    I have a 2020 Ranger Crew 1000 EPS. I did not see a reverse light connector on mine. The muffler is where you mounted your reverse light. We mounted lights up high on the back. I just bought two 6" wide LEDs and made my own wiring harness. We mounted them in screw holes that mount the roof. We also ran the wires under the floorboard in the channels and came up in the rear diagonal supports for the roll cage.

      Nice! My muffler is not on the back so it worked out great for me. Also check out my video on the beacon light. Its one of my favorite mods. Thanks for watching!

    yeah i need to work on the 4 inch light at the top back of the cab too, but i ordered wire today. i don't understand how you routed that wire. i already have mine mounted on the two outside holes. i don't need to do the back up lights as i bought the Thumper Fab winch ready rear bumper. the winch should be here by the end of the week.

      Nice! It was a pain to run the wire through the Rangers frame but I used a chase wire and it helped.

    well i'm tired of fighting the weather. and as i have to take mine in for a service and a recall, i'm going to have them install the wiring harnesses and the winch. i did fined on amazon a harness extension. it say it's 60 inches but someone commented on it and said it was 30 inches. of course i found this after i bought the wire to extend that harness.

    How did you run your wires inside the roll cage? I can't seem to get the wire to go through the tubing.

    • @UTVDIRT
      @UTVDIRT  4 роки тому

      Yes I ran them inside the cage. You have to feed a chaser wire from the top of the cage down to the bottom. Then tape your wires to the chaser wire and pull them up.

    Hey man! Love all the videos! Sad to see the ranger go! Just had a question..i purchased the same dasen back lights and pigtails for busbar! Wired the lights up and they work but the rocker switch stays on continuously! Then i wired key hot only and nothing works? Did you have to rewire anything when you wired key hot? Thanks

      Sounds like you might have a broken wire or a loose connection. If you have a meter you can check for continuity on the wires to see if you have a break in the wire. Hope this helps.

    • @UTVDIRT
      @UTVDIRT  2 роки тому

      The top wire on the plug is your ground. The middle wire is for key hot and the last wire on the plug is for constant hot. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
