“They’re a little bit tasteless ... just because I’m wary of other people’s health” HAHAHAHA
Never knew Roast Potatoes and Health went together 😂 made me laugh too
@@TJWhiteStar I think they meant they didn’t cook them in animal fat, because of people’s health, so they use olive oil
God bless , Jesus loves you and died for you all
@@TJWhiteStar iidizuihgx
yes people dont use dripping or fat as much nowadays
These mums were toooo nice that the producers had to instigate 😂😂

English mums are so polite. 😊
Manners cost nothing but if I complained about my dinner my mum would tell me to fuck off
@@bcfromse hahaha 😂
@@bcfromse To be honest I enjoy English mum more than other moms. The only thing the other moms do is praise their own food and talk sh$t about other ones . They don't even chew it and spit the food out.

It looks a little... a bit longer than I would cook 😂😭

At all. Taste buds just bland af smh

Even when they are critical, they still appreciate the efforts and give some credit. Patty is my favorite. "You're homemade aren't you? Yes you are"
I love how polite all of the English mums are - so many other similar videos, the mothers seem to try to rip each other down before anyone has tried anyone’s food, however, these ladies refuse to say anything bad about the other mother’s cooking.
the english are scrupulously polite to their enemies.
Hey just letting you know English is an ethnicity, it's a white ethnicity. English people are white. What you mean with this video is "British" British is the nationality that anyone can get hence why you have "Black British" "Asian British" Please don't try and erase a whole people's ethnic identity. You can fact check this on the government website.
@@b.b.4969 What? British is just a more vague word that can be used. British could mean any of 4 countries. English is just to say they are from the country of England, within the British Isles. Its anyone from England of any race. Don't gatekeep an identity that belongs to almost 56 million people lol.
@@b.b.4969 baby it's not that deep you know what they meant LMFAO most of the viewers aren't british so they'd miss nuances like being english vs being british lol
@@shork1847 Lmao talk about confidently incorrect. You can fact check me on the government website. English is an ethnicity that falls under the white race. The English people. Its an ethnic group with a specific phenotype just like every ethnic group in the world has. Not all white people are English, but all English people are white. British is the nationality and made up of the ethnicities of the British Isles - Welsh, Scottish, English and Irish. These are also ethnicities and a distinct people with their own unique markers. Only recently with the advent of multiculturalism and globalism has "British" been extended to mean anyone who moved there within the last 50 or so years. You are confusing the concept of British citizenship with the actual native/ethnic people of the British Isles.
I love patty! I would like to thank my mother for the way she brought me up 😂
same tho and her cooking looks good
I love her too, so posh, refined and dramatic lol
this was actually the nicest taste test challenge! I have never seen anyone finish another competitors dish!
So refreshing to see!
this is the u.k. you finish whats on your plate.
@@andrewhenry3760 lol
She wins everything. I think I'll be over at Anne's for dinner
I dont know why but everytime the 'nice' meter chimed, I couldn't stop laughing. So silly but soooo good 😆
I like how they took their time to enjoy the food instead of tear down each other
These English women aren’t catty . I like that
Just letting you know for future reference: English is an ethnicity, it's a white ethnicity. English people are white. “it’s a little bit mature the potato” ?? she wouldn’t serve an expired potato??
I like the fact that they were all respectful instead of the usual videos where they don't even taste if it looks weird or different and criticize so much..
Patty is the cutest woman ever! What a blessing
i think out of these moms, Annie definitely got the best of the cooking.
I love how they’re so nice even when offering criticism it’s so nice lmfaooo
I like my roast potato seasoned with rosemary garlic and thyme, the taste great🥔🧄
ooh, that's nice, I thought I was the only one that did that haha
@@oogleyb2683 Basically everyone does that, lol… It’s a pretty standard flavour combination for roast potatoes 😛
That's how my mum does it. She puts big chunks of onion, whole garlic cloves and carrot in the tray with the potatoes and fresh herbs. Deeeelicious.
@@shork1847 hmm the problem with onion is is that it's got a lot of water in and may make your spuds less crunchy.
It’s Patty’s potato’s for me
For me too 🌻
Love Patty! She’s so vibrant!
Most important questions:
• How can we solve World Hunger?
• What is in the afterlife?
• Was the apple crumble nice?
I like Anne the best. She's a good laugh for sure, and makes the best food
The blonde as she shovels in an entire half of a serving spoon full of apple crumble, "It's just not ummm a standard apple crumble." Give me a break lol.
Chilli in gravy 😂 we love to see it
Actually sounds pretty awesome to me. Spicy gravy on potatoes. Hmmmmmm
@@bo2720 you need to try it, you’d love it 🤌🏽
Am I the only one who peeped they was counting the amount of times they Anne said nice😂😂
Everyone of them, actually

