How to diagnose kiln problems

Demonstration of a simple test to diagnose which component may be preventing the kiln from reaching temperature. This test is done on a Studio 1 kiln.

Extremely helpful. I followed the instructions. Elements 3 and 4 did not burn. Opened up the panel and found the centre relay (I have x3) was burnt out. Thank You for the info.

Do you know what cause the kiln power fail?

Not really, there could be many reasons.. Check the power from the fuse board is all good, then investigate into the kiln. If no power at the board, it is unlikely a component issue in the chamber.. check fuses in the kiln which are protecting the computer.. or maybe the computer itself..
