love your comment about not wanting to run out to Walmart late at night, for butcher paper... i thought i was the only one who enjoys doing my crafts in the middle of the night! Lol. thats when the house is quiet, and i can get in my zone, tho!!
Hey Tanner! I have a random question for you. What type of lighting do you have in your studio? I've been looking around and nothing seems to work. I'm tired of wasting my money and I LOVE your lighting, well, AND your videos of course😊. Please Help Me!
Do yall have any videos on using infusable ink on colored T-shirts? I have requests for black shirts with a difficult design that will definitely need to be layered! TIA❤
There is no such thing :) This is INK, not a material. We don't use black paper in our printers, so we wouldn't use white ink on black material. It wouldn't show up.
Excellent as usual!😎🥰 I don't know what I'd do without MGL well I'd be making a lot of expensive mistakes and not have near enough inspiration plus the wonderful people make life happier thank you very much!!
Cricut does not recommend using parchment paper because "Parchment paper has a coating or an infusion of silicone. Butcher paper, on the other hand, has no treatment." :) Hope this helps!
I bought cricut sublimation sheets to try for the first time. The negative paper will not come off the backing paper. The back of the sheet looks orange through the carrier sheet. Has it 'gone off' or something? I used the cricut setting for sublimation sheets.
I’ve tried several times to use infuseable ink and I cannot weed it appropriately! It peels in so many layers, leaving the white part behind but taking off the pattern. Any suggestions?!
Hi! If I wanted to use infusable ink on butcher paper, would I still follow this same instruction? And would the mini heat press (recommended by you guys 😁) work? Or could vinyl sticker be a second option for butcher paper?
I saw a dypress poly t spray that allows you to use infusable ink on 100 percent cotton . Could you guys try that on camera. I always trust your thoughts before I buy something because I know you will say the truth!!!!!!!
And I thought I was a genius when I cut my design on paper to be sure it would fit under my EP before cutting the final in the ink transfer sheet! Now I see you did this six months ago. Also, with the Artesprix sublimation markers, I know they work on regular copy paper because I attended an event where the reps of that company had us make several things with those markers.
if you apply a white vinyl glitter layer first then use infusible ink on top of the glitter. Th ink will infuse to the glitter and be visible on your denim. Have fun!
Can you make a colored in drawing on copy paper, and then save it to use at a later date or does the ink have to be pressed the same day it’s made? TIA
That's a good question! We do not know, however since these items are not cheap, we suggest not taking any chances and going ahead and using it when you draw it :)
I have drawn with the cricut maker with infusible ink pens and then used infusible markers and watered them down to paint the laser copy paper with a brush - and didn’t iron it for weeks and it worked fine, I would do a test first! Have fun!
So I am making mugs with infusible ink pens by cricut and laser paper (wish I had seen this before I spent so much on it 🤣) but another hack is you can put sublimation mugs in the oven at 400°F for 15 minutes with these and it works amazing! As long as you make sure to tape the entire design down or use a silicone mug wrap (learned the hard way lol) my question is, does anyone know if you can put a mug back in the oven to add something else to the mug? I didn't think about it with my first 3 to put my business name, but I would like to add it, I'm just afraid to mess something up lol
Do the shirts HAVE to be white? I know they have to be polyester to work best, but so that have to be white? I’d love to make shirts for my daughter but hate the idea of her staining a white shirt so easily lol.
I tried it on a gray shirt that was 60% cotton and 40% polyester. The infusible ink was very dull. Also watch Cricut Design Space with Melody Lane. She recently did a video comparing Cricut's gray blanks and Cricut white blanks. Just search her channel.
@@deborahwolfe198 your results were poor because your level of poly was only 40%. If you use a light color that’s all poly, you’ll have pretty decent results. You need at least 90% polyester.

Love your videos. Thank you . I was wondering if I can use freezer paper instead of butcher paper.
Freezer paper and butcher paper are the same thing. The names are interchangeable :D I work in a meat department with butcher/freezer paper :D
Thank you so much for sharing. I can’t wait to make my first project using infusible ink.
You are so welcome! We hope you enjoy Infusible Ink!