I want Patty to narrate a children’s book
So polite, so different from us Americans, lol.
I love all of them so much but Patty the best, she loves thyme as much as I do!
Same😅
This is still my favourite episode from this series.
I love how polite and well spoken they all are
Thereasa:"think she could've done 10 minutes of cooking"
Also her: Its really well cooked"
Haha the nice meter had me 😂 we do say it a lot, although in school we’re taught to always try and use another word instead of “nice”
I love these moms so polite all of their food looks good and gives HONEST opinions finally a real rating!
I've never noticed how much I say nice till I watched this
They‘re actually pretty nice towards each others foods. I‘ve seen some moms being pretty rude and complaining about everything that‘s not theirs
These might be the only mums that are polite and all give honest and fair reviews
Whoever made the side notes is shady and I live for it 😂🤣
i love Patty's way of saying potato
Compare to other contestants and mom's these are most humble and positive about other moms dishes..they are not criticizing unnecessarily
These three ladies, together with the three Italian ladies are the most diplomatic "competitors" in this entire "mums and aunties try each other's signature dishes" series. :-D
Best potatoes gotta be the lady in blue, Anne. Look at that golden outside 😍 gravy though... lumpy
Also, what's the point in putting thyme on top of the potatoes?
The thyme is there because a lot of people (including me) love the flavour that it gives.

I was wondering the same thing. A sprig of thyme like that (stem and all) probably wouldn’t be eaten by anyone. It didn’t even look cooked.
Ok now these moms were so nice to watch! Even when they had something to say it was in a nice way. The other ones make me so mad at how rude they are. I loved this one thank you finally 💯❤️
I swear I love hearing English people talk. They sound so proper. It doesn't even matter what they're saying. They just sound so polite and proper.
I would love to have dinner at Anne's House. She cooks so well and seems lovely too.
"I like to have gravy in the middle...fill the hole there...I like a lot of gravy actually"
-Thereasa-
My white grandpa was from Yorkshire, came to Brooklyn when he was about 16 on a ship. I remember he used to make "Yorkie puds" whenever they had a roast. Good times.
These moms are so sweet to each other!!! I much prefer this.
Crispy potatoes are the best you can get
Bless, the English have manners.
I use salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme and chicken stock in the baking dish then roast for 1 hour, then take them out add melted butter and olive oil. I put it back in the oven for another 45 minutes, they come out tender inside and crisp outside.
Overdone with the time... And the stock would burn... That's more braise than toast too
Roast*
Please don't cook olive oil or butter at high temps for a long time. That creates bitterness and burned flavours and aromas.
Protect Patty at all costs 😭
If I had to pick, Anne's looked REALLY good, I think my potatoes would beat all of them though ;)
They are just so kind and polite compared to tasting videos from other countries. Loved this.
It was a delight seeing how friendly these moms where.
what in the Hertfordshire did I just watch? I love it.
I love Patty! She's so cute
They said nice so many times, I forgot the meaning of it for a sec lmao.
anne sounds like a lovely person to be around
Patty really love her seasonings
This nice count was cracking me up! 🤣🤣🤣
All the moms were so sweet
Praising yourself in a polite way, isn't rude! Congrats!!
So funny how they say nice, nice, nice, nice, 😂
They're just so nice they couldn't help express themselves. They make honesty look easy. First time in a while I saw higher than 12/20😂😂.
I ❤️ patty 😂😂
So respectful, I love it 🥰
Everyone is so nice here. Its NICE and warm and comforting in here :)
Really liked how Patty enjoyed her food👍🏼 good ladies
"I could use a little spice in my gravy"
Oh my god y'all casted the wrong sista💀
English people are much respectful
What I have learnt from this is Anne is a culinary queen 🤩
They must be the only three English moms in the UK
I know right lol
They need someone from the north
