My sister has a small business selling handmade press on nails and we just went to a holiday craft event this weekend. The event organizers almost denied her because a Color Street hun had already signed up and they try to not have two people selling similar products. Luckily she got in, but it’s sad how they almost turned away a real small business owner in favor for of an MLM scammer
I sell Scentsy and do 2 regular events every month. The coordinators for both events have asked me if it was OK if they allowed other small business wax melts in, I told them to please include those other businesses because everyone sells something different. In some instances I directed people to their booth because they had scents that I didn't. I know I'm not the usual mlm rep, it's definitely frustrating to see the gross behavior that seems to be the norm.
Same. I make wax melts and got stuck next to a scentsy rep. I decided to be an ass and ask her 'oh did you make those yourself?' Luckily I made a sale while she didn't 😂
It blows my mind that Huns spend their own money to be at these shows with MLM products. I work in the wedding and event industry as a business owner and the amount of people who pay money to join bridal fairs and open houses (sometimes like $1000) and don’t get even one bite from a customer is mind boggling. It makes me very sad.
Another true crafter here... I agree!!!!! My business partner and I started our micro business from the ground up with our own money and we make all our inventory BY HAND. It's almost insulting to be placed next to an MLM booth when we go to craft fairs! Not to mention one craft fair we were looking at was being planned and organized by a Paparazzi hun... the email address we had to use to communicate with her about the fair was her Paparazzi email address! 😭 Needless to say we didn't end up vending at that one. It's just such a jungle out there for us ACTUAL small businesses to navigate!
As a customer at these local fairs, mlms as vendors annoy me to no end and I simply completely avoid them. Luckily, in my area, you must fully make (not just sell) whatever you offer up at our Wednesdays/Sundays fairs.
Yeah, there's a company I know of that offers a membership for now.....get this....3k a year. They say they are offering it now for 50% off, with over $1,000+ extra in value. I'm like, sorry but if you CAN discount it that much how much is it worth really 😂
I can honestly say I’d never seen an mlm advent. In the yarn world, hand dyed yarn advents are a HUGE deal and they are expensive. But even they aren’t (normally) $300 bucks! And they usually are 24 days of “minis” and one full size skein, and come with patterns, stitch markers or other goodies. That’s the only advent I’d pay for! Oh and the wine one from aldi. Which by my math it was Christmas two weeks ago
i’ll never understand why Australians join MLMs. our minimum wage is $23 before any kind of loading. you’d easily make so much more money working one day a week than you would selling crap online 😭
Very true. I'm an aussie and My SIL got sucked into Younique (sorry spelling) and my older sister and I gathered soooo much evidence to show her it was an MLM scam. This was also back in 2016 so there was nowhere near as many videos available but we still had a bunch of info to show her it was not legit and she was going to lose all her money. My brother had no idea she put everything at the beginning on his credit card and oh my when he found out, he was beyond angry. The thing that my sister and I could not understand is why she just wouldn't even listen to us AND she has never known how to apply make up...like at all. We always did her make up for her on spesh occasions etc so it made no sense. She scammed soooo many of her friends who she doesn't understand why they stopped talking to her and are still not friends with her. It took about a year for her to realise she was in a hole and had SO much product that was sitting just going bad. I refused to buy anything from her as I stuck to my morals but my sister was nice and got some crappy eye shadows. I got mad at my sister cos she was enabling her but I can see why she wanted to support her. It's now the main thing we aren't allowed to talk about or bring up by her which I think is just ridiculous. Oh btw my SIL is probably one of the most selfish and entitled person I've ever met so it all made sense.
Australian here, I can see why mums do this. I was part of nutramedics for years, you can earn up to 40 thousand ( from memory that is ) and not pay tax as the gov classes these mlms as a hobby not as an income source. I only bought products for myself and my mum as I enjoyed them and we got a discount, never did any parties nor was I pushed to do them. I stopped buying because it got too expensive and I couldn’t no longer afford to buy a $25 bottle of shower wash.
Not if you have a couple of kids that will have to go into day care. That eats a big chunk of your pay, plus you don't get to spend that time with them every day. I can easily see why especially stay at home mothers or fathers would get into these "jobs" for the income. And if you live farther out from wherever the jobs are, all the more reason. Just being able to avoid having to get small children up and going very early in the morning, driving them to day care then driving to work, working, coming home and then wanting to spend time with the kids but still having things like dinner and laundry to tend to makes it worth it if you can make at least equal to minimum wage. Or even a bit less, since you wouldn't be bringing home minimum wage after child care anyway.
