Just found your channel. Aside from the fact that you can articulate yourself very well, you are also very informative! I subscribed :) I am about to be 26 and I really want to join the Marines. However, I just got married in June. Hence, why I am looking into the reserves rather than active duty. I want to fulfill my dream of becoming a Marine, and still be able to be at home with my wife. Compromises.. haha. Thank you for all your tips!
Mr Tactical Giant how’s my Physical fitness? Or my half marathons? My physical fitness is pretty good. 285 PFT 278 CFT. I’d say running is a really good way to get into shape. PFT is almost all endurance. I’d say just do a lot of calisthenics if you want to be in good shape.
Cool thanks, I'm thinking of starting like a pft related workout before breakfast then body weight training, then late afternoon some weight lifting. Sounds alot but I can't find a workout program that would benefit if it me. I live in the mountains and want to train. Any suggestions?

Hey there! Shipping out to bootcamp as a corpsman in november; this is about 8 months of schooling in total. How did you maintain your muscle during your time at bootcamp, mct etc.?
Arthur Suayngam it's impossible to maintain your muscle mass during marine boot camp and MCT since you will never have access to a gym and all PT is geared towards cardio. I was able to hit the gym again during MOS school.
I’m afraid to overtrain. I’m going to do this MARSOC 10 week training app (shooting for MARSOC raider role eventually) and I’m taking up track as wel as tennis, while trying to gain weight and build muscle. Any tips on something like that
I found your channel yesterday, and I'm so damn glad I did! What are your social media accounts? I have some questions about the Marines if you don't mind :)
What is your height and lifting weight max for bench deadlift and squat ? I'm 16 and 220 pounds and I am 5 feet 10. I am still thinking about whether to do reserves or active because I want to become an fbi agent or do business and your channel is giving me some thoughts. You and Navathebeast are the marines I watch on UA-cam great work thx!
tenzin lhawang im 5'10, 170lbs. My max bench is 315, deadlift is 550, and squat is 385. You're still pretty young so you have some time to think about it. Don't rush into anything until you have all the information. Good luck man!
my recruiter told me i only got to lose 15 pounds and weigh 276.....and 40 more pounds to enter boot camp? i feel like i need to lose atleast 60 pounds
Ok got a great question. I've got a total gym wanted a basic workout program that would be equal to the marine fitness program any suggestions for the total gym?
Going into a reserved route is the best when it comes to being in a relationship. You only get to go to your reserve unit once a month for the weekend and 2 weeks during the summer after you finished all your training. It's a great option. Talk to a military recruiter for more information.
Hey Sheldon! Just subscribed man but I was just curious. What are the rules with tattoos in the Marines? Also, is the reserves different in terms of tattoo policy?
Nate Donis reserves are not different. Anything that can’t be covered by underwear and average t shirt (halfway down bicep). Any calf tattoos, neck tattoos, forearm tattoos will disqualify you. Any other ones are an individual basis...
How tall are you?? I'm 6'1" 217 pounds. I have lots of muscle and they say I have to be 208 to go to boot camp. I have until April 1st to make weight. It has been a true struggle to lose weight. I've been in caloric deficit and intermittent fasting while running 3-4 miles a day. I've always been alot heavier than I looked bc I was a regional powerlifter and defense linemen.

Ever hear of Marine Raiders? They belong to the Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC) and operate under Special Operations Command (SOCOM) with seals, rangers, and pj's. Raiders are currently leading SOCOM operations in Afghanistan.
No. Anyone reading this, ignore this completely. Think about this. The drop rate for ranger school is 60% or so. THOSE ARE SOLDIERS DROPPING FROM RANGER SCHOOL. Recon has a drop rate around 70%... Here are reasons why, you're not a good looking guy and your muscle and physique is not impressive at all even though you think you are a badass. Hey man can you come up with a Week long workout routine for us to follow week to week to prepare for the Marines?
Dawn Brady I was definitely thinking about doing this. Thanks for the idea!
