You're my favorite react channel, man. You know how to really absorb the music and listen to it like you're trying to make it a part of you. Much respect.
John Jackson also so awesome how this guy rewinds a little whenever he reacts to a particularly great part so as not to interrupt the flow of the song. Not everyone does that.
This song is so beautiful, gosh. Great choice, great reaction. Subbed. Pantera is legendary, this was one of the first songs I listened to by them. I ADORE Dimebag. 🤘🏻 This song really shows off Phil's vocal range and power.
This makes me wish I could hear this for the first time again. . There are more technical players ..faster players ..ect ...but NO ONE could make me feel music like Dime . Truly one of the coolest most down to earth genuine dudes as well.
Omg remember when it showed the cameraman and he was all fumbling with his camera to try and take pictures like wtf! That breakdown almost makes my spirit jump out of my body! And the fists pumping in the crowd!
I could literally see the emotions on your face as the song played, it is a very touching song that hits you deep in your soul and that's what it was meant to be and it does just that. I'm glad you had such a good reaction to such a wonderful song and fantastic band that sad to say is no more because they broke up and also because both the guitarist and drummer are dead now and they were brothers. Thank you for submitting this video.🤘
This was my late brother's favorite song. We used to listen to music together, and break it down. It always gives me fond memories when I listen to it.
R.I.P. DIMEBAG DARRELL!!! MAD RESPECT King KTF for doing Pantera thus is my absolute favorite band of all time. And DIMEBAG is a huge inspiration to me, he is the whole reason I ever picked up a guitar. Anyways awesome vids man I like your reaction vids cause their genuine and honest. Keep em coming brother and would love to see some more Pantera
saw pantera back in 1996 in western australia, such an awesome concert, the band really has fun onstage and interacts with the crowd, and of course a brutal mosh pit
Dimebag was one of The most respected looked up to guitarists of the 90s & even up till now hes STILL a big name & admired for his playing & music .........and BTW- The guitarist you hear there (Dimebag) never lost his head & coolness even though he was bigtime. He was still street level freindly to everybody wheather its a little kid or an old lady or a diehard fan he was just a cool laidback dude that LOVED to play.
I love a person who feels the music. Dimebag was one of the best. Vinnie was one of the best in metal. R.I.P Abbott brothers. You should listen to This Love or Hollow. Peace.
There are no barriers if people like you didn’t talk about them. You saying that is making any “conditioned barriers” worse if there were any, and spawning them in when they didn’t exist before. You are the one causing them
I don't prefer reaction videos too much, but your vid and the reaction was extraordinary. The fact that you put a Godlike song and understood its flavors was real to me.
I have watched so many of your reaction videos with metal music and am LOVING it. It gives me, as a metal fan, fresh perspective on songs I’ve heard hundreds of times. Thank you for that!!!
I've only found your channel recently, been binging on your Eminem videos after seeing him last week. Keep it up man! Glad you enjoyed this song, Pantera are really one of the greats.
hipeanut a lot of people don't realize that Pantera has a lot of grooves, and Phil practically raps on a lot of the songs. This is why hip hop heads are picking up on Pantera, because guys who listened to both are picking out the right songs for them. Sadly, too many fans are suggesting thrash and other styles that are pointless and selfish suggestions to bridge the gap, and it simply won't work. I keep telling metal heads to listen to groups like Eric B and Rakim, Onyx, and Wu-tang if they want gritty, grimy and aggresive rapping, but people keep suggesting songs that turn people off. My metal head friends end up digging Rakim and groups like Wu-Tang. They seem to also like Redman, and even KRS-ONE
Bruuhhh. It's hard to describe the feeling I get when watching it click with you and other reviewers. You are by far the most entertaining because you get it. And you like it. It's like watching a baby's first steps. I do believe that you too will be metal head. Rock on, man. I'm glad you're getting into metal. For more Pantera, check out A New Level. May I also suggest PIRATE METAL: Shipwrecked by Alestorm.
I’m 43 yrs old and have been to A LOT of concerts and still to date when I saw Pantera at the Roxy Theater ( small club ) in Atlanta GA back on Friday November 22nd 1991 on Cowboys from Hell tour before they were famous was the best show ever ! I’ve never been a mosh pit guy but damn I was that night, I had a white shirt on and I remember having blood stains all over it after concert. Was because everybody had carpet burns on knees and elbows from mosh pit.
Cheers from Texas brutha! I’ve following you for a bit and as a fellow guitar player I’m very happy to see someone else realize and relish the sheer artistry and mastery that these guys display. Tapping the soul as you’ve stated is soo true. Keep up the great reactions and colorful commentary. I’ll be sending requests soon. Cheers!!
