Omg that first one already has me angry! She wasn't even subtle about it lmao said "on my way to my friends daughter's funeral so wanted just to mention I use young living everyday AND there's a sale. Link in bio". What dafuq
And of course, recorded this video while driving and putting other people's children at risk. She should be ashamed of herself. I know these cults make people do things they usually wouldn't but this is beyond the pale.
The huns must always use any opportunity to sell their MLM. It shows the desperation behind any MLM participation as the compensation plan of their company is brutal.
Me: home alone and tossing mini marshmallows into the air and catching them in my mouth. Hannah: “basically, you are allowed to take time to do things in your life for no other reason than they just bring you happiness and enjoyment” Me: “Thanks, Hannah!”
That first clip has my blood boiling. As a mother who lost my 21-year-old daughter last year, if I had a "friend" who used my child's death to sell ANYTHING (let alone overpriced oils from a shady-as-shit mlm company) they would not be my friend anymore. That is so incredibly beyond tacky and awful.
I am so sorry. As a child I lost my older brother who was 19 at the time, and I wish my mom found help earlier then she did. That said, I know nothing about you, but I wish you to find peace with what happened. Reach out to loved ones and be patient with yourself. Grief is a motherfucker. Please take care of yourself ❤️❤️❤️
I have an explanation for the dry shampoo! I had to call in reinforcements (my dad who has a masters and worked for an oil and gas company so I’m gonna make it simple 😂). Unlike other propellants Tetraflouropropene is a fluorocarbon which means the carbons in the molecule are attached to flourine making the bond more stable but not totally unable to combust. Other propellants such as isobutane have carbon atom without stabilizing so they can and will explode, but just catch fire but explode. So in short the propellant that Monat claims to have is still flammable but not in the same environment as the other propellants used in other products. Tetrafluoroethylene can still be harmful, it can cause frostbite and is a harmful carcinogen if it is inhaled. So Monat can be set on fire, but it’s gonna take more than a tiny flame. If she wanted it to catch on fire she should have held the can over the flame. Also another nugget he told me is that the more carbons a molecule has the more combustible it is (usually. There are sometimes a few exceptions). I hope that make sense
This is a really good explanation! The only thing I'd add is that basically any aerosol propellant can cause frostbite under the right conditions because of evaporative or adiabatic cooling. The thermodynamics are a little bit complicated, but basically, as the compressed propellant turns to vapor, the pressure drop causes the temperature to drop at the same time. (This is how a refrigerator or standard air conditioning works too, except fridges capture and recompress the vapor instead of spraying on your hair or whatever. That's why an air conditioning unit has to have some connection to outside air - the back of the unit creates an greater increase in heat as it compresses the refrigerant than the decrease in heat you get inside the unit from the vaporization) Not that anyone should be super worried about frostbite from dry shampoo under normal conditions! But if you hold the spray right next to your skin, like 1/2 inch or less, and keep it on for more than a few seconds, it is a known risk.
Oh wow, that's pretty cool! My sister used to be in Monat and gave me a bunch of their products and so I've used their dry shampoo. (It's awful, leaves a white cast on the hair and makes it feel gritty and gunky.) It actually comes out of the can really forcefully, more so than any other dry shampoo I've tried, so without actually knowing the reason I assumed that was why the candle was blown out. Nice to know the real, chemical reason; thank you!
@@dahliacheung6020 In conclusion, the propellant that Monat use does not 'propel' the dry shampoo as good as the propellant used by other brands, so you have to push the can harder to make the product 'propelled' as expected, am I right? This is interesting. Initially I thought Monat use a different propellant than other brands because it is safer. But, after reading your comment, and considering a lot of complaints about how their products damage people's hair and/or scalps, I think Monat use it because it is cheaper🤔
I'm also thinking if this is a possible case of language misunderstanding + broken phone game. In many languages benzine means gas, as in the one you put in the car to ignite the engine. That's also flammable. Could be that non-flammable product = doesn't have benzine, or at least that's what the rep thinks
I just found this channel, but so far I really like it & I think it provides an excellent service. And about the strawberry foundation experiment….the only thing that the hun proved is that this cleanser can probably effectively clean facial foundation off of strawberries. I am not sure what the hun thinks the relevance of this might be, but all the people I know prefer strawberries with plain little faces, no makeup required. 😊
As an ICU nurse who is always looking at arterial blood gasses on sick patients I promise that “alkaline water” is never an order to treat your pH imbalance 🤦🏻♀️ that’s not how this works
But Hannah! If it weren’t for MLMs, how would we know what dry shampoo to use while our hair is on fire? How would we know what cleanser to use when taking makeup off our strawberries? These are important issues!
