊
Lol...I agree...what I love about wigs is that I can change up my color whenever I want. If you'd like help, we offer free one-on-one video consultations with a stylist. There is no obligation to purchase. You can sign up for a session here: frannieshair.com/pages/consultation
@FranniesHair may I ask you the same question. So much out there and so hard to choose from for a beginner. I'm looking for what looks and feels like natural hair but yet comfortable. My measurements happened to be same as yours.
I think Belle Tress is an excellent brand particularly for beginners due to density, lack of permatease, fibers, color, impeccable lace fronts...very natural looking. I have many BT wigs. I love other brands for different reasons, but I would definitely recommend BT for a beginner that wants a natural look.
Belle tress is my favorite brand hands down. I've worn Raquel Welch, jon renau, estetica, envy, gabor, Tony of Beverly, and Belle Tress is my overall preference. During the video, henry margu, tressallure, and noriko were all new brands for me. BT still my favorite.
If you are ethnically Northern European or East Asian, your head will most likely be flat at the back, where most others have a more rounded look. Learnt this from a wig shop owner. So you get like a bubble, at the top back of your head.
@@janetdoolittle1632 In my opinion, yes - Ireland is Northern Europe. I am thinking of all the very pale sand/red-haired Irish.... This wig shop was in London and I am Swedish, which the lady was aware of. They have a wide spectrum of clients, I guess - so she had been able to observe for herself, that head shapes vary a bit, on "ethnic" lines. I complained about that "bubble" and she said it was because of Northern European ethnic features. To me, it was a HUGE revelation. It annoyed me all my life, that wigs fit me so poorly. She explained that the big brand wigs typically fit the best on people from farther South, in Europe... I.e. women with that "curved" silhoutte, i.e.more bulk at the back end of the "crown". I later re-told this to someone at a wig shop in Sweden. She had noted the "bubble" phenomenon too. I would say it is mainly noticeable if you have no hair at all, like me.... And you also like a snug, secure fit - like a glove. If none of that matters, you could tuck your own hair in the "bubble", and get a more attractive head shape to boot... If you really hate it and want a super snug, comfy fit, get the sewing kit out, order some silicone strips and set aside a FULL day of your weekend, to "hack" the wig... That Follea EUR 8000 ultra comfy cap, you can actually make that, if you can sew, and are prepared to spend 8-10 hours.
I’m Norwegian, Scottish and I thought my mother had left me on my back in the crib, poor mom , and I have always wanted to that rounded skull look so now I can stop wondering if it’s brain damage! Thinking of some sort of padding to clip in there to fill out my wigs.
Wow, I am 50% Italian and the other 50% is Irish and Swedish! I have a flat head too and thought the same thing about my mother putting me on my back and flattening my head as an infant!! Lol- poor Mom- blamed her all these years! I am 73 so they did not know this back then!! Bet my mother had a huge Irish Catholic guilt trip!!Good to know this finally! 😊
That was Birmingham by belle tress in buttered toast. She's beautiful, isn't she?!I couldn't stop looking at her either when I should have been paying attention to what Frannie was saying. 😂
Hi, thanks for this content because it's very helpful, I'd like to know the same infos about Gisela Mayer, do you have experience with this brand too? Thanks🙏
Thank you, Amanda. I caught that the second it came out of my mouth, but being on video, I just rolled with it. I blame it on my menopausal brain. Stigma, stigmatism. Lol ❤
Yes, I can see how they would be too small. The HM I tried for the video was my first HM. I didn't find it to be accommodating to larger heads, especially in the ear to ear measurement. Of course, that could have been unique to the wig I tried, but definitely didn't feel as if it would be comfortable to wear above 22 inches.
Most have too much bulk and are too big for me. But petite is too small on me. It’s a battle!I don’t like bulky hair or bulky wig caps. I want throw and go sporty hair.
I have a 21in circumference, 11½forehead to nape & 11 in ear to ear with 2¼ forehead, 3"neck & forehead to chin 8" RW winner average fits perfectly my 1st Wig & no problems & RW Real Deal is huge, crisscross velcro at nape, long nape & crown wefts are stitched together for 9 weft rows starting at monofilament, it's low density but has permatease upper sides & back so feels a bit like a helmet. Ears & tabs have great coverage but are right on my ears & hurt a bit & lace front is a bit scratchy. Esthetica petite Charm is perfect on me right out of the box. Rene of Paris Audrey is me next favorite after RW Winner. Pulled straps in just a little "½ & trimmed bangs. ❤ it. Ellen Wille cool is my 3rd favorite fits perfectly lace front is a bit scratchy & wants to lift after several wearings but a wash & right back in shape. My newest wig is Estetica Brighton it fits very well, love the fiber. It is not low density but not much if any permatese, just a lot of fiber but it goes with the beachy waves style. Pulled the velcro tabs in half way. Lace front sometimes pulls away if not perfectly placed at my hairline but not scratchy & good coverage at ear tabs & the ears are above my ears so comfortable. This was a great UA-cam. I've found that fit can be different on different styles with in a brand.
It is so frustrating to find large cap wigs in styles that work for me. I love mid neck bob or pageboy with and without bangs and have not been able to find one. My head circumference is 23".
Great video, ladies. Finally…a petite head lady trying in some wigs.its so difficult. Took me over a year to final find one that is petite…fits me very well, I think. Going to wear in the cooler weather. I’m petite. I’m kind of thankful I have a petite head to go with my petite body. Hey Frannie. Why don’t more wig manufacturers make petite size wigs? Seems the make average and large stretchy wigs. Thank you both for taking the time to do this. Frannie….you look the same., pretty as ever. And your side kick model also very cute. Now go out and tell a few more wig manufacturers that you need more petite wigs…low density Bobs. Very pale blond. With side swept bangs. Or not. Left part. Maybe hand sewn caps. But not super expensive. Hoping you and family are well. Tell them petite wigs are ‘in’ and a lot of women need the petite size. Thanks again. Sandy, I was thinking of you when we did this video! I am praying for your health. I hope the doctors can help you to feel better soon! The ponies are getting their winter coats in and will be wearing their coats soon.😁💕😘🙏
Sorry. You can just stand with your chin paralell to the floor and measure from the top of your neck to your collar bone. I will be putting a new video out shortly about measuring correctly.💕
