    Beautiful specimen and playing, Mark! Hey Jen, the best sound angle for acoustic guitars is your mic (camera) positioned roughly in front of the 12th fret and looking towards the soundhole. It's actually a really good lesson in mic placement, watching you shoot these, and all the different sounds that come out based on where you are. Definitely keep moving around, I realize you're featuring the guitar visually just as much as sonically, but try to get on Mark's left side a bit more. (Stage right. ;) ) You do it here at 7:30 when he starts playing Pinball Wizard and the guitar sound suddenly jumps out, like we usually (but not always, there are no rules) want. :)
    Cheers kids.

      Ever read the microwave cooking instructions for those things? Cook for 3 seconds, then wait to cool before eating. 3 whole seconds, and they expect it to be hot enough that you have to wait for it to cool? And why would you put one in the microwave, if you wanted it cooled anyway? Crazy.

    @MrErdner 6 років тому

    OK, I get it. You're in the business of selling vintage guitars that are rare because they're in excellent condition. And, you want to push high-dollar, high-end guitars that you can sell. That makes perfect sense. Esoteric old things in beat up shape aren't what Norm's Rare Guitars is all about. BUT (And that's a big, big butt, not unlike Kim Kardashian's rear end) Norm himself, the guy whose name is on the store, posted a video on March 24, just a little less than a month ago, titled "Too Many Arch Tops at Norman's Rare Guitars". In the first 40 seconds of the video, he pointed out over half a dozen vintage, rare Epiphone and D'Angelico acoustic archtops that looked gorgeous. They looked easily in as great condition as this J-200N. Would it kill you to devote on lousy Friday to just one of those magnificent rare vintage Archtops that Norm talked about in his video? Wouldn't they have as good a chance of being bought for big bucks as this J-200N? Ask Norm, I'm sure he knows where he has those archtops stored. And check out this video ua-cam.com/video/R280K9jY4wc/v-deo.html
