Can someone pretty please set her up with a great choreographer?! She could have an even more amazing routine!
I thought this was much better than last years routine. I just always want to take her shoulders and roll them back. She looks like she is always hunched over. I do enjoy her tumbling.
Yes there's no dance in the routine just amazing acrobatic skills and hands movements.

People don’t realize it but jade’s form is very on point. Even her splits reach around 180. Hopefully her routine in 2020 will be artistic and connected
Swimmer Athlete considering how her artistry has barely improved over the past few years, I’m not holding my breath. Her form is good and her difficulty is insane but omg she’s like a robot until the music stops.
Oh no, we realize that. We all compliment her on tumbling and form. But her choreography is lackluster
Her tumbling is amazing with high difficulty but she does have form errors especially flexed feet and leg separation. She could medal with this routine but she should be more artistic and she needs a better choreographer to actually make the crowd enjoy. Her floor routines are super boring to watch.

With her great form, solid landings and decent leaps I don’t even mind her choreo😄
she doesnt have great form. She has decent form. None of her skills are refined.
RealTalk the girl can hit a split and there’s nothing wrong with her Moors. I appreciate that she goes for the stick on her passes instead of rebounding to a leap (which to me screams I can’t stick)

Just speculation, but maybe they have tried different choreo and decided to go back to poses. The conserving energy thing makes some sense. Again, I am totally guessing. It would be interesting to see how routines are created.
Raisman had similar issues with choreography - excellent tumbler, not so much at dance. But she worked on it as much as possible cuz artistry tenths
I’ve said this before, and I know it makes a little more sense for her to be a specialist, but like, she’s honestly not a bad all-arounderer. Not phenomenal but really not at all without ability on beam and bars. I feel she’s un-utilized and under appreciated in that respect
Regardless, I think she’ll almost definitely come out of Tokyo with some individual hardware
I agree with both of you jade has basically secured her spot to the Olympic i like everyone else and if she continues on the path she’s on she has a great chance of more than just a aVT/floor medal
Easton the extra year helped her so much the improvement is incredible
She did a good Job i know she would be in the top 5 all around. For team her Vault and Floor is very valuable. She improved alot on beam as well.
This should have got at least a 14.8 depending on the artistry deductions
The tumbling was very good, but the dance elements were not well-executed. This choreography is just too choppy; there was no emotion and fluidity -- I felt like I was watching a robot perform out there

Whose is better? Simone’s? Maybe her’s is cleaner in the air but she went a year and a little bit unable to land without incurring big deductions. I know you’re not gonna say Skinner’s or Amy Tinkler’s is better. Who then? I seriously don’t understand why people hate Jade so much. To me it seems like US judging is being overly critical on her, along with pretty much everyone else. Like it or not, Jade is almost guaranteed to go to Tokyo at this point

I get her dance doesn’t have this so called “style” you speak of, but come on. This is why this sport sucks so much. People like you who have to say the wildest of things in order to be negative and bring someone else down.
Jade is an awesome gymnast! She had a few fumbles but overall her routine was simply amazing!!!!

Interestingly, this is an almost identical score (both E and D score wise) as her Tokyo gold medal routine. Talk about consistency 🙌

i'm very worried that jade's reputation is as an unartistic gymnast is beyond repair. she needs to get real choreography, yesterday. in this routine, she got only an 8.0 execution score, despite having great form & stellar landings on insanely difficult tumbling passes - mykayla skinner got the same exact execution score despite having far worse form. the artistry deduction is a killer. at this rate, jade might not be a lock for the top 2 USA floor gymnasts (and olympic final).
She probably lost about half a point on the last tumbling pass. Even with the huge error, she still had the second highest floor score right behind Simone. The Floor judges were brutal to most everyone. She scored 14.6 and 14.433 at the two World Cup events, so that last bobble was very costly. Despite the "UA-cam Judges" constant complaining, Jade is no less artistic than about 70% of the world's routines. Very few routines seem to have any connection to the music at all. Jade is the World Silver medalist and two time World Cup Gold medalist on floor, so.... If people want great dance, then go watch a dance competition.
Her e-score has nothing to do with her crappy choreography. Choreography deductions come come out as neutral deductions not execution deductions
I don't think so. She got 14.300 with worse e score than at worlds last year. With this score over 14 she IS garanteed a medal at worlds and even olympics. Which is a shame. But oh well, blame it on all the other gymnasts that despite having minimum artisty can't improve their D score...
Katy Kenley Choreo deductions are in execution and always have been.
@@katk5462 no they don't. Choreography and dance/expression deductions are taken from the E-score. Looking at the code, one might take around 0.5 points for the artistic performance. But idk, it's highly subjective, judges may also take no deductions..

You leave uneducated, mean comments on every video I've seen. Imagine caring about how someone runs into some of the most difficult tumbling in the world. Better get used to it because you'll be seeing a lot more of her in Tokyo;)
Sadly this routine just shows where Artistic Gymnastics is headed. You might as well just call this trampoline. The floor is becoming even bouncier and bouncier. Everytime you watch one of Jade's landings, you can see the whole floor bounce back up, especially the corners. This makes it clearly evident that the floor has become more like a trampoline than a mat. All the gymnastics greats in the 80's and 90's would easily have tumbled like this when the floor is so bouncy. Why have floor music anymore? Seriously? If all they will do is reward high difficult tumbling skills, what is the point. I find this to be very very frustrating. Equal emphasis should be on dance and interpretation of the music. Again, I find it incredibly sad. No one can tell me this routine even comes close to the level of sophistication and beauty as a routine like this....Ironically Svetlana is years younger too and appears more sophisticated and artistic. The worst is her standing in the corners with one leg crossed over the other, to avoid deductions for standing in both feet, so lame.
