The correct way would be to start turning after about half your vehicle passes the middle line of the road you're turning into, almost like a 90 degree angle turn. No one actually turns like that after getting the license, though. Still, it's accidents like this that show why it's considered the correct way.

This mght be very subjective, but does anyone have any suggestions for a good dashcam? I love watching these videos and it's time I finally invest in one
You can start today if you have a cell phone mount on your dash or a hang mount on your rear view mirror. Several phone apps streamline shooting video to act as a makeshift dashcam. You could do that right away while you research. I wouldn't recommend it long term though, when I've had to do it before (like renting or borrowing a car), filming video on a cell eats the battery like crazy. It's a temp solution at best. Don't really have a recommendation though. Not a fan of my current cam and have my eyes open for a replacement.

7:00 Illegal as hell. How does he get away with that? Surely a cop can see him a mile away.
2:52 Now it was the other car's fault 100% for sure but... no blinker to be heard - a blinker would have definitely prevented that accident and that's exactly why it is required by law to be always used. The driver at fault clearly thought the cammer would go straight. It is very improbable that he would have thought that if the cammer had used a blinker.
If a dashcam or other evidence proves you’re lying it should count as a point on your record.
0:41 cammer was speeding in a residential neighborhood. If collided, the cammer will have some degree of fault
6:36- UNSAFE BACKING 😡🤬! The Cammer has the right of way; he/she is traveling in the traffic lane. Drivers who intend to reverse into the flow of traffic MUST YIELD TO ONCOMING TRAFFIC BY LOOKING LEFT ⬅️, THEN RIGHT ▶️, THEN LEFT AGAIN, AND COMPLETE THE REVERSAL WHEN ITS SAFE ✅! The driver reversing is clearly at fault 🤬!
2:55 Well... OP started his turn to early as if that other car wasn't even there. The other car may not have even moved. As for the diminished value, it had already diminished by about 60% the moment he left the dealer.
6:10 Fog = SLOW down. OP should have driven a bit slower. Those two didn't slow down enough.
6:55 When getting out of a parking space, it's your duty and obligation to make sure that you can do it safely. Karen just ignored that.
At least the bumper stickers survived; they’ll tell the next owner my life story.
1:22 What????? I know there was a deer on the road but it was HELLA far away! Why the freakout? Why start swerving instead of slowing down??
1:40 one time I was driving home and I live in a back country/mountain road, and I was coming around a long turn about 45 mph and a deer ran out and when I hit my brakes the abs malfunctioned and both rear brakes locked up and the back end slid around and I rolled 3 times and was ejected from the truck
2:50 Viking spotted
Horn stuck mate
What the hell happened at 1:20? Was that deer holding a gun? Did the driver not know deer exist? He had enough time to take a nap before that got anywhere close to the vehicle. I've made fun of people taking forever and a day to react, but massively overreacting is just as bad.
The VIOFO A119 Mini 2 isn't a bad place to start, and the A229 Plus is a step up with a rear camera as well.
1:28 You weren’t even close to the deer!