As one who works from home, same 😅. I go into the office to check the mail once a week and maybe will go out on the weekend to shop, but otherwise, at least 5 days a week, I don't leave the house. I have more pajamas than jeans 😂
@Beware the Lily of the Valley I also work from home, and live in a rural location. I need a full game plan if I am leaving the house or putting pants on! 🤣😂
The Monat dry shampoo is one of my biggest issues with that company lately. I work in a professional salon supply store. A lot of my older clients have come in telling me how their friend’s daughter sells this brand called Monat, and told them how dangerous their extremely safe, clean, high end dry shampoo is compared to the one she sells from Monat. The misinformation these poor women are given is astounding, some even want to start carrying all Monat. I try to talk to them about it but there’s only so much I can do.
That first one has me shaking in anger. I have a friend whose 6 year old child was tragically killed in a car wreck a few years ago. Long story short, one of her "friends" was handing out some brochures for ItWorks or some other garbage at the funeral home. I repeat. AT THE FUNERAL HOME. I hope my friend didn't hear about it. The grandfather of the child and my friend's brother in law politely escorted her out.
That is sickening. People that are capable of thinking about ANYTHING OTHER THAN comforting the grieving family, ESPECIALLY to sell stuff, belong in a straight jacket!
Poor grandpa and uncle having to deal with that, but amazing that they protected mom from it. It's hard having to be strong for a loved one while you're grieving yourself
I as the one who found the strawberry clip and I Asked. "What does this prove? My skin is not a strawberry" and she replied something on the lines of "its just a fun visual". And all im thinking is, of what??
Hi, from someone that used to be in an MLM.. On the first story, you really do have it ingrained into your brain that every little aspect of your life can tie to the company in some way. Thankfully I never saw anything to this degree, but what you're saying is completely spot on.
The fact that she chose to do that little “experiment” with a strawberry baffles me for unexpected reasons, too. Like. If I were to pick a fruit to try foundation and foundation removal on, I’d go with an apricot or peach. It just seems more logical. It’s even got fuzz! You know, like a cheek! hnjghjgh I truly can’t tell you why that’s what I’m hung up on, but it is.
I think it might be that the strawberry seeds with foundation on top kind of look like pores?? Like how some cleanser ads use oranges to show a make-up product stuck in pores that is dissolved by their face wash. Granted I might be giving the MLM Huns more credit than they're due and I agree, actual skin exists and fruit is not face😂
I think it’s because the strawberry is even more delicate than skin so if that goes undamaged your skin should be fine. Plus it’s got that weirdness factor to generate clicks. Still dumb.
when she said "i use young living every day" in the first clip i made big old wide eyes and then looked at the screen and hannah was making big old wide eyes and for a moment in time i travelled back to when she was filming this so we could both say "what the fresh hell" cosmically together
Is that boxes upon boxes of her unused Youngliving products that she was required to purchase making an appearance from her trunk? The world may never know.
Ahhhh, I've been waiting to see the strawberry demo in action! Thank you. I hope the rest of them were delicious. I'm so irritated at the thought of all those perfectly good strawberries being sacrificed to hunnery.
I love that these huns never see the irony in their most common statements: "these products sell themselves " and "you gotta hustle, get out there, post everyday". I mean, they're not mutually exclusive, but why would you have to post so much, reach out to so many people, and monetise a drive to a funeral if the products "sell themselves".
I crochet as one of my many hobbies and I make a lot of stuffed toys. A lot of people love what I make and tell me I should sell them but I don't really want to. I get more enjoyment just giving them away, plus I don't want my hobby to feel like a job (which is why I gave up my "dream" of being a full-time writer). People often request me to make things, but again it doesn't feel like a job because there really isn't a time limit.
I know what you mean. I love to make jewelry and I do makeup on others for fun. My mom always wants me to make a business out of it. But I already made a business out of one of my hobbies. So I won't do it again. I need to do something just for fun.
I was 100% sure that first woman was going to say if that other family had used her mlm products their child that they are burying would still be alive. And I wouldn’t have been surprised if she did! How can you use anyone’s funeral to sell anything, mlm or regular products, but a CHILDS FUNERAL!!!!!
Yeah same, at first I thought that was what she was implying. After the whole thing I think not (benefit of the doubt) but it's still extremely disrespectful
I used to be heavily involved in the anti mlm subreddit and, unfortunately, I remember seeing someone post a message they received from a YL hun that was along those lines. I'm not joking. It was vile.
This is so nice. I am recovering from my hysterectomy and it is nice to listen to your videos. You are kind, honest and real to all sides. Thank you so much for your videos. I love it!
