I’m currently working with the cricut company in a design squad. I loved this video so I referred everyone your way! Hope you get many more followers! Thanks for sharing such wonderful content!
Thank you for sharing it with me. I have only had my Cricut Marker Machine for about 3 and heft months now. I have made about 20 cards now & and am looking forward to getting stock, making more things. Family and friends ❤️ 😊
Thank you for taking the fear of something so new in the retail market, away. You are detailed in your teaching method and in real time, so it is making this new process easy. I jump up every morning with my cuppa and wait for your post, and just think- Black Friday is now only 99 days away! Cannot wait for the offers on Cricut items. Been saving my money all year for this event.
I don't have a Cricut, do you have videos with Cricut alternatives? Like using regular stencils? I'm a poor crafter, looking for alternatives for high end looks!
I know you said you have another video coming out to suggest other end products but I didn't here when? Can you used wood, say as in coasters or cutting boards? I have some ideas going on thanks to you.
Hi! Lovely hair and I adore the accent =) I have a few questions, 1. Using the design you just drew, about how much more use will you get from your pink pen do you think? 2. If I want to transfer names of my grandsons onto t shirts, will I reverse the design for printing? Probably a no brainer there but I have yet to use this method. 3. regular copy paper really? Cool! Thanks so much
The reason they want you to use the laser paper is because it does not absorb the inks and bleed through...plus, when you lift that paper up there should be little to no ink left on the paper.
Great video. I am interested in buying a cricut explorer air 2. Can you use multiple colors in a project. Can You Use Infusible Ink Markers or pens on Wood
Do you have any advice on the amount of usage that you can get out of a single pen? About how many of those coasters could you expect to ink out of one pen? Also, can you change pens while creating one design for a multi-colored design?
Forgive me if this is a stupid question but... you just use regular copy paper? That's amazing if so but a little hard to believe so maybe I missed something lol
How long do the markers last? I just got my maker and haven't used it yet. I'm getting ideas and learning how design space works before I decide what do start with.
I know this old but was wondering if you can use 100% polyester ribbon to use with fusible ink? Do you think you can do a video doing it? If this would work on 100% polyester ribbon that would be so great to make custom ribbon. Wanted to do green with black infusible ink
Marie, I tested on 100% polyester blanket binding with both the infusible ink sheets and the fine tip markers, and they both worked great. The infusible ink sheet made a more solid black on the white binding, but they both still worked fine. I would test a small scrap to make sure your ribbon can withstand that duration of high heat from the heat press. I tested several different lengths of time, and found the image came out better with a longer time than recommended; but the blanket binding did not melt for me. Polyester ribbon may or may not be as heat tolerant.
Michael’s is not in every country, I suggest providing links or stockists outside USA as it can be annoying trying to find the products. It would be extremely helpful if you could suggest other brands that are OK as it can be scary spending money on these items when you can’t buy the Cricut branded item due to it being unavailable in your country.
Hi... The infusable ink products need to be used with special "sublimation" blanks... I know she just says "ceramic" but she is using the Cricut ceramic coasters which are designed for infusable ink. The item has to have a special polyester coating for the ink to fuse with... so a cotton fabric won't work either... needs to be polyester. It really is amazing when you get it to work. Have done the coaters and shirts and the way it becomes one with the surface is amazing! Hope that helps. 😊
Would a mini circuit press do the job or does it have to be easy press? Also is it a must to use butcher paper? I’m from England not sure where to find it. Thank you your video has been very informative:)
Can you color with the markers then press onto something like a tote bag or shirt? Can you use a different type of shirt made of the some product? Is 100% polyester, blends, cotton, what makes so special?
I am trying to find an alternative to buying a bunch of labels for the things I make. Will this ink fuse onto a double brush poly fabric and not seep all the way through? Before I go out and buy the pens and all?
I don't own a Cricut (yet) but the project looks super. About how much does it cost to do a project like this? Say 4 coasters, pen. And how fast do you go through a pen or pen set?
The pens should last you a while, i've had a set of pens (non-cricut) for over a year and they are still going; cost can vary but once you have the pens (14.99) you can use so many substrates and thats your only consumable cost
It's interesting and completely nonintuitive that you would perform the press with the coaster facing DOWNWARD onto the pattern...having the ink sublimate against gravity...
The heaviest parts are the coaster and the press, so it appears maximum, natural weight, is being applied here. As for the heat, it's conducted through the coaster long enough for the sublimation process to be completed.
@Hedgehog Hollow I have seen other crafters have the ink and coasters face up and the butcher paper then the Cricut press. Does it matter if it is the sandwich you did or the other way?
this is the cricut recommended sandwich and takes longer heating, it also depend on cork or ceramic coaster for the sandwich. There's other options and ways; for the video i stuck to the 'recommended' but hacks are incoming!
I do love Cricut products but, I will NEVER buy Cricut merchandise from there website ever again! I bought the Joy, Cricut maker 3 and the mug press bundle I had to wait, and still waiting for some of my stuff. And to top it off, it all came separate! I must’ve received at least 11 boxes. 🤬 But with being said, I do love this tutorial!! I haven’t used my pens yet so now I know I can just use regular copy paper! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
This all is Greek to me! Totally knowledgeless so my question is, can I draw directly on the project then iron or does it need to be drawn on paper then ironed on. I dont have any machines yet. Trying to determine if I can learn enough to make it worth the price.
Is there a way to take off the subtitles. You speak english and are easy to understand the subtitles are in english and get in the way. I'd rather watch you without subtitles.
I am amazed that regular printing paper works. I am a newbie at this, can't wait to try it.