@@mommy2libras this is true if you have very young children, but children aged 3 and above and above should be in kinder (free in my state) for 5-15 hours per week, or full time school
I had a cousin who is a Mary Kay hun, and a few Christmases ago she posted about how you should make sure you support a local business this year and said to call her if you want makeup supplies from her local company. 😅 I don't think multi-million dollar companies are what people usually mean when they say support local businesses.
There are plenty of multimillion dollar companies local to me where the ppl started them here and are still here and would 109% support them if I need their service or product but an mlm isn’t their ground up business 😂
I feel so badly for the Christmas Bazaar crafters, those selling things they personally made, trying to sell next to mlm reps. I’ve been there (I sell hand dyed yarn and hand made bags) and it’s so frustrating to be next to a big company’s products at one of these events.
I agree! I do knit and crochet projects, Diamond art, etc. I was just at a sale yesterday and sold a grand total of 4 items…the MLM tables were right by the door…
I just went to a holiday event and can't tell you how many of them tried to get me to their table. One lady said oh, is there a reason and I said yes, I'm allergic to MLM. 😂😂
It makes me SOOOOO ANGRY when I see MLMs at pop-ups!!! Being an ACTUAL small business owner, it just takes away from us. People get so SOURED from getting pitched at, that they WILL LEAVE without seeing what we have to offer. Being a small business isn't easy. Sometimes you won't profit for your first couple of years in business... so the lies are all disgusting... they need to take their garbage elsewhere...
My mom grew up with carnie (carnival stand owners) parents… as she always told me “Don’t be a mark”. Meaning don’t get duped like so many others do. I’m glad that strong sense of skepticism has carried me through life not being led into bad situations like joining an MLM.
Ah, the craft fairs. I went to a bunch of them recently, and when one e-mailed me looking for feedback, I specifically told them I was so glad they didn't have any MLMs there, and that I probably would not attend if they added them.
I've pretty much stopped going to craft shows and farmers markets. There is always too much MLM stuff in my area and it was hard for me in the past to not purchase products from people I knew because I also was a Hun for awhile. So the best thing for me is to not go. I might go to one or two shows a year but I now treat them like garage sales and antique stores in that it is okay to look and not buy. My favorite excuse is that I'm a minimalist or currently decluttering or using up the products I have but I will maybe keep them in mind when I would like to make a purchase in the future. Living in a small town, every one is either a Hun, a crafter or a baker. Well, I'm never going to be a Hun again, I like to do my own crafting and I like my own baking better than most people. 😆
I crochet plushies and sell at craft fairs. I just found out recently that there are people who buy already made crochet items from like Temu and Alibaba to sell at craft fairs as handmade! Makes me very sad. There are some organizers who does asked you to confirm that they are handmade or assembled by the seller but who follows up on that.
I find it insane how they preach of it being an amazing opportunity and compensation system whilst begging people to buy and telling everyone how broke they are
As an artist, I was part of a local “Holiday Art Market” and I’m happy to say there were Zero MLM’s as vendors! Rare to see, sadly, but it was nice to see the room populated with actual artisans and small business owners! Also I love this video idea! It would be amazing if people watched and thought, ew let’s add schilling a pyramid scheme to the already high level of stress and anxiety? No thanks! And then swore off ever getting involved in an MLM! That would be your Christmas gift to them, Hannah!
I've noticed more and more art markets and craft sales either not allowing MLMs, or limiting them to 2 or 3 tables out of 50. I love seeing it, because the sooner these things die, the better, and when you're advertising an "artisan" event and have MLMs... what are you even doing? Lol
@@GentaroYumeno MLM stands for Multi Level Marketing and it means a business where the person selling items for the MLM company also is required to get other people to sign up and sell items for the company in order to make money (because they make money from the people they sign up). It’s very unethical because the majority of people working for MLM companies don’t make money even though they work hard. These companies often show up at fairs and markets pretending to be small businesses. Think pampered chef, paparazzi, stampin up, scentscy, thirty-one gifts, etc
I live in Texas and I’ve seen MLM stalls at craft fairs. My aunt and I love going to them and finding unique gifts. I always very clearly and loudly tell my aunt “NOT THAT ONE, it’s an MLM!”
