@@Zubair-Khan There is no such thing called IOK. India has the Instrument of Accession by the then Maharaj Hari Singh, making it a legally Indian territory. Pakistan is in illegal occupation and has no locus standi in the matter and their occupation is illegal and hence it is called POK no the other way around.

@@Zubair-Khan Read the history and historic evidence properly. Pakistan is the one who violated the Standstill Agreement between the Princely state of Kashmir and Pakistan. India didn't sign the Standstill Agreement but agreed to the terms. It was Pakistan who openly violated the Standstill Agreement and only then Maharaj Hari Singh asked for India's help which we disagree to help because it was not our sovereign part of our country, that's why Maharaj Hari Singh signed the Instrument of Accession making Kashmir legally Indian territory and the final say was always with the head of the princely states regardless of the religion of the population of that particular princely state. Read the history not whatever's distorted stuff you have taught of Zia ul haq's distorted version of history.
Well, there is no absolute truth in any incident based movies. I haven't seen Kerala story, so I can't talk about much. But many of Kashmiri pandit friends I know literally cried and thanked Film director of Kashmir Files, including Samay Raina - Stand Up comedian. Even Suresh Raina, Yami Gautam's husband Dhar, and thousands of Kashmiri Pandits whose family suffered appreciated and supported the movie. So I won't agree with you there for Kashmir Files, Shezhad. Anyway, it was an interesting conversation. 😅😅
It was very one sided that was the problem. It dehumanized every Kashmiri Muslim and Muslims on whole , that was the Problem.
@@imviiku by that manner, Schindler's List was also one-sided because they didn't focus anything about innocent German people genocide along with jews. So it's subjective. It doesn't work like that. The movie was focused on Kashmiri Pandits. It was not a documentary movie. Because mass exodus happened due to atrocities of extremist terrorist organizations funded by pakistan. The movie was specifically made for Kashmiri pandits, not for every event. Still in the last speech, he did mention about innocent Kashmiri Muslims, while in Schindler 's list, they didn't even mention innocent Germans. Don't think that I am comparing both movies. I am just comparing the subject here. Of course, Schindler's list is far more crafted movie than Kashmir Files because it's Steven Spielberg.

This conversation felt like a conversation between two versions of myself. A younger version who had a sense of naivety and idealism and the one which I've become now, a more aloof cynic. Felt like Daniyal is really struggling with an urge to see an ideal world which he hasn't been able to let go of while Shehzad is now the old man grunt who is getting amused at his idealistic musings. Good conversation both of you. My train journey is a little less boring because of this. Keep posting more.

Bro, I have been consuming your content for quite some time now and I really appreciate your approach and candidness. We need more content creators like you two, Junaid Akram, Syed Muzammil Shah etc. I have a request to not use "Karachi aur Sindh". That is one factual error and exclusion that can't be justified with intentions.

I actually got a traffic installed in Maryland.. It took a year but it was installed. I had witnessed a few accidents as the sight line was defective and one could not see the approaching traffic at the cross road , causing inadvertent accidents. Once I made clear that a person can get into an accident through no fault , they paid attention.
We even got a road side that was full of debris and trash cleaned up. The road was near our masjid in Salisbury MD and made an unsightly drive into the masjid. The local county cleaned it up within days of our complaint , which was politely written and sent to them via email. After the cleanup, We wrote them a thank you letter.

Both of you, Cover more Karachi Issues & University Students' Issues regarding Career & Future (bring some content related to Academics).
Nice going Shehzad, I enjoy your content more when it's not focused on PTI. It would be great to see more neutral videos and less focus on a criticizing single political party. Your non-political, social-issue videos are better. For political content, consider inviting PTI anchors too, like you did with Absar Alam from PMLN.
Yaar Podcast is a technology, not a medium. NPR/BBC/PBS releases it's radio shows as podcasts.They are not 3 hour interview shows. They also publish podcasts exclusively. There are people who still publish video podcasts. As in videos distributed via RSS on Podcast clients. Trying to box this technology inside a specific mediums limits the possibilities.
Daniyal Sheikh refers to Dhruv Rathee as if he's the beacon of truth. Please do your own research on what is the state of conversion in Kerala and you'll know that the real numbers of forced conversion is in 1000s

Illegal weapons are one of the main reasons for violent Street crimes, if you strictly control them, then the crimes will be reduced to a great extent.
Please do your research of kashmir pandits exodus instead of movie, then imagine even in India people are not aware of it. The movie just give aware people. I do agree the director is not a noble person but it was really brutal and still who did this is still roaming freely

45:30 actually even if they dont have resources, the police is still corrupt. My brothers iphone got stolen and he went to place an FIR , The police tried to also make a case against him seeing he came from money they tried to frame him for losing his phone while playing juwaa. My brothers friend had actually stolen his phone that is why the police was making this case against him but with no evidence whatsoever and just to get a few extra rupees from him. In the end we stopped going to the police for help.

Living in denial and arrogance is a norm in Pakistan I guess. You don't need to watch The Kashmir Files, just the read the testimonies, facts, evidence and at the very least acknowledge the Kashmiri pandits genocide. READ. Don't be a genocide denier.