Thank you for sharing that was very easy to follow and I am not so worried about doing colouring the pictures for infusible ink now
So you don't put the piece of paper with the sub ink on it on TOP of the item and then put the heat press on top of that?
I normally add a cut circle behind so it cuts the circle for you and makes it easier to tape it to the coaster.
Can the drawn design for the coasters be used a second time on another coaster or substrate or is it a one time use per drawing?
What happens if you don't have the Cricut iron? Can this still be done with a regular iron?

Hi, do you have any videos with Infusible ink pens transferred to a T-shirt?
Can you use infusible ink pen like a fabric maker on a color your own shirt.withiut using machine
Wow this was super helpful all the way around. She showed every detail step by step. I'm super grateful for this. 💓😀
Thank you for this tutorial. Awesome! I was wondering if you can use the infusible ink pens on acrylic blanks?
Hi! Lovely hair and I adore the accent =) I have a few questions,

Can you get the Cricut design studio software to color in your object for your coaster?
Do you know how to turn your own image that was created in canvas to be able to use in fusible ink
So there is no other materials you can use infusible ink on ? I have some but didn't want to have to buy just what Cricket has to sell
SOOOO cool! Thank you thank you!!! I can't wait to try this!!
Am I able to reuse the drawing?
How do you use in fusible ink pens on mugs
Great video. I am interested in buying a cricut explorer air 2. Can you use multiple colors in a project. Can You Use Infusible Ink Markers or pens on Wood
Copy paper question, is this just plain paper? Thanks
Copy paper or printer paper is recommend because it's heat resistant as it's designed to go through a printer or a copier.
Thank god 😂 I only have normal printer paper so you have made my day
I love this. Tho what kind of paper to use? Thank you
Do you have any advice on the amount of usage that you can get out of a single pen? About how many of those coasters could you expect to ink out of one pen? Also, can you change pens while creating one design for a multi-colored design?
i would also like to know about being able to switch pens for a multi colored design
i would guess you would use the layer feature and make a different layer for each color
You always look like a ray of sunshine!! I love your videos :-)
Forgive me if this is a stupid question but... you just use regular copy paper? That's amazing if so but a little hard to believe so maybe I missed something lol
Is butcher paper the same as freezer paper or parchment paper?😊
How long do the markers last? I just got my maker and haven't used it yet. I'm getting ideas and learning how design space works before I decide what do start with.
I bought markers in November 2019 and am just using them. I store with the tips pointing downwards.
What kind of tablet are you using? It looks like something I would like!
I hear the marker click when I put it in, but it does not reach the paper. How can I fix this issue
?
Nice videos, I was wondering if it is possible to do this on a glass mirror or will the mirror break from the heat ?
Can you choose to color different parts of the design in different colors using the Cricut?
Yes.
what type of paper did you use?
Really good video. You have me inspired to try this...
would be helpful if we saw your screen & seeing what you are doing on the screen & program...
This is an outstanding instuctional video! Thank you!
Do they make white infusible Ink??? I can't seem to find it any where?
Can I use colored(brown ) butcher paper?
I know this old but was wondering if you can use 100% polyester ribbon to use with fusible ink? Do you think you can do a video doing it? If this would work on 100% polyester ribbon that would be so great to make custom ribbon. Wanted to do green with black infusible ink