Thank you for the PSA to Craft Fair organizers!! As the owner of a handmade craft business it irks me when craft fairs allow MLMs. I dream up, design & make all my own products with my own hands. They sell over priced crap that they had no say in creating. Plus, a lot of people won’t go to craft fairs if MLMs are allowed which then reduces attendance for the actual crafts people.
I participate in sales organized by a certain group and while they do allow one of each MLM up to a certain number-like 15 total MLMs-I love that they put them in a separate area, all in one line. I’ve been to craft sales where they have them all mixed in and I hate that.
“Sounds free to me” lol mlm reps are so brandwashed they literally think that when you buy an item and you get than item that it’s free bc they are used to paying for things with zero return 😂😂😂
It makes me super sad that Usborn books is now an mlm. My son, who's 34 now, and I adored those books when he was small. I would purchase them at a bookstore (remember those? 😢). Heartbreaking. All of it.
Usborne Books at Home (the MLM branch) began in 1981 which is 43 years ago. Basically they see their books in stores but they also had another branch that operated as an mlm.
32:09 this would be even funnier if you had a little bingo card in your hands, and when you get a bingo you can look at the rep who go you there all excited like and exclaim they've done it! They have given you the MLM bingo you were looking for, then thank them while they look at you in bewilderment.
It makes me so sad that people in MLMs are not offered anything ever. In most normal companies even if they can be horrible in many aspects, something is offered for the holidays and specially the products the company sells… and specially to their sales workers. I worked in a call center for a chocolate company and we were all gifted 2kilos of chocolate once. I hated that job but I do miss the chocolate
Just let that sink in - if they can offer an advent calender where the products inside are basically 50% discounted and THEN, on top of it, the company can offer a 40% discount for each product on their website.... eh, just think of the fkn MARGIN these products have when they are offered to you with their regular price... they are STILL making lots of money when the price is cut in half... YIKES
I own a business in the wedding and event industry and it’s not uncommon for us to pay anywhere from $120 to $1000 to join as a vendor at bridal expos and fairs. There is at least one MLM booth at every one of these events. I have never seen any of them make a single sale and I don’t understand why they continue to spend their own money on them. It makes me so sad.
I am a quilter and a certain website I frequent sold a “Christmas box for more than $200 for 24 Days of Christmas.” I watched the unboxing of each item…there wasn’t even one item I thought I might like…except the Box! It was a really cool box. This went on my “Money I saved because I didn’t buy it” spreadsheet.
Oh man I did a Christmas market this year and SO many were MLM (including the organizer). It's such a slap in the face to those of us who actually put effort and time and love into our products.
I have a friend that sells some magic water machine thing, she’s convinced she’s not in an mlm.....but had to spend $4,000 to buy the machine to join. Its amazing how people you know can go from normal to deluded so quickly. 😂
The booth fees for these holiday bazaars or "craft shows" is an additional untold cost of the MLM nightmare. The traffic is usually very little. It ends up being a bunch of MLM huns "supporting each other's businesses". Then there's the drama of which mlm has the best business model. 😂 omg....I spent way too much for so very little trying to run a "business." The drama that came with it was so exhausting.
This is a great point!! It costs $ to have a booth. But for me, when I've helped friends at their (small business) booths, it was the energy suck that was so tough. I would have a much harder time being excited all day about MLM products...
I know a woman who sells Mary Kay. She's relatively high in the ranks, but her whole life is spent around that company! I don't even think she does anything normal.
When you said the advent calendar was $300, my jaw dropped. Im used to german advent calendars which have all 25 days and are just a little piece of chocolate or opening a window to see a cute picture. They cost less than €30
These poor souls are so lost into delusion they can't even see the scam coming right out of their own wallets. That lady #5 literally went"Please buy my MLM because I'm not making any money with it" *30 seconds later* "You guys should sign up for the MLM to make money, you could get like $1,000 in a few months, so easy right?"
The advent calendars are surely a win for the top of the pyramid. I don’t know how much a rep is making on a sale, but when they have 4-5 people in their downline it may already pays out. But of course, the company always makes the most.
god. i live in rural australia too and have all my life, and the monat girlie likely had very, very little opportunity to find employment otherwise. you either work at the local supermarket, at the mines, at the school, at the hospital...wherever you can get in, but if you have young kids and if your farm doesn't have many workers (or any), then it's likely she's already doing triple shifts as a mother, a farmhand, AND an accountant/bookkeeper as is. and rural internet is pretty shitty, though it's gotten better from when I was younger, but still...wfh jobs out in the country are also pretty rough. i really hope she finds something else that won't ruin her, since farming's hard enough as is and it can be isolating.
