    @UTV DIRT dat is a very nice and clean install, those lights are bright. It’s been so long since I’ve last drove my Northstar I can’t remember how bright the factory dome light is lol! I think 🤔 your new light kit is way brighter tho. I gotta put ah LED bulb in mine , but it’s decent for a Oem light I reckon!! Thanks for the video, I can always use extra lights, nice lights. Y’all getting awesome editing them vids!! 😬👍🏻👌

    Great job guys! I bought 2 power firefly battery powered LED puck lights on Amazon that have magnets and stick them to the metal roof frame. I know if you have the headliner it won’t work but these fit nicely and you can use them as a work light when needed. They also swivel on the mounting. When I get the power buss bar I might be wiring some of these up. Looking forward to your next install!

    I just got a ranger this past Wednesday. I'm not too familiar with electrical components. I believe you said you could have hooked it up to the buss bar? Would that be the preferred method if you are not using the machine in the winter and would remove battery for winter storage purposes?

    • @UTVDIRT
      @UTVDIRT  4 роки тому

      Yes I would rather hook it up to the busbar under the hood but all of my slots were full.

      It's under my videos tab on the channel page. It's one of the first vids I did so go to the bottom of the page.

    How do you mount the spare tire

    • @UTVDIRT
      @UTVDIRT  4 роки тому +1

      I don't have a spare tire dedicated mount but I could bungy cord it to the headache rack.

    Dumb question - how do you have all these accessories running off a single battery, with no alternator?

    • @UTVDIRT

      LEDs draw little power and I have had no issues. Check out the link and it explains how a charging system works on a UTV. Thanks for watching!

      @@UTVDIRT Oh wow, very interesting! Thanks for the link. Another question, we just got a 2019 Ranger XP 1000 Crew and shifting into any gear is pretty difficult. Did you have this when you bought yours new? I'm assuming its because it's new and needs wear in a little bit... thanks.

    • @UTVDIRT
      @UTVDIRT  4 роки тому

      No problem. Mine shifts into the different gears easy. It might need an adjustment so if it continues I would take it into the dealer.

      Jake Toolson I bought my 2019 RANGER XP 1000 CREW brand new, had it about a year and it’s always been a little difficult to shift the gear. Just make sure you’re at a dead stop before you do.