Can I draw straight onto the coaster?
When I keep using the ink after heat setting it keeping coming off when is it prement

Hi, I'm a leather crafter and was wondering if infusible ink would work on white or very light colored leather?
I tried this with no luck. i tried wood and ceramic tile.. 400for temp and 15sec for both.....did not transfer and copy paper for both..
Hi... The infusable ink products need to be used with special "sublimation" blanks... I know she just says "ceramic" but she is using the Cricut ceramic coasters which are designed for infusable ink. Can this be done with an iron, rather than an easy press?
What if you don’t have a heat press? Should I get one?
Can you do a multi color print then apply it all at once?
Hello Tim. Yes whatever you draw on the paper will transfer over together
Would a mini circuit press do the job or does it have to be easy press? Also is it a must to use butcher paper? I’m from England not sure where to find it. Thank you your video has been very informative:)
What paper are you using to draw with the markers on?
Can you color with the markers then press onto something like a tote bag or shirt? Can you use a different type of shirt made of the some product? Is 100% polyester, blends, cotton, what makes so special?
Polyester mix is OK too, anything 60% and above is best
can you do a video of using those pens in the brother scanncut?
Am I able to write right on the shirt with the markers?
You can use regular printer paper?
Where can I find butchers paper in the uk?
I am trying to find an alternative to buying a bunch of labels for the things I make. Will this ink fuse onto a double brush poly fabric and not seep all the way through? Before I go out and buy the pens and all?
It will
Thank you so much appreciate the video very easy to understand, can't wait to try.
Can you use the printer paper when doing fabric as well? If so, this is the best hack ever!
I seen a tiktoker do it on printer paper and heatpressing it onto blank polyester 😊
Yes you can! Just make sure if it’s a T-shirt it’s a minimum 60% polyester
Not sure about other materials though
Very helpful thanks!!!
what is the font for your hedge hod hollow words
You’re amazing! Thank you for sharing
can you just draw image free-hand on paper and iron on to cloth...as in a shirt or such?
Yep. But why not get fabric pens instead unless, of course, you want to do both.
@@TheKazadoodle -these were marked down at Michaels and I did not know they had a machine.
@@creativevirgo12 Ah, fair enough. I think they would easily work on paper doing it freehand.
Is it a regular copy paper or is it a glossy one ?
Did you just use regular printer paper?
?
Laser printer paper
Awesome tutorial! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with us!!!
Mind blown!!!!
Can you use cardstock
What kinda paper did she use
Oh my God where did you get the tape holder
just look up narwhal tape dispenser - I found several on Amazon.
What a thorough and super informative video! Everything I was wanting to know. Thanks so much. New subbie for sure. 😘
You were so amazing keep up the good work
Love your shoe
Super helpful! Thank you!
'Wow, love it.

Thank you for time sweet young lady, blessings & hugs!!!
THANKS
can the pens be refilled
Hi, I'm new here, can someone tell me what paper is used to transfer the ink from the pens? Thanks a lot
Laser copy paper. You need that one because it’s high heat resistant. Hope that helps :)
where did you get your cute resistant tape holder?
It's interesting and completely nonintuitive that you would perform the press with the coaster facing DOWNWARD onto the pattern...having the ink sublimate against gravity...

Just buy fabric markers or ceramic markers. No need for a machine if you want to free hand it.
Wonderful thank you
Thanks so much.
it really would've been nice if the camera showed us what you was doing on the tablet
First time seeing your videos. New sub
Does infusible ink for ceramics all need 400 degrees? Does that mean anyone without the easypress 2 can’t do coasters? 😕😡
You can use a dry iron or heat press too, you can also try the easy press 1 but they say for best results to use the 2
Thank you, thank you!!!!!
Is there a way to take off the subtitles. You speak english and are easy to understand the subtitles are in english and get in the way. I'd rather watch you without subtitles.
Never Mind I figured it out LOL You are great thanks
She talk too much.
Could I use this exact method for clothing items or would I need to use something other then regular printer paper?