So frustrating when you have a small head - not a ton of darling petite wigs around...yeah they fit but they aren't very cute when you need a short wig, which after 70 you just do!. Best brand around for small heads is Ellen Wille and Jon Renau petite Jazz is also a winner for me if only they were always the same - no 2 wigs ever seem to look alike even though they say they are :(
True that the styles do make a difference. But most brands do trend a certain way. There are always exceptions. Since we can't try every wig on, we wanted to give a general impression of the brands. Thank you for watching!💕
Frannie did it again! Great video. You both looked so good in them all..except the Buster Brown, I think. If I lived closer, I'd love to be the "big head".
Frannie, I think there's a market for right-side parts. There are many of us who are searching, and can not always afford mono tops. Some examples or ideas/hacks to solve the evasive right-side part problem would be a huge help! You could do a big head, right-side part video, and cover two wig misfits at one time!? lol (I'm a major misfit - petite/average, flat occipital, right-side part, and brunette! Darn near impossible to find anything I can afford, and will still be on chemo/treatment for at least 6 months. Geez Louise...lol)
Tracy’ wig she wore on to show was her best of all. Everyone seems to like the front knots when there are so many light , almost white knots along the lace front. Not referring to this video but in general. I think it looks so unnatural. So obvious. The wig she’s wearing is a good example of not doing that and how natural a light base looks best on light wigs. I’m also sick of these dark roots. It screams , I don’t have hair that could be blond in any way. If your roots are that dark it doesn’t make sense to bleach it so white. Looks cheap. Sophisticated customers wouldn’t want a wig that would be in bad taste if it were their own real hair. I realize wigs are now for women of all different taste levels but I hope as wigs are becoming popular with more refined women, the wig companies will place more emphasis on hiring women with refined taste to choose coloring more suited to the sophisticated clientele. Maybe Martha Stewart would be interested in being an advisor.
Maybe Fran would be the better choice rather than Martha Stewart. You have excellent taste in color and all things so you should pitch that to the companies who would like to increase their bottom line with the “ladies who lunch” crowd
It's all about fit. She's letting us know how each of the brands fit her head in the hopes that others can figure out which brands will fit them best. Thank you for watching!💕
All excellent points.
thank you for this video, would LOVE to see someone try on with a large LARGE head, my circumference is 23.5", ear/ear 14" front to nape 15.5" Thank you!!
That would be my dream. A video, or series of videos with all large head friendly wigs.
I have a 22,5 inch/ ca. 58cm head and the City Collection from Belle Tresse fits me (with middle adjusters) like a second skin.
Working on it as we speak...Thank you so much for watching and for the feedback!😘
This was great to watch. I’d love to see a show with a 23” circumference as well.
Me too. Seems like more attention is paid to those with petite heads. My circumference is 23".
Ronnie💝💝
Thank you so much! ❤
Aw...thank you so much, Ronnie! I am working on finding a larger head model as we speak.😘
I agree with Ronnie! A video with a larger head model trying Average and Large wigs would be perfect!! Thank you for everything, Frannie. Joanne
Couldn't have said it better!! We ALL appreciate you so much Frannie and your group of dedicated elfs!!
I’m getting tired of the dark root and blonde. I really like the “frosting look “ on Frannie but I’m 67 I need grey I have no grey it’s brown!
This was really helpful, thanks ladies❤
I'm so glad you found it helpful!💕
I love this video. The comparison is so helpful! I have a larger circumference 22.5.. however, my ear or ear and front to back are more average. I would love to see this same kind of video for larger sizes. Belle Tress is my favorite brand
Working on it now.💕
Frannie, you do such great videos.
Thank you so much, Kathy! I'm so glad to hear you find the videos helpful, and I truly appreciate that you shop with me!😘
This was so helpful. I have the same head as Tracy. So happy I saw this!
So happy you liked it and it was helpful ❤
I'm so glad you found it helpful!💕
This is another very informative video. Thank you ladies!
I'm so glad you found it helpful, Janis!😘
I definitely enjoyed this! I’m always interested in the fit. Thanks Frannie!
My pleasure! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!💕
My circumference is 21.5 so it looks like I could wear some average sizes. I thought I had to wear petites or petite/average. Thank you so much for this video. I didn’t know the brands were different in their charts.
My circumference is 21.5" also. I usually wear average. Of course, your other measurements matter as well. Thank you for watching!💕
I’m a 22” and Belle Tress fits me perfect.. Hand tied and welted… I do have them adjusted all the way out but very comfortable.
That's great to know...thank you!
Extremely helpful. Learned a lot. Thanks to you both. 🙏
So happy you liked it and it was helpful. Thank you so much. ❤
I love the dark wavy wig on Tracy, colour and style really suits her. Thank you ladies, this was very interesting and useful
Thank you. When we recorded the video I thought it was way too dark foe me, but when I watched today, I loved it on me. Funny how that happens. ❤
@@tracymizerny3894 yes I thought it was the one that suited you most
So glad you enjoyed it, Jo! Yes, I thought the darker one looked nice on Tracy too. It's amazing how many wigs can look good on someone!💕
Great info! I’m petite and have struggled with what manufacturer to buy from.
I’m so glad you found it helpful!💕
Great job! Tracy, you were really great! I have to say Tracy looked fab in all the wigs, but I really loved Julianne petite lite. I loved the movement of the wig! Thanks again for a wonderful video.
Awww thank you so much, Marcie!
Yes she did!💕
So helpful!! Thank you very much!
I'm so glad you found it helpful!💕
This is a great idea for an informative video to help people understand the size/fit variance of different wig brands but it would have been more helpful to have a model with more average head dimensions to compare those variances. If a wig runs big on someone with a petite head size, that doesn’t help those of us whose head sizes are on the larger size because that wig or brand might could still be small on our heads.
I have a model with a 23" circumference coming soon....stay tuned!💕
This video seeing wigs on others is great, Plz do more
I have one coming up soon with someone with a larger head...stay tuned!💕
My pleasure! It's true...so many variables!💕