Dear lord I’ve just found Monat in France (my current living country), 😭 and the problem is that in Europe, we don’t have this MLM culture at all, like raising awareness will be something challenging
The biggest artisan/craft fair in the state I live in has a strict no MLM policy, in fact most of the artisan fairs/holiday bazaars in my area don't allow MLMs to set up a booth. I know this because one of the MLM huns I happen to be friends with on FB is constantly complaining about how her booth applications for the big fairs and bazaars in the area always get rejected.
We purchased some services from a home improvement company. They did a fantastic job and I had no complaints. It was strange to get an ornament from them with their company logo on it. When I saw the advent calendar and heard what you said about the ornament, your thoughts aligned with mine. Oh wow, an advertisement, on our tree. How... wonderful.
I love how these huns said in the most words that they’re glad they scammed people to buy overpriced low-to-mid-quality products just to fill their own pockets with their victim’s money
I remember one of my wake up calls was when my SIL bought tastefully simple from me only to gift it back to me 😄😄😄 Not that I didn’t like the stuff, but something about it made me realize people didn’t really want to buy it for all thier family and friends 😂😂😂
Oh also, I run a small craft business… I try to avoid events that allow MLMs. It’s definitely hard to do but there are a few out there. What’s crazy is I’ll see posts saying “we are full on Scentsy, Papparazi, etc but we have space for Arbonne” or something along those lines.
Don't feel bad. They make it look so nice with a pretty bow on top but honestly the system is very sadly using the people below them. In the past I've contemplated joining an MLM too because I thought they were a legit way to work from home and get a decent income. The people I knew who were a part of one were usually the sweetest people and it made the job look so fun and kind of easy. But the reality just does not match up. It's not your fault you were kind of duped. It happens to the best of people. Now you're out and that's great
I was so dissapointed to see two of my old coworkers joining Monat. The first one clearly fell for the "you can work AND stay at home with your babies" BS The second one has major social anxiety and further had guilt that she relies financially on her husband because of it, so the first woman sold her on her downline with the promise of working from home while still being able to connect with woman worldwide So sad
The Aussie lady sounds so desperate to sign up new recruits. It's sad and so different from some of the other "motivational" videos you've shown. I just got sucked into this anti-MLM rabbit hole, and it's fascinating and scary that some people a) don't realize what they're getting themselves into, and b) know exactly what this is and will stop at nothing to dupe complete strangers into drinking their Flavor-Ade. Love your videos, but I am SCARED. Thank God I've finally developed the ability to say NO.
so wait the calendar was $300, valued at $600, but the products inside are all 40% off the day they're opened?? so it's worth just over $300, and you could just buy the individual products on sale that you want instead for about the same amount (maybe plus shipping, idk how shipping works for that company)
If only mlmers put their passion and hard work into forming a skill or trade, they could legit follow most of their own advice and actually do something great! Art, content creation, freelance work for countless skills--the options these days are endless! And they legit DO give you satisfaction in yourself and your work. You can start from nothing and work to make something of yourself, all without a soulless, toxic company.

I've been binging Hannah's channel lately. Whenever her cats start meowing in the background I look for my cat to see what she wants before remembering it's probably one of Hannah's 😅
My grandfather (yes, grandfather!) was involved in Avon for years. He lived in a village of like 200 people, with no cosmetics shop around, so it was quite popular there because he got everything in the mail... All the Avon stuff we were gifted every year LMAO
I live in Western PA and it has gotten so bad that unless a craft show specifically states “handmade items only”, I do not give them the time of day. I love craft shows or holiday markets as they are sometimes called in the area, but absolutely REFUSE to set foot in one that advertises as having “vendors.” That’s a dead giveaway they allow MLM companies to promote their products.
I’m so happy that many of our local craft pop up places like at the mall and farmers markets they don’t allow mlm at all. It takes away from actual small businesses! More places should start catching on.