Mythbusters worked on using spray sunscreen and it catching on fire. They explain the science. Just don't spray near an open flame, which is kind of common sense. But I guess if you are in the middle of a fire, you can still use Monat dry shampoo. I guess that your hair can still look great as you run out of the fire.
About the DoTerra claims: people really do believe these claims. My mother does. She has cancer. She’s always been anti-doctor and anti-medication (kind of a “only sick people take pills, so if I don’t take pills, I won’t be sick” mentally) and even refused to take my sibling and I to the doctor unless she thought the school or our father was going to call Child Services about it. Anyway, for some reason she’s more okay with surgeons, so she had surgery to remove the tumor, but they aren’t sure if they got it all and she refuses chemo, radiation, and any further testing. We were confused as to why until recently she admitted that she has a “special tea” she drinks, essential oils she puts in her water, supplements, and a “strict diet” and all that is going to cure her. According to her. I don’t know if the tea, oils, or supplements are MLM (wouldn’t be surprised, though) because she refused to go in to detail once she could see that we disapproved. We’ve tried and tried to talk her in to getting real treatment, but she literally just walks away or hangs up the phone. We’ve given up. The more we push, the more she digs in her heels and thinks she’s making the right decision. So, we’re just waiting for the phone call that she’s in the hospital, and we know that at that point they’re probably going to say she’s too far gone and needs to go to hospice. It’s a common tale and we’re preparing for it. The thing is, she’s not. She thinks she’s going to live to be 100. It’s going to hit her like a ton of bricks. Because _someone_ is helping to convince her that she can “cure cancer naturally”. No idea who, though. My mother has never been bright, never been skeptical, always been gullible. She’s fallen for multiple cults. She currently believes in QAnon (I guess that’s another cult?). So she’s an easy target for these kinds of claims. And I know I’m not the only one with a family member like this. The person constantly falling for MLMs and get-rich-quick schemes. The person that when you introduce them to friends, after a while they give that look that says “is she kidding or is she really this ignorant/much of an airhead?” The person that when family/friends call and mention her, the first thing you say is “what did she do now?” with a resigned sigh. The person that fits all that, but also thinks she’s _always_ right and that she’s the smartest person in the room. There’s a lot of those kinds of people, and they are the MLM dream. Who knows how many people have been maimed or worse because of claims like that. All because an MLM distributor wanted to make more money and the company at large looks the other way.
What I find silly about the Mary Kay reel is that it demonstrated that the cleanser on its own doesn’t work work well and that the foundation is an oily mess
The first clip reminds me of the horror stories we’ve heard where up-lines tell their down-lines to use traumatic situations to get sympathy sales. I could just picture the up-line telling that woman, “I know you’re sad right now and don’t feel like posting, but you have a golden opportunity here! Try to find a way to spin your friend’s child’s death into a sales pitch!” and this being the resulted attempt.
My teenaged daughter came out whilst u we’re doing the strawberry’s part, rolled her eyes & then brought back her ‘kit’ - not mlm & showed me what was being done. Then cheekily asked if I was gunna join an mlm, I said no & as she walked away, mumbled something under her breath. Kids - gotta love ‘em. 💞💞💞
Regarding what it’s like to try to grow as a boss bade….I almost had a nervous breakdown trying to make it work. I had just had our second baby and was also experiencing all the physical and mental stresses that come with that, not giving myself any grace because I was told that this was something I could do on the side as a mom and if I couldn’t, then that meant I wasnt trying hard enough. 😵💫😮💨 I gave it up reluctantly and thanks to these kinds of videos have been able to heal and forgive myself for failing and wasting our money and time. Thank you for what you do!
Ok adding some thoughts In. I know for a fact this applies to wine pouring and I think it does to aerosol cans too but I’m not 100%. Because of the fine particles in the dispersment, whilst the can is spraying the firing can potentially ignite o the particles up into the source of the dispersion and explode the can through rapid ignition of flammable content. This experiment is so stupidly dangerous and I’m surprised no explosions have happened yet. Also fine particles being ignited to make an explosion is the same reason flour is an affective bomb, these dry shampoos usually contain flour like ingredients such as starch
I am 100% with you on everything you said about not having to monetize every moment of every day. It sounds miserable and exhausting and these "boss babes" truly don't seen to understand not everyone wants that.
Hannah! Thank you for your work on these videos, I truly love the way you approach MLM critique. You're fantastic at what you do, but I know that if you end up in elementary education eventually, those kids are some lucky ducks! I'm an educator too and the way you explain things is so clear and engaging. You're basically a rockstar, is what I'm saying!