Of course you do...you are so handy!💕
@@FranniesHairand i am so not handy. I don't even sew buttons. 😅

@@MarlenesWigChatStudio thank you so much, beautiful lady!

OK Frannie. I am in LOVE with the wig you are wearing!!!
Frannie the first wig you are wearing in this video is Picture Perfect.
Which wig is the second one? When you are sitting down with Tracy.
Hi Helen, Frannie had on Birmingham in buttered toast by belle tress ❤
@@tracymizerny3894 thank you! She looks 😍🤩😍
@@helenemakuch8366 yes, Birmingham is gorgeous and looks amazing on Frannie.
The last video Frannie posted 6 days ago she reviews Birmingham and 2 other belle tress wigs if you want more info on that wig.
she is beautiful and the best one in my opinion is the first one she wore! 😊
Yes she is!💕
Did I miss the brand and name of wig you are wearing Frannie for the majority of video.
Great video on how to measure head!
I'm asking Marlene and V to respond to you since they both have widow's peaks...and they may deal with them differently.😁
Marlene, do you have an issue with the lace front laying over the hair?
@@FranniesHair No, I sure don't. My lace lays perfectly flush with my forehead even though it's over the widow's peak :-)
Love the wig you are wearing in the first part of the video.
Can I please ask what the name and colour is?
Sure. It's Belle Tress Birmingham in Buttered Toast-R: frannieshair.com/products/birmingham-belle-tress
Love tha last JON RENEAU curl wig in the last wig on your model. You had two Jon reneau wigs on… love the first. ❤ also, that first blonde wig on the lady presidenter was spectacular!
Thank you! And thank you so much for watching!💕
I wear the Jon renau juillienne lite. Love it. Different colour than you had the great sidekick try on, I wear 12s58. So then I needed a back and bought it from Frankie’s! Beautiful. Thank you for all your help in the past year or so. Tel your friend she was great!