I love how in story # 4 she says the makeup bags were only like $10 or $15, but doesn't even mention how many hundreds of dollars the Monat products cost
I do craft/vendor fairs and I can't STAAAAAND when they include MLMs. It takes away from so many others who create something. I try to choose shows that don't include them, but sometimes it's hard. Sigh.
I've pretty much stopped going to craft fairs or Christmas bazaars when there is one around me. There are a few vendors who make their products, or are truly small local business but most are MLM reps. It's disappointing to go thinking I might find some unique gift only to see mostly tables filled with what you can tell are MLM products.
lol my local Christmas bazaar was at our fairgrounds where there’s several different buildings clustered together. Not sure if they did it intentionally but all the MLM vendors were grouped together in one building which happened to be the most distant one
One thing I’ve noticed similar amongst all Huns is that they always have a video (or 2 or 3…) in which they start off by saying “I usually don’t post something like this…”. Yes, they do. They have several videos of them posting about the same thing!
Yes, there was a whole closet I kept all my extra stuff in and that was what I pulled from for gifts every year. And we held an annual "Christmas Expo" when you could invite your customers and former downline to buy products to give away for Christmas. It was a great way to get customers or IBOs who are inactive reengaged by inviting them to the event.
I’m in the middle of the video and just heard about the sweet Australian woman having moved out to the country. Oof, yeah. She’s likely to be extremely isolated.
Christmas craft fairs here (Nova Scotia, Canada) are full of mlm reps. The craft fairs call them 'vendors' or 'direct sellers'. I used to sell at craft fairs (things I actually made, not mlm stuff) and it was hard to find shows that were for actual crafters only. I also saw an ad for a craft fair last year where almost all of the listed sellers were different mlms.
Great vid!! Love the festive spin. As someone who just got back from early Xmas with a cousin who told us her Herbalife storefront woes (there’s 4 on this street alone!) and put colorstreet in everyone’s stockings, I very much appreciate the jab at MLMers’ shady holiday tactics
A $300 Advent calendar!?!? My partner got me a $250 Advent calendar as a birthday/Christmas combo gift that has a different 50g skein of hand dyed wool yarn from an indie dyer every day!!!!! If I shelled out $50 MORE and got a wood ornament day one I would riot.
Oh my gosh - I did that last year for advent for the same price! This year I decided to go with a calendar from a person who makes ceramic ornaments etc.
Hannah, you have unapologetically been spitting truth and I don’t want you to stop. I have been watching you from the beginning and I love the confidence you have been getting to call out the nonsense and clearly say how ridiculous these huns are. Keep it up!!
That Christmas bazaar is in Killeen Texas, Killeen is a military post town. As you already know MLM's target military wives. Those "rent to own" places also are big there and also predatory. I hated Killeen.

I don't think multi-million dollar companies are what people usually mean when they say support local businesses.
There are plenty of multimillion dollar companies local to me where the ppl started them here and are still here and would 109% support them if I need their service or product but an mlm isn’t their ground up business 😂
The advent calnder shaped like a pyramid, I CANNOT 🤣
I feel so badly for the Christmas Bazaar crafters, those selling things they personally made, trying to sell next to mlm reps. I’ve been there (I sell hand dyed yarn and hand made bags) and it’s so frustrating to be next to a big company’s products at one of these events.
UGH- I agree. MLMs should be banned from craft fairs!
I agree! I do knit and crochet projects, Diamond art, etc. I was just at a sale yesterday and sold a grand total of 4 items…the MLM tables were right by the door…
@@MusikGirl23 Maddening!

@@BedeSisters awe thanks :) I do put love and effort into every piece!
What’s ur small business? I’d love to check it out ♥️♥️ I love supporting actual small businesses
My mom grew up with carnie (carnival stand owners) parents… as she always told me “Don’t be a mark”. Meaning don’t get duped like so many others do. I’m glad that strong sense of skepticism has carried me through life not being led into bad situations like joining an MLM.
I’m happy with my Lindt advent calendar where I get a piece of awesome chocolate every day 🤷🏻♀️
I bet it was less than 300 dollars 😂
Now THAT'S value !
my £3 cadbury advent calendar!!