If I was the mother of the deceased child in the first clip and I caught wind of that, hun would be banned from the funeral, any gatherings after, and the rest of my life. Like how DARE you use my kid's passing as the "why" of the day and to pitch a sale that's on. I'd throw hands!!
Lol there was a monat hun who went door to door to do this and show people how their dry shampoo is so bad. The second house didn’t work. Their dry shampoo was not an aerosol can so it didn’t work 😂😂😂 and she was like oh good yours is good ok byeee lmaooo
Honestly the second video was genuinely really informative. Now I know that if I ever need to throw together a makeshift flame thrower, Monat dry shampoo will fail epically.
Hannah, how can we go about reporting those medical claims listed on the doTERRA business card? Would this be an example of claims reportable to the FTC?
That poor first woman sounded so uncomfortable. I seemed to me that she didn't really want to do it but felt like she needed to. It was so clumsy and didn't come naturally, (and it shouldn't)
I was thinking that she was just ignorant because mlms push selling on them every moment that they lose the capability to see how inappropriate this is. So even worse imo if she knew this isn't okay but still selling because people will hopefully feel sorry for her..
I worked nearly 12 hours yesterday. I telecommute. When it's not busy season, I will promote my artwork more online, but frankly, from January - March, I just want to log out and veg a bit. I would also like to point out that, unlike MLMs where most people end up working 24/7 and on vacations and sick (because somehow that's time freedom?), I can log out and not think about work. And when it's not busy season, that means just 8 hours, and then I can do what I want with the rest of my time. I can monetize it or not.
My cousin is a serial mlm hun…pampered chef, party lite, colorstreet, whatever the kids books one is, doterra, and lately some stupidly expensive calendars She ALWAYS tries to sell me something by focusing on my husband who is a combat vet with PTSD; “hey Megan, buy this essential oil that will magically make your husbands anxiety disappear” “oh I know you said you have to manage the households calendar because his memory isn’t great due to his TBI” “ oh look at these special camo/USA/patriotic nail strips!” She used to be one of my best friends, but now, she only ever reaches out to me when she’s having a party and wants to sell me something 🙄
12:00 This is why I like channels like Hannah Alonzo and Kiki Chanel. The dont just show a video clip and go "well, thats all I have for you. Its a messed up video but on to the next one." They actually take the time to educate their viewers. "This situation is bad because...." Kiki taught me a lot about the open ad protocol law thingy were ads must be openly disclosed and what counts as such. This was learned in her Bloom video when a lot of influencers were NOT being open about their video being an ad. In this video of Hannah, shes educating us on the propellent of dry shampoo and why not to buy in to these MLM experiment videos.
2 things in particular about this upload: 1) I literally was laughing so hard watching Hannah wash off the strawberry (And especially the tone of voice when she was putting the foundation on the strawberry!that I keep chuckling every time I’d even think of it. That was awesome! 2) In my case, I have truly found alkaline water to make a noticeable difference in with my Gerd/acid reflux. I can feel the difference immediately when I drink regular pH water, regardless of how pure or filtered it is. That being said though - if you’ve tried alkaline water and you feel the difference, there’s certainly no need to ever ever buy a huge expensive filtration system. There are a number of various sort of alkaline water pictures and replacement cartridges on Amazon. And that’s what I use. I think it ends up costing me maybe, an average of $10 per month and I drink over 88 ounces a day of water. No need to buy expensive filtration systems or for that matter no reason to even buy the pre-bottled ones which are also quite costly. Just make sure you get something with 9.0 or higher if you’re trying to Use it for acid reflux type issues.
The flammable-not flammable thing: well, there could be many reasons. She was really making sure to hit the right angle of the candle with the non-MLM dry shampoos, she was holding the straight and spraying the product parallel to the ground. However, with monat dry shampoo, she seemingly only sprayed a little and under a sharper angle. This also explains why the candle would be unlit: the product hit the candle. If you only apply minimum force to spray, not much of the gas will escape and light on fire. If you spray the candle with dry shampoo, there will literally be no fire at all 😂 Sabotaging experiments is what they’re doin’.
So from the mary kay lady...i'm getting her cleanser is crap, bc it did not remove the makeup until she used a brush with it 🤷♀️ bc even with the brush, there was still some foundation stuck in the seeds
Hi I just had your channel recommendation from UA-cam. I’m now binge watching. I have two people I know try and get me into their MLM . I really did not know much about MLM companies but my gut told me to say no!I told both of them I wasn’t interested. The one guy keeps messaging me but I do not respond at all. Really enjoying this channel and learning so much! Thank you.
