I very much appreciate this tutorial, best one or the only twist locs video, love it and I’m going for this tomorrow. My mother’s going to give it a go, learning thanks to you. Jah blessing your way.
So do you have a video on the retwisted of how to do them. I started my sons like that and I’m waiting on them to get nappy and been trying find a retwist of exactly how to do these
Thank god for the zooming feature causei was tryna figure out the crochet part. You go through sideways then up and down to create the loc? this is beautiful thank you for showing us.
Question, Can I use the comb twist method instead of the crochet. I know it won’t have the most secure hold or begin the “loc phase” but will it still hold enough?
I think it would be best to use comb method instead of crochet just in case you decide you want to stop locking, you can easily untwist and your hair won't be in knots.
It can be but it may take longer to loc but water helps loc loc faster. This girl on TikTok started from transitioning and then left some of the relaxed on her head and it loc gradually and she made the straight parts into curls but u can also cut them off
I want to ask what do you use the crochet hook for? Is it necessary? And why don’t you use it in the back aswell, or do you and i just missed it 😂? I just want to make sure I’m doing everything correctly when I start my locs. Very helpful video aswell
@@stylebylamsie thank you, I am starting my 4 y/o Locs next month. If there ever can a time she wanted them combed out would one method be better between coils and 2 strand or would combing out be the same regardless of starting method?
Thank you so much from watching this video I can finally get my loc journey started!
I’m so super happy to be of help
It’s so satisfying how neatly you patted ❤beautiful 🎉

My loctition started my locs this way. And I still can’t grasp the concept of this method. So when I get a retwist the loc with form as one loc?

It actually locs better this way
Hi! What products did you use? If you don’t mind me asking.
African pride loc and braid jel
@@stylebylamsie Thank you!
I want my locs just like that. What size should I tell the locticton
Take a screenshot and send to your loctician
@@stylebylamsie will do
Can this be done on relaxed hair and how long it takes to loc ? You did a great job ❤
No it can’t
it most definitely can be done on relaxed hair. it will just take a little longer to loc. i’m not sure how long tho!

Hi do you have a video on how to retwist when the style start looking bad and needs to be refreshed??
Yes
Are you just using edge control to start the locs? I wanted to do my own starter locs but I don’t know what products to use
Loc gel
@@stylebylamsiewhat brand?
Hey were the sections medium or small? Also by the way my hair is 3c - 4a how should I start my locs
Medium
Two stand twist
I love this
Thanks 😊
How long do they take to loc in this style ? And if he takes out the 2 strands will it unravel ?
4/6 months to totally loc
If he take them out immediately after it’s done it will unravel up untill the part I crocheted
Do you have a first retwist video? If not, do you just crochet the root again or do you retwist like you do with starter coils?
You just crochet the roots again
Thank you!
@Style by Lamsie for retwist can you start the palm twist method or do have to stay with the crochet method
Amazing job. 😊
Thanks 😊
Since you interlocked the roots....these can't be combed out right?
You can still take them out
Is this a good style to do on my 2 year old we are wanting to dread his hair. Should I do them this size so as his hair grows it will still look neat.
Yes 👍🏾
should i blow dry my hair out before i get it done??
Yes
Beautiful I just got a rewist
❤️
What products are you using ?
Loc and twist
I want to ask what do you use the crochet hook for? Is it necessary? And why don’t you use it in the back aswell, or do you and i just missed it 😂? I just want to make sure I’m doing everything correctly when I start my locs. Very helpful video aswell
You need to use the crochet hook everywhere on the head, it necessary so the hair can start locking from then on
Looks great!
Thanks
Thank you 😊
You are welcome 🤗
Please how long will it take to lose the twist
About 30 minutes
When starting do you have to twist to the right or is that a personal preference?
It’s a personal preference, however the greater majority of stylists twist to the right
@@stylebylamsie thank you, I am starting my 4 y/o Locs next month. If there ever can a time she wanted them combed out would one method be better between coils and 2 strand or would combing out be the same regardless of starting method?
@@briannaraleigh6347 the method you start the loc with does not matter when taking them out. It rather depends on his hair texture.
Now I can’t wait to get mine in
Yes it’s very convenient
May GOD continue to bless the work of your hands in JESUS name amen✝️🙏🏼🙌🏼‼💯
Amen
Very detail nice
Thanks so much
When it’s time to retwist do you interlock again or retiwst
Most of the time I interlock
I have a question, when his hair begins to loc, will he have thick locs?
Yes
@@stylebylamsie are his twist medium size or small?
Thank you ‼️
You are welcome 🤗
Also did you blow dry before you started ?
Yes I did
Hi what twist pattern is this? And also you never showed the front😭
Regular twist going right, I will show the front next time
Can i ask why did yu crochet the roots?
To make it tighter, it’s a reloc style😊
How many twists did you do? I'm estimating 50+
93
@@stylebylamsie so that means he will have 93 locks?
@@stylebylamsie and another question can you unravel all 93 into 2 and have those lock?
Great job
Thanks 😊
How is his locs now after a year?
It’s grown
What is the green piece your using ?
It's a crochet needle...dont know if you still needed the answer as this comment was awhile ago
Is the n0.1 style for me then box braids 💯

Therapeutic!
Hi is it ok to braid the root
It would not be two strand twist that way
Yes it’s ok I just saw a video of a loctician braiding the root then two stranding the rest

No, I always style starter Locs so they Dont shrink
Hey what gel do you use