Love from Florida, I watch you everyday man. Thanks for taking time out of your life to make entertainment for me. I just want to thank you man. Listening to you while I clean my apartment.
I love watching people discover music I've listened to for years. It makes me think back to when *I* heard these songs for the first time and gets me excited to hear them again ❤
Dimebag Darell, Dave Mustaine and Chuck Schuldiner are 3 of the greatest all-round guitarists and song-writers in the world of metal. The gods and forefathers of 3 different styles of metal, and 2 of them are no longer with us. Pantera put the 'H' in HEAVY METAL. You GOTTA check out 'Good Mourning Black Friday' by Megadeth, has an intro with a similar style to Cemetary Gates with some of the most soulful solos you will ever listen to. The only difference is it transitions into something you would NEVER picture the song to head towards at the beginning.
+2682shark *Marty is a better guitarist than Dave* ----> Solos ? OF COURSE. Rhythms ? Not at all. And Marty has never written an entire album of masterpieces all by himself. I was talking about *ALL ROUND GUITARISTS AND SONG-WRITERS* a.k.a people who are phenomenal at all aspects of both departments. *James is a better song writer than Dave* ----> I would like you to come back after James writes an entire masterpiece of an album all by himself. James hardly ever writes an entire song all by himself, much less a whole album from start to finish like Dave does. Dave writes WAY more material to Megadeth than James ever did for Tallica. Also, you again missed *ALL ROUND GUITARISTS AND SONG-WRITERS* . Dave is a better guitarist overall than James, that should be as obvious as 1 + 1 = 2.
+Mantra Robinson James is a great riff-writer, but Dave is just better than him IMO in everything ( song-writing, general musicianship and guitar playing of course ) except for vocals. James has hardly ever written an entire song without help from Lars. Even Cliff used to write a lot of epic riffs for Metallica back then.
Sainandan Ramakrishnan James is just writes better songs than Dave.. sorry.. sure Dave may be better technically but imo James writes better riffs and songs... obviously not solos
R.I.P DIME, and I felt that was a genuine reaction. Its good to see hip hop heads broadening their mind with different genres of music and culture.I love rap and some songs move me but I can be moved by all genres of music if the artist has talent.
I find myself appreciating so much how much you appreciate it. Keep exploring what I grew up with it was awesome. Being a low middle class kid expected to succeed in life, hard work was a must, so this music was a release valve to get out the stresses of the grind. And it worked
This Love, Pantera. Great southern trendkill.. Damage Plan, Super joint Ritual and Phil's other band Down.. and members from downs band Corrosion of Conformity.
Great reaction, duder. My favorite bit was that little side-eye you did during the outro when Phil started wailing and Dimebag would match pitch with the guitar.
I'm hoping you keep reacting to heavy metal songs man. You're really fun to watch in your reactions. It's like you're discovering a whole different life to music, which is what music is supposed to be. The man who wrote the guitar in this song and played this LEGENDARY guitar solo is named Dimebag Darrell and he sadly was murdered during a live performance by a crazed fan. It's crazy. Keep doing you though man!
Honestly dont know how I got to your channel but I love watching these songs with you almost a concert like experience where were both experiencing the song as a group
Those end notes where Phils screaming " Gates" and Dimes harmonics to match them, Chills every fucking time. Especially on that last harmonic that ends the song, you actually feel it. Goddamn.
I second your opinion Robert. DD is the greatest metal lead guitarist of all-time. There is a lot of good ones but Dime sets the standard with heavy and fast. Pure genius.
Dude!, I love when you pause to " bring it back", I laugh everytime because I LOVE THAT YOU GET IT!!, Pantera is my fav metal band, I met Dimebag twice the year he was killed. Thank you for appreciating. I can't get shit done at home cuz I'm glued to your reaction videos, You're the shit Preston and easy on the eyes to boot. God Bless you.
Dude, don't be like "i'm sorry" at certain parts you wanna rewind on this song. Anyone watching YOU watch THIS song knows exactly why you're doing so and would do the exact same thing lol. Love the reactions. Cheers.
I started listening PANTERA 25 years ago I was 16. I saw them as my first concert at Québec city couple years later during their Mouth for war tour. I was in love with their beat without understanding the lyrics cause I didnt speak english at that time. The day I begin to understand the language was like a rebirth for me. Its really entertaining to see you react to all those band I love. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Decrepo_JoneZ it's so close between floods and the sleep for me on the solos . I feel like he'd go crazy af over both . Overall I think the sleep is the better song but the solos are too damn close to call