Regarding the funeral video, I am almost certain based on her last comment, that she plans to shill her oils AT THE FUNERAL. To 'help others'. Truly heinous behavior.
Me: enjoying my lunch break while doing home design for fun Mlm huns: wanna make more income with a side gig? Me: yeah, no. I’m happy where I am right now. Mlm huns: *shocked pikachu face* Me: what? Never met someone who is content in life?
3 minutes in and i’m already so done with these people. when you join an mlm is it mandatory you switch off the “this isn’t appropriate right now” part of your brain 😒
everytime a hun talks about "applications" for mlms, i'm reminded of the scene in the mary-kate and ashley movie "it takes two" where they're talking about the creepy foster parents and one kid goes "the butkises? those people collect kids, they'll take ANYBODY" lmao. i need that clip on a loop for mlms
I'm very late here but as someone with chronic illness who is struggling to get a job rn to make money in a huge inflation crisis - i have been feeling incredibly unworthy and disheartened under this weird girlboss movement that's been happening recently. Everything you said about it being okay to enjoy what you enjoy without seeking monetisation was exactly what i needed to hear 😭
I wonder how much the oils are just a placebo effect. You put a good smell in a bottle, slap the name "Joy" on it and suddenly it helps with grief. If you put "Peace" on the same scent, I imagine you get the same "results".
I'm really late to this comment but it got me thinking. since grief is so individual and complicated, I totally believe calming scents can be part of someones coping or healing. that being said, using grief to sell overpriced oil is so gross
It really is unreal that these reps can make ANY TYPE of claim they want! If this was a real business or company, can you imagine? You would be fired on the spot if you went around selling products to customers that literally has NOTHING to do with what the product really does!
Did the first woman mean that she had lost a child in the past as well? She said "as a grieving mother' and that this makes her own trauma open up and be raw. So it sounded to me like she was referring to her own loss of a child and today is going to the funeral for the child of a friend? If so, that is really heartbreaking. Or maybe I misunderstood, in which case it's still shocking.
I caught that too, and I don't want to assume the worst, but frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if that weren't true. Anyone who has this poor judgment will lie about that. I've seen that myself.
"When someone tells me how much time they spend on social media and they don't make a dime doing it🙄" umm I'm pretty sure most huns spend more time on social media than I do and they still don't make a dime😬
As an engineer my theory on the difference in the experience is pressure. Nerdy Science Alert: The ones with big flames are under pressure. So they create a fine aerosol mist of droplets and gas. It is the gas actually that causes the fireball. The Monet product is a spray bottle so it is much less pressure and much bigger droplets. So it has a much smaller reaction because much smaller surface area. You get the same difference between fire breathers (high pressure mist) and just lighting a puddle of alcohol on fire like a fire shot (just a simple flame). They would get the same reaction with air freshener or almost any other pressurized aerosol.
It's been a few months, but I was watching a bunch of Horror movie reviews and Deep Caving disasters videos. I think UA-cam is like "Horror movies! People dying in accidents! That means that they should want to watch Anti MLMs..." Somehow they were right lol
I am a lawyer in Europe and there is a reason why there are laws to limit the hours a person can work in a day. People need to rest and need to be allowed to do whatever they want. Yes, sometimes you need the extra cash or you just love to do it but it's ok to do something without monetizing it. Sometimes I also teach at night because I really love doing stand the extra cash is useful, so that means that on those nights I dont get to read or watch tv at night but I can't do it all the time because it's exhausting even though I love doing it. I also sew with my daughter. People are always asking why doesn't she sell something (she is 13). Yes, she has sold some things because she was trying to buy a tablet but most of the time she just does what she likes to wear. It seems that some people just can't understand doing something just for fun. And that in fact leads to so many problems. Thank you for spreading awareness.
Hannah out here doing the most to educate us. Lord I love your videos! You took us to school and we are here for it!!! You are one of the best anti mlm channels out there. You are the most kind person in the anti community and I love that for us. You explain things so well and it makes those huns look foolish. You are amazing. Keep doing what you are doing!!
The fire experiments from the Monat girlies are always hilarious to me. Because they almost always include the not your mother's dry shampoo. That's so funny to me because the NYM dry shampoo is an affordable dupe of the Monat dry shampoo. Like, they both use rice starch to act as the dry shampoo ingredient, which is the most important ingredient in a dry shampoo. The Monat can doesn't usually spark the flame because it is less pressurized, but it's also because the Monat girls hold the product much further from the flame. So when you hold it far enough away from the flame that the propellant can't reach the flame, the actual dry shampoo product will extinguish the flame. And this is true with any dry shampoo.