Omg I just KNEW that triangle advent calendar was gonna be expensive but 300?????? Holy moly
I find it insane how they preach of it being an amazing opportunity and compensation system whilst begging people to buy and telling everyone how broke they are
I can’t get over the pyramid scheme shaped advent calendar 😂😂😂 Hannah, I hope that you and your family have a wonderful Christmas! ❤
Oh my gosh I didn’t even mention that it was pyramid-shaped! 😂 major fail on my part hahaha
I didn’t even CATCH that
Omg here is the aftermath of recruiting new girls from Australia. They only just started and you can hear the desperation in them already.
Lol
i'm still confused on what MLM is
@@GentaroYumeno MLM stands for Multi Level Marketing and it means a business where the person selling items for the MLM company also is required to get other people to sign up and sell items for the company in order to make money (because they make money from the people they sign up). It’s very unethical because the majority of people working for MLM companies don’t make money even though they work hard. These companies often show up at fairs and markets pretending to be small businesses. Think pampered chef, paparazzi, stampin up, scentscy, thirty-one gifts, etc
“It helps put money in my bank account before Christmas” and takes money out of your bank account before Xmas. 🙃
😏😏😏👏👏
As someone who sells actual hand made items, it drives me nuts that literally HALF the vendors at most markets are freaking MLMs 🙄
Agreed. Agreed…
We should start our own and exclude mlm and import shops
I got an Advent calendar this year from a normal company. It was $150 for 24 full size skin care and makeup items. That MLM calendar is a rip-off.
Me “oh those cosmetic bags are cute, Monat sells those?” Her: I got these from Kmart. 🤣🤣
I thought the same.
same i was like "there's no way monat sells those-- oh."
If Monat sold them they'd cost $250 😂
16:12 selfless and thoughtful would be saying “here try this, if you like it, I’ll get it for you at cost”
I participate in sales organized by a certain group and while they do allow one of each MLM up to a certain number-like 15 total MLMs-I love that they put them in a separate area, all in one line. I’ve been to craft sales where they have them all mixed in and I hate that.
It's so sad that any legit small business at that holiday bazaar inevitably had their sales impacted by all those MLM huns :/
“Sounds free to me” lol mlm reps are so brandwashed they literally think that when you buy an item and you get than item that it’s free bc they are used to paying for things with zero return 😂😂😂
Advent is 4 weeks before Christmas, 12 days of Christmas is the 12 days *after* Christmas
Don't feel to sad, they're actively trying to scam other people by recruiting them
Just let that sink in - if they can offer an advent calender where the products inside are basically 50% discounted and THEN, on top of it, the company can offer a 40% discount for each product on their website.... eh, just think of the fkn MARGIN these products have when they are offered to you with their regular price... they are STILL making lots of money when the price is cut in half... YIKES
MLM insanity... Truly the best gift of all ✨
I'm having a hard time surviving my last Monday before Christmas--thanks for making it a bit easier!
Top Fail 5: Is it just me or can you hear her 'crying' and 'desparation' in her voice? Holy crap. This woman is desperately unhappy.
Money you EARNED because you failed to spend it !! 😄😄
😂💀
I agree that craft shows should stop letting MLMs in. They’re just taking space from actual creators/vendors
The policies shpuld be "if it's not designed or created by you, it has no place in a craft fair, because you didn't actually CRAFT ANYTHING!
@@Brain_Kandi 100% this!!!
That lady #5 literally went"Please buy my MLM because I'm not making any money with it"
*30 seconds later* "You guys should sign up for the MLM to make money, you could get like $1,000 in a few months, so easy right?"
I think you need to make this bingo card for people who end up at craft fairs anyway next.
Honestly, just to have in our back pockets, then someone can send in a horror story telling us how it went
The Xmas seller who wants to hit the next level made me awfully sad. It smells of desperation.
Dear lord I’ve just found Monat in France (my current living country), 😭 and the problem is that in Europe, we don’t have this MLM culture at all, like raising awareness will be something challenging
Factor is literally the only premade meal service I’ve liked. I get a box every other week. Great partnership!
Can you imagine how sick and tired of it the people in her life are? Oh thank you! You got me monat……..again
*immediately tosses 20th vial of Rejuvenique oil after sister leaves*
The girl that was asking for help sounds so doubtfull while promoting the business.
My cousin is in Scentsy and every year they collect stuffed animals to give to kids in the hospital. But only Scentsy stuffed animals! Ridiculous.
Excellent. That's the right direction

How... wonderful.
I've been in bed all day (exhaustion) and your intro literally made me get out of it; need hot chocolate. Thank you.❤️
Holiday Hun Madness! I am down for it! This calls for another cup of coffee and a cookie exchange cookie!