Can we use parchment paper?
How do I get white infusible ink for black or navy blue hoodies ??
There is no such thing :) This is INK, not a material. We don't use black paper in our printers, so we wouldn't use white ink on black material. It wouldn't show up.
What can I use instead of Butcher paper?
Polyester t-shirts? That's a no go for me. But it looks like you can make so many other things so I might try it out. Thanks for the video!!
You're welcome! Happy to know you liked it! :)
Ordered mines a few days ago and waiting for it to come. I’m excited and thankful for your videos !!!

Aww, that's so sweet. Thank you!
I want to use Infusible Ink on a black men’s shirt, I know what U said about polyester what is recycled polyester and can I use that.
Do u have to use butcher paper?.. or can I use parchment paper?
Cricut does not recommend using parchment paper because "Parchment paper has a coating or an infusion of silicone. Butcher paper, on the other hand, has no treatment." :) Hope this helps!

I heard parchment can be use in place of butchers paper could this be true?
correct :)
while the infusible sheets dry out after opened?
Nope :)
I was wondering if u can put infusible ink on leather Nike Air Force Ones somehow
Unless it's been treated with a polycrylic sealer, you cannot use it on leather.
Will you be doing a video comparing Cricut infusible pens vs the artesprix pens?
Yes! Keep an eye out for it :) It was an amazing comparison!
I’ve tried several times to use infuseable ink and I cannot weed it appropriately! It peels in so many layers, leaving the white part behind but taking off the pattern. Any suggestions?!

Kayla Morrison are you rolling to crack it?
Thank you
Thank you for watching!
Can I use infusible ink after tie-dying a t shirt?
This won't work well, because for tie dye you need 100% cotton, but for infusible ink you need at least 65% polyester :)
you can buy a poly spray for fabric and it would work
So many awesome hacks, thank you!!
Thank you for watching!
I've made a few ceramic coasters with infusable ink, but I'm curious, can you use the coasters that actually absorb condensation?
What blade are you using mine isnt cutting enough :(
Mine either!
Hi! If I wanted to use infusable ink on butcher paper, would I still follow this same instruction? And would the mini heat press (recommended by you guys 😁) work? Or could vinyl sticker be a second option for butcher paper?
I may be slow but I’m gonna ask... so transfer paper isn’t regular paper... and can we just print on the butcher paper instead of transfer paper
I saw a dypress poly t spray that allows you to use infusable ink on 100 percent cotton . Could you guys try that on camera. I always trust your thoughts before I buy something because I know you will say the truth!!!!!!!
We actually have that!!!! We will definitely demo it for you!!

Having trouble using infusible ink on tiles
What is your specific question?
And I thought I was a genius when I cut my design on paper to be sure it would fit under my EP before cutting the final in the ink transfer sheet! Now I see you did this six months ago. Also, with the Artesprix sublimation markers, I know they work on regular copy paper because I attended an event where the reps of that company had us make several things with those markers.

So when you say copy paper, does that mean you can draw with the infusible ink pens on copy paper, and then press the design per usual?
Yes. I did a mandala on a Walmart tshirt. Regular copy paper. Works
Yes
Would it burn though?
Can we use infusible ink on denim?
You cannot. Denim is too dark of a color, and also fabric that you use Infusible Ink with has to be mostly if not all Polyester :)
if you apply a white vinyl glitter layer first then use infusible ink on top of the glitter. Th ink will infuse to the glitter and be visible on your denim. Have fun!
Can you make a colored in drawing on copy paper, and then save it to use at a later date or does the ink have to be pressed the same day it’s made? TIA

i used regular printer paper and it came out so faded and not vibrant at all :(
Can you bleach shirt can you use infusible ink sheets
After you bleach a shirt I don't see why you couldn't use Infusible Ink!

Did you ever try it? I'd love to know the result :)
Around 4:11, you said 98-100% Polyester? Is that right?
70-100% Polyester is best. The lower polyester % means it will not be as bright and vibrant.
Tanner Bell Thanks so much!!
tried using regular copy paper, foundnthe colours weren't as vivid
Okay! Here's our comparison: ua-cam.com/video/6xzg0WUokQw/v-deo.html

Question, what are you classifying laser paper as. I own a printing company and get it really reasonable.
You need to make it so your sound is louder I have my volume to the loudest and I still have problems hearing you.
So sorry about the sound
It would have been great to see instead of just talking about it