I wonder how many takes they have to do to get the results they want to put out onto the internet! I cannot believe they are actually getting these results on the first try 😂 can you imagine being their neighbors and seeing them doing this in their driveway?! I'd have the fire department on speed dial because they are leaning over open flames with their hair hanging loose!!!! MA'AMS!!!! 😱😱😱
Despite it having the same ingredient I would not consider it a dupe at all. Every time I've used the Monat dry shampoo it has left a white cast and made the hair feel gunky and gross. Meanwhile I love NYM dry shampoo in all the varieties I've tried (at least before they changed the formula because now all the reviews talk about the bottles emptying out on their own, sometimes with enough force to fly off the shelf 😬).
Side note on benzine... it is an insanely flammable substance that burns so hot and fast and long that fire fighters can't put out a benzine fire, just contain them. While the bigger concern with the sprays is the carcinogenic quality, attempting an experiment with products containing benzine in which you're actively trying to spark fires (at your house with no safety in place) is incredibly unsafe. Hun science with fire is not recommended.
Chemistry student here The Substance used in the Monet one needs a exact rate between itself and oxygen to catch fire. This is ratio is highly unlikely to take place in this situation, but Tetrafluoropropene will then explode not just burn. It has been discussed in the EU to ban it and a lot of scientists put out a few studies( the paper is linked on the Wikipedia page). I think it’s not banned but on a “watchlist”.
Haha! Can you imagine all that time people waste interacting with their dogs, playing with them, and training them, and not earning a dime for it?! I make bank doing that EVERY DAY! Who would have a dog for a pet when they can be your professional work partner? 😂 Wild. Anyway, I make more money hanging out with dogs part-time than MLM huns make working their asses off 24/7. It's great.
“Hun Science With Hannah” should be its own mini-series 😂
Check out Brianna Jewel “stuff influencers say” too! They would be a fun crossover.
Yesss, I agree!
Excellent idea!
Yes please!!!! 😍😅😅
I fully support this idea. 👍🏼
@@Amanda-sj5sb absolutely agree! Driving on your way to a funeral to pitch a sale for some damn oils. Shameful
The huns must always use any opportunity to sell their MLM. It shows the desperation behind any MLM participation as the compensation plan of their company is brutal.
That’s making the highlight reel of “this is why you’re in hell”.
@@theloverlyladylo9158 yeah this one is burning for sure!

Hannah: “basically, you are allowed to take time to do things in your life for no other reason than they just bring you happiness and enjoyment”
Me: “Thanks, Hannah!”
🙃You paint quite the picture of enjoying alone time!
Toss a couple more when you see this comment!
Omg im also eating mini marshmallows 🤣🤣
😁
p.s. Someone somewhere would probably pay you money to watch you do that. LOL
Sorry for your loss.
So sorry for your loss xxx
I'm so sorry for your loss.
It’s tacky on steroids! I’m glad you weren’t in someone’s cross hairs during that time
I have an explanation for the dry shampoo!
That's why an air conditioning unit has to have some connection to outside air - the back of the unit creates an greater increase in heat as it compresses the refrigerant than the decrease in heat you get inside the unit from the vaporization)
Not that anyone should be super worried about frostbite from dry shampoo under normal conditions! But if you hold the spray right next to your skin, like 1/2 inch or less, and keep it on for more than a few seconds, it is a known risk.
I love chemistry ✨😩
I always put foundation on my strawberries! 😊They deserve to feel beautiful too!🥰
😂😂😂
😂😂lol
But applying false eyelashes is the real struggle...
What cleanser do you use to remove the strawndation
I just found this channel, but so far I really like it & I think it provides an excellent service. And about the strawberry foundation experiment….the only thing that the hun proved is that this cleanser can probably effectively clean facial foundation off of strawberries. I am not sure what the hun thinks the relevance of this might be, but all the people I know prefer strawberries with plain little faces, no makeup required. 😊
As an ICU nurse who is always looking at arterial blood gasses on sick patients I promise that “alkaline water” is never an order to treat your pH imbalance 🤦🏻♀️ that’s not how this works
The MLM "experiments" give me 5 minute Crafts vibes...and we all know how awful those can be!
But Hannah! If it weren’t for MLMs, how would we know what dry shampoo to use while our hair is on fire? How would we know what cleanser to use when taking makeup off our strawberries? These are important issues!
Now I just need to know what dry shampoo to use on my strawberries 🤔
😂
Love the name!
I thought u were gonna say which dry shampoo to use on our enemies 😭
@@OneDoodlingBugThat's a good one 😂

I've never related so much 😂🤣
As one who works from home, same 😅.
