- Ever wonder what a 55 year old wiring harness looks like? Time to replace the 1969 Mustang Mach 1 Tail Light Harness! In this video I go through a step by step of removal of the old harness and installation of the new concours harness which was purchased from National Parts Depot.

Wow!!… THAT video brought my attention and motivation back for these electrical stuff (which i really do not like very much since i have zero knowledge in this area). i will now check where i can get this harness and follow your advice. How did you get the two connectors through that small passage way at the front end of the sill ?
I used one of those small parts pickup tools. One of those long ones that is flexible that expands when you push on one end. I got that through, then put the wires in it and pulled. Was a pain but much easier with the kick panels off.
How long did it take? Is the factory style wire cover good enough or should it have some additional wire loom?
I felt comfortable with the factory style wire cover. I did run my hands around where it was run to ensure there was nothing sharp around it. It took me about 5-6 hours to do. Most of the time was spent taking apart the inner panels.
Nobody films videos on what the diagram is like. I need the color of the wires and what they go to.
