This is one of her best performances. She is not a dancer but at least her posing is choreographed perfectly to the music. She did do a little hip movement that would be considered dance at one corner at 0:57 and then that one movement on the floor at 1:30.

Most American elite gymnasts have had some ballet training or can dance in at least one genre, like Shilese Jones and Leanne Wong. Riley McCusker and Kara Eaker used to dance ballet. Jade is just not a dancer, which no amount of training can fix. Good choreography can help hide her lack of rhythm and slow pace.
Which are different sports, so why is it even required, for basically one event. And no, I've never seen anyone dance on beam, so it’s just for floor which works perfect well without dance in MAG. The FIG is just being as sexist as always, thinking strong women must balance out their power by pretending to be an elegant fairy between their superhero tumbling. 🙄

The Russians and other teams also incorporate ballet/dance early in their gymnastics careers and it shows. The code has also changed to make artistry a priority again. Also, there is literally a USA Tumbling team. The women’s team recently took home the bronze medal at the World Championships. Jade isn’t as bad as Mykayla Skinner, but her skills seem better suited for the Tumbling team. Maybe she only stays in Artistic gymnastics for Vault, idk.

There is definitely an improvement, but I wouldn’t go so far to say that it’s “fixed”. I want to see her get to the point where you can tell that she’s settled into the music and not just counting. That part is still VERY evident.
I'm SUPER glad her choreography has stepped up, because it was so bad previously that it was doing her a serious disservice. She still needs to step it up but if she improves it the same amount as she already has, it will be so much better!!!

The sport of gymnastics has always been full of mendicants like yourself and some of the fools at the top of the FIG who want to take the personalization and individualism of the sport and destroy it. Perhaps what should happen is only those who can win dancing with the stars but can’t tumble to save their own lives should be allowed to do gymnastics- that would certainly satisfy sods like yourself.