Such dedication to the cause
MLMs don’t cut out the middle men, they just don’t pay them.

It didn't make sense to me either. It took me a few seconds to realize she was talking about the product names. The AUDACITY 🤬
CACKLING AT THIS COMMENT
Wow. What a horrid woman. How insensitive.
Vile!
😮
That is sickening. People that are capable of thinking about ANYTHING OTHER THAN comforting the grieving family, ESPECIALLY to sell stuff, belong in a straight jacket!
Poor grandpa and uncle having to deal with that, but amazing that they protected mom from it. It's hard having to be strong for a loved one while you're grieving yourself
I as the one who found the strawberry clip and I Asked. "What does this prove? My skin is not a strawberry" and she replied something on the lines of "its just a fun visual". And all im thinking is, of what??
As a graphic designer, that Doterra business card makes my eye twitch. Why would you ever run text that close to the edge of the card?
Hi, from someone that used to be in an MLM.. On the first story, you really do have it ingrained into your brain that every little aspect of your life can tie to the company in some way. Thankfully I never saw anything to this degree, but what you're saying is completely spot on.
I'm so happy for your successful escape from the business cult!
Why use a fruit?? Hahah why not just do it on her hand or arm?? 🤣🤣
@@lauriechan1426 you've got skin right there! I think it's because strawberries are seen as delicate, but it's still very odd.
Still dumb.
@@Kaldylicious Ohhh that is a good point. As was the one about strawberries being very delicate. But still! 😂
when she said "i use young living every day" in the first clip i made big old wide eyes and then looked at the screen and hannah was making big old wide eyes and for a moment in time i travelled back to when she was filming this so we could both say "what the fresh hell" cosmically together
Kangen water: Acid is bad, it'll make you sick.
doTERRA: Drink and sniff this oil from an acidic fruit. It will cure everything. XD
Right strawberries aren’t cheap.
Is she really pitching her "oportunity" at a freeking funeral???!! This is unreal!🤯😨🤮
Hun Science with Hannah ™️ needs to be an actual thing 😆😆
Also, “sniffing Doterra makes you immortal…” I laughed so hard 😂😂
I was 100% sure that first woman was going to say if that other family had used her mlm products their child that they are burying would still be alive. And I wouldn’t have been surprised if she did! How can you use anyone’s funeral to sell anything, mlm or regular products, but a CHILDS FUNERAL!!!!!
Yeah same, at first I thought that was what she was implying. After the whole thing I think not (benefit of the doubt) but it's still extremely disrespectful
I honestly feel she was implying that the child would still be alive if they had used the oils, but I might be a little too cynical
Totally disgusting!
I love it!
I binged them after my hysto as well. I hope that you recover as fully and quickly as possible!

Wishing you a smooth recovery
“Rely on the lack of critical thinking.” That, in a nutshell, explains how MLMs work.
The person that when you introduce them to friends, after a while they give that look that says “is she kidding or is she really this ignorant/much of an airhead?”
The person that when family/friends call and mention her, the first thing you say is “what did she do now?” with a resigned sigh.
It's a year later, but I hope you are doing well. MLMs are predators first and foremost.
I am so sorry.
Goodness, I’m so sorry :(
What I find silly about the Mary Kay reel is that it demonstrated that the cleanser on its own doesn’t work work well and that the foundation is an oily mess
So true..
I don't think the companies care what reps say as long as they are selling the products and don't get caught.
For your effort of putting on real clothes to leave the house ❤️❤️ thank you 😂😂
Regarding what it’s like to try to grow as a boss bade….I almost had a nervous breakdown trying to make it work.
It’s 3am and I was going to sleep but claiming the early ticket for Hannah’s vids was too tempting
She would be an amazing teacher.
That first one - OH. MY. GOD.
You just KNOW she's going to use others' grief to try and recruit/sell more... disgusting.
I was stunned
If I was the mother of the deceased child in the first clip and I caught wind of that, hun would be banned from the funeral, any gatherings after, and the rest of my life. Like how DARE you use my kid's passing as the "why" of the day and to pitch a sale that's on. I'd throw hands!!
Lol there was a monat hun who went door to door to do this and show people how their dry shampoo is so bad. The second house didn’t work. Their dry shampoo was not an aerosol can so it didn’t work 😂😂😂 and she was like oh good yours is good ok byeee lmaooo
Yep! That was the clip from MLM Top Fails 37!

I've been waiting for this strawberry experiment since you posted it on your stories. 😂
Hannah, how can we go about reporting those medical claims listed on the doTERRA business card? Would this be an example of claims reportable to the FTC?