Kork Wahmett Phil sounds amazing on this song.
Tonya Hartnell it's really one of his strongest pieces
Kork, that was a badass comment
This was Phil at his best. Before he destroyed himself with drugs
You seem to have genuine passion for music.
This makes me wish I could hear this for the first time again. . There are more technical players ..faster players ..ect ...but NO ONE could make me feel music like Dime . Truly one of the coolest most down to earth genuine dudes as well.

Pantera is from my town. Arlington/Fort Worth Texas 💪🏻

Synyster Goose I would buy that.
Pantera- Cowboys from Hell, Mouth For War, This Love
Rostislav Kunchev This love would be best out of this group
Yeah, for our boy Preston it would be the best choice
Rostislav Kunchev that and their cover of Planet Caravan I can see him really liking
I agree, but still there is a lot of Metallica he has to discover, which to me is the most important band to know
Rostislav Kunchev they are but there are many other bands like Pantra, Sabbath and maybe Led Zep and Pink Floyd he should here as well
Love from Florida, I watch you everyday man. Thanks for taking time out of your life to make entertainment for me. I just want to thank you man. Listening to you while I clean my apartment.

I love your reactions. Pantera are my favourite band ever. I been wearing their t shirts with pride for 20 years now. 🤘🏼💚🤘🏼
Yeah please do Pantera - Hollow it's more like this one
One of my favorite Pantera songs! They had the magic at one point in the career
Pantera - This Love is right down your street.
I find myself appreciating so much how much you appreciate it. Keep exploring what I grew up with it was awesome. Being a low middle class kid expected to succeed in life, hard work was a must, so this music was a release valve to get out the stresses of the grind.
And it worked
just came to the realization that this may be the best/most complete metal song ever... literally has everything

6:48- 7:45 is pure goosebumps
Honestly dont know how I got to your channel but I love watching these songs with you almost a concert like experience where were both experiencing the song as a group
Hollow by Pantera, you won't regret it.
Those end notes where Phils screaming " Gates" and Dimes harmonics to match them, Chills every fucking time. Especially on that last harmonic that ends the song, you actually feel it. Goddamn.
"Cemetery Gates" is on a whole different level! Pantera is okay, but this was a showcase, masterpiece of theirs -- and Metal music, in general.
John Green Pantera is ok?? Pantera is the best metal band ever! Maybe you should check out more than the two songs your buddies made you listen to.
Been a musician probably longer than you have been alive, bud. If there is a Metal song made, I have heard it -- and probably know how to play it.
I second your opinion Robert. DD is the greatest metal lead guitarist of all-time. There is a lot of good ones but Dime sets the standard with heavy and fast. Pure genius.
Dime Bag was good, but there are many that were FAT better -- namely Randy Rhodes.
@@johndeeregreen4592 Disagree. Randy did not live long enough to show he is greater than Dime IMHO. Sorry.

krc306 they saved metal and hiphop respectively
Hasta Coronas_Mexicub and nickleback saved metal
General Daniel lol!
@@daniel_cfh2783 hip hop would have never had to be saved if people listenend to good music.

Decrepo_JoneZ it's so close between floods and the sleep for me on the solos . I feel like he'd go crazy af over both . Overall I think the sleep is the better song but the solos are too damn close to call
william montroy agreed. the sleep goes hard. That intro too. One of my favorite pantera tracks for sure