Very very helpful! Thank you Frannie and Tracy! I'm off to remeasure my head because my RW fits me like it does on Tracy.
I'm so glad you found it helpful, Kelly!💕
This is the question that sends me to my local wig shop, to try on in person.
Thank you Frannie, I've been wearing wigs for many years.
I bought a wig once that came from china, I will never do that again, I waited three months, it did not look like the picture, it must have been stuffed in that plastic bag under heavy weight for a very long time, there was no fixing that stupid thing. I keep it as a reminder as to why I go to my local shop.
Sounds like that wig was a disaster. It's great that you have a local wig shop. Many people don't have that luxury. Thank you for watching!💕
Definitely do this with somebody who has a larger head because they're not a lot of wigs out there for large caps and I definitely have a larger head so that would be great if you do a video with that as well thank you
I'm working on finding someone as we speak.😁
Enjoyed this so much. Very informative. Tracey is a pretty lady.
@@sylviasharp8419 thank you so much. How kind of you. 🥰

I actually really liked the Raquel welch 2nd wig she put on , On your model ❤
The RW wigs Look amazing on her ❤
My ear to ear is 12" and forehead to nape is 12"
Thank you for that feedback!💕
Very helpful, excellent content, thank you! My circumference is 23”, ear to ear over top 12”, crown hairline to nape 13”, hairline to chin 8.5”, hairline to eyebrows 2.5”, chin to collarbone 3.5”. I’ve been at a loss because some average caps are small, some are fine, I tried a large cap that was small. I can really see why after looking at your size charts, which are awesome!
That was so informative for me too. Thank you for watching and commenting. ❤
I'm so glad you found this helpful. I'm on the hunt for a model with a larger head to do this kind of video.💕

All this information is really helpful thanks for sharing 👍🏻
My pleasure! I'm so glad you found it helpful!💕
Thank you so much for watching. I feel your pain, my friend. If only the rest of me was petite. 😂
Are your other measurements the same as Tracy's as well?
You are petite!
@@FranniesHair I am 11.5 ear to ear and 11.5 front hairline to nape. All brands tend to bunch up behind my ears. I just deal with it as best I can. I choose Belle Tress because of the low density. I especially love the British City collection! 🥰
@@MedievalKitty me too!
Thank you so much for watching and commenting. I agree with you. ❤
Thank you so much for posting this info. Very helpful!💕

I'm so glad you found it helpful!💕
I'd love to hear how it works for you.💕
Great video, Fran.
Have you tried Belle Tress? Tracy found their ear tabs came down further.
Yes, I was hoping you’d do this with a large head model. I’m 23”.
Stay tuned, I'm sure Frannie will do that for you soon. ❤

How nice having Tracy share her experiences. The ear tab talk was extra interesting.
Thank you so much ❤
Thanks for this informative video.

What brand did she like the best for overall from fiber to comfort
She seems to like Belle Tress best even though it wasn't the most comfortable around the ears.
You make such innovative videos!! Like others in the comments I would love to see a big head version of this :)
Well, it certainly sounds like I need to make that video...working on it!💕
If you are ethnically Northern European or East Asian, your head will most likely be flat at the back, where most others have a more rounded look. Learnt this from a wig shop owner. So you get like a bubble, at the top back of your head.
Would you consider Ireland northern European?
Very interesting! Thank you for sharing!💕

Henry Margu (sp?). I have a 22 1/2 circumference and sent back all 3 that I bought from them. They were all too small.
Good to know! Was it the ear tabs? or the entire wig?
Would a cap help fill the extra room in the cap
Wig grips and caps can help to fill that space. It really depends on what you feel comfortable wearing.
What wig and color was Tracy wearing when the show started? It looked so natural I wonder if it was her real hair.

I completely understand. I wore RW for years and repeat wigs are way too big now.

Some examples or ideas/hacks to solve the evasive right-side part problem would be a huge help! You could do a big head, right-side part video, and cover two wig misfits at one time!? lol
(I'm a major misfit - petite/average, flat occipital, right-side part, and brunette!
Lol! Thank you!💕
No offense but you talk too much...I'm glad she's adjusted to her wig but what dies that have yo do with the wig you're selling..its so off putting
It's all about fit. She's letting us know how each of the brands fit her head in the hopes that others can figure out which brands will fit them best. Thank you for watching!💕