The entire strawberry but left me in stitches... So what did we learn today, kids? That people are Not strawberries!! The more you know...
Idk why it is like nails on a chalkboard to me when people say “I just hopped on here real quick”
That poor first woman sounded so uncomfortable. I seemed to me that she didn't really want to do it but felt like she needed to. It was so clumsy and didn't come naturally, (and it shouldn't)
yeah it definitely came across that she was not in the mood for this. she def either felt like she had to or was told she had to. really sad :(
not to mention she's 100% been preyed on with the way she is seemingly relying on these oils to get her through her days
I was thinking that she was just ignorant because mlms push selling on them every moment that they lose the capability to see how inappropriate this is. So even worse imo if she knew this isn't okay but still selling because people will hopefully feel sorry for her..
No, she's really not a victim.
My cousin is a serial mlm hun…pampered chef, party lite, colorstreet, whatever the kids books one is, doterra, and lately some stupidly expensive calendars
She ALWAYS tries to sell me something by focusing on my husband who is a combat vet with PTSD; “hey Megan, buy this essential oil that will magically make your husbands anxiety disappear” “oh I know you said you have to manage the households calendar because his memory isn’t great due to his TBI” “ oh look at these special camo/USA/patriotic nail strips!”
She used to be one of my best friends, but now, she only ever reaches out to me when she’s having a party and wants to sell me something 🙄
As an esthetician, that little strawberry demonstration had me absolutely rolling with laughter!
I have a question for an aesthetician.
Should I wear bb cream or foundation (I have oily dry skin)
@@BloominFleury29 do you have combo skin? Oily some places and dry other places? Do you have acne? What's your skin care routine?

2 things in particular about this upload:
1) I literally was laughing so hard watching Hannah wash off the strawberry (And especially the tone of voice when she was putting the foundation on the strawberry!that I keep chuckling every time I’d even think of it.
The most disgusting thing on the DoTerra business card is the suggestion to use it on infants for colic.
If you spray the candle with dry shampoo, there will literally be no fire at all 😂
Sabotaging experiments is what they’re doin’.

That's what I noticed! I've seen so many of them do that when trying to "prove something" with these experiments.

What is wrong with the first lady?!?!?! If my death is ever used to sell any product, I will come back and haunt the crap out of that person!
I don't think "I always get paid on time" is a flex for this "brand ambassador"
It really is unreal that these reps can make ANY TYPE of claim they want! If this was a real business or company, can you imagine? You would be fired on the spot if you went around selling products to customers that literally has NOTHING to do with what the product really does!
Did the first woman mean that she had lost a child in the past as well? She said "as a grieving mother' and that this makes her own trauma open up and be raw. So it sounded to me like she was referring to her own loss of a child and today is going to the funeral for the child of a friend? If so, that is really heartbreaking. Or maybe I misunderstood, in which case it's still shocking.
I caught that too. I wonder if she would have thought it OK if her friend had done the same thing on the way to her own child's funeral.
I caught that too, and I don't want to assume the worst, but frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if that weren't true. Anyone who has this poor judgment will lie about that. I've seen that myself.
Hannah: cleaning foundation of a strawberry in the kitchen
Hannah's husband: 👁👄👁
"When someone tells me how much time they spend on social media and they don't make a dime doing it🙄" umm I'm pretty sure most huns spend more time on social media than I do and they still don't make a dime😬
I appreciate the strawberry demonstration. It shows that reps will do anything to sell their overpriced products.
The fact that the first women can’t even go to a funeral and grieve properly without the MLM being entwined in it makes me sad.
They would get the same reaction with air freshener or almost any other pressurized aerosol.
love your content! i would rather spend less on non mlm product, then spend more. i also (as a rule) try not to put my head near flames...
That is crazy. They are shameless.
Yes!! I love seeing your videos when I get to work! It’s amazing!

Hun Science with Hannah!! 🤣😂🤣 This definitely needs to be a new series!! Also, strawberries are not skin! I nearly spit out my tea.
Looks like in the dry shampoo MLM clip, when she sprayed the Monat, she barely tapped the nozzle and it puffed out behind the open flame
"Hun science with Hannah". I love it!
😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳 Using your friend’s daughter’s funeral to plug your Young Living bullshit? This is a new low. I would be SO upset if I were the friend.
I missed the cat cameos. Please tell Zeke and Cooper I hope to see them next time.
Monat: it won't set your hair on fire
That's an extremely low bar
Chemistry student here
The Substance used in the Monet one needs a exact rate between itself and oxygen to catch fire.
It's great.
Thanks for giving me something great to listen to while I clean! ❤