I love how these huns said in the most words that they’re glad they scammed people to buy overpriced low-to-mid-quality products just to fill their own pockets with their victim’s money
I remember one of my wake up calls was when my SIL bought tastefully simple from me only to gift it back to me 😄😄😄
Not that I didn’t like the stuff, but something about it made me realize people didn’t really want to buy it for all thier family and friends 😂😂😂
Oh also, I run a small craft business… I try to avoid events that allow MLMs. It’s definitely hard to do but there are a few out there. What’s crazy is I’ll see posts saying “we are full on Scentsy, Papparazi, etc but we have space for Arbonne” or something along those lines.
I feel bad. I used to do this too, not realizing how manipulative it was. It's hard when you're in it.
Now you're out and that's great
I went to a bizarre recently. I made a point to avoid every single mlm and instead bought from the true small business owners.
I love how the first item on the video is an advent calendar in the shape of a ...PYRAMID!! 😭
Nuh uh!! It's a Christmas tree lol (I'm being totally sarcastic)
@@meaghannemack82 🤣
We just went to one of our kids holiday bazaars and to my horror, the one mlm booth that was there was OPTAVIA 🤢
Yikes 😬😳
I was so dissapointed to see two of my old coworkers joining Monat.
The first one clearly fell for the "you can work AND stay at home with your babies" BS
The second one has major social anxiety and further had guilt that she relies financially on her husband because of it, so the first woman sold her on her downline with the promise of working from home while still being able to connect with woman worldwide
So sad
Our once a year holiday bazaar is slowly allowing MLM huns to set up booths. I’ve made sure to point them out to friends.
I laughed when you said loudly: “Who would wanna GIFT themselves a job?!”😂😂😂
I just about spit out my drink at the price of that Advent calendar. $300! WTF!
The local craft fairs around here are letting Pure Romance set up a booth. In the GRADE SCHOOLS.
🤢🤢🤢
Oh sweet baby Jesus
If only mlmers put their passion and hard work into forming a skill or trade, they could legit follow most of their own advice and actually do something great! Art, content creation, freelance work for countless skills--the options these days are endless! And they legit DO give you satisfaction in yourself and your work. You can start from nothing and work to make something of yourself, all without a soulless, toxic company.
I've been binging Hannah's channel lately. Whenever her cats start meowing in the background I look for my cat to see what she wants before remembering it's probably one of Hannah's 😅
that advent calendar is also only 12 days. most advents are 24 or 25 😅
My grandfather (yes, grandfather!) was involved in Avon for years. He lived in a village of like 200 people, with no cosmetics shop around, so it was quite popular there because he got everything in the mail... All the Avon stuff we were gifted every year LMAO
A holiday themed video from Hannah? Santa IS real! ✨ 🎉
That Arbonne store front is so bizarre, serious brainwashing
I’m so happy that many of our local craft pop up places like at the mall and farmers markets they don’t allow mlm at all. It takes away from actual small businesses! More places should start catching on.
Yeah, in my area it's becoming more and more the norm for bazaars or other shows like this to be strictly artisans only, not MLMs. (Fortunately)
I think the public is starting to comment and ask for MLM free fairs
At least the ornament is wood so it’s more likely to decompose when it gets tossed in a few years when the rep leaves the company
The way I just gasped and inhaled all the air in this room when you said $300!
The MLM bingo idea is something that should absolutely happen!
Haha even Bobs Burgers has an episode about the trap of MLMs! I was so excited when I watched that episode
There was a kangen water filter booth at the most recent craft fair I went to 😫 And a Christian mlm I'd never heard of before! I was so disappointed.
Like they made the water filters 😂
I adore your humor Hannah and when you’re fired up like you are in this video…well that’s the best holiday gift of all 🎄❤️🎄❤️🎄
I’m in the middle of the video and just heard about the sweet Australian woman having moved out to the country. Oof, yeah. She’s likely to be extremely isolated.
the advent calendar is giving the Chanel one that just had stickers and paper ornaments 😂 love your videos Hannah!
Have you seen the new Disney/Swarovski one? It's over a thousand and has stickers 😅
The Advent calendar is just the products without the markup for the rep 😂
Who wants more work for Christmas?? Exactly. What a terrible gift. 😂 You crack me up.
