    As a former parts manager at a Dodge, Jeep, Toyota dealership O.E.M. parts are the best way to go for body parts.

    I am noticing a few differences in this video. Whether it is on purpose or not, I personally like them. Emily , more mellow, Aaron talking more, and being relaxed too. You are so cute together.

    It has been my experience that all that work that you put in to the fitment of the parts and finish will be well worth it going forward. Very few will appreciate the hours but you will and that's what counts. I agree with your decision to go with the new bumper. A few more dollars and a nice ride with your sweetie...yup it's worth it.     Corvette Tip--> When closing the hood, hold it in the middle about 8-10 inches above where it locks. Drop it and both sides should lock. If not, sum-ting-wong...
    You guys doing an awesome job putting it back together the right way! Man, sure looks like previous owner treated it like his daily beater car. Beat to fit, paint to match.

    This is the first video on YT that actually shows what is all involved in making aftermarket Corvette body panels fit a factory car. Most kids just bolt this crap on their cars and it looks like garbage.

    It's nice to see how much time you are taking to detail. People think they can just wrap a car and cover up any blemishes and that's definitely not the case. A good wrap job will show them just as if you painted it. Love and hugs from Waco.😁

    You can get glass beads for fiberglass resin to create a filler material. It's used a lot on boat work. Ought to hold much better than Bond-O.

    I had a cousin that was a body man, back in the 1960's thru the the mid 1980's. Shop about the size of your garage. He was very good. So good that the Ford and Chevrolet dealers in town sent body work to him, that require that "extra" touch. He made a good living!! I always thought, "No way I could be that patient"!! I mean, who can sit and watch paint dry!!! lol. Good work to both of you.

    This is a nice testamonital for using Genuine parts. I sold them for 42 years and have heard many body shops complaning about the aftermarket parts the insurance companies compel them to use.

    Looking good guys. You are doing all the hard work. Probably could have had it sprayed fairly cheap with all the body prep you’ve done but I’m sure the wrap will look great !

    You might have to test a spot on the bumper with some wrap. I watch Paradox Styling on youtube, and he winds up having to sand delrin bumpers and spray an adhesion promoter on it before it can wrapped. The Vette is looking AWESOME!

    Great to see you guys getting new projects done! I'm recovering from a stroke that dropped me like a rock 3 weeks ago and 5 days in the hospital, glad to be alive and no ill effects from the stroke other than getting tired easily. Ready to resume my own projects here at my place real soon!

    I don't know how much time Aaron has spent in the past doing fiberglass and Bondo work on cars but he is sure doing an impressive job on the Vette. I'm sure many people can learn a few tricks just by watching the videos.

    Thanks for another inspiring video I love the thermal quad t-shirt back in the day had a big block Chevy with a tunnel ram with dual thermal quads all my friends thought I was nuts then I really made him look I had two Quadra Jets on a tunnel ram they thought it would never work it actually work great the things screamed have a great day

    Great job you two! Glad to see you taking some of the stress off of you and Letting @adrianberryhill do some of the editing so you guys can focus on getting her ready for your trip.
    The fiberglass bondo you are using will hold up well. I used the same product on a " it needs no work just bolt on and go" hood for a foxbody that needed the corners worked over like your fenders.

    Your patience fitting those aftermarket parts impresses me on a cold, Norwegian sunday (-20C/-4F).
    I'm told that green cars are old fashioned, but that sparkling green wrap will make your Corvette stand out! (And I'm not a Corvette guy).
    Hoping for more working/rebuild/restoring videos in the future!

    When I did bodywork 20 years ago, we had a product just like what y'all are using called Dura-Glas...Same color and its 100% better than regular bondo-like filler...

    The minute I heard Aaron say he saw orange peel under the wrap I knew that car was getting wet sanded with at least 800 grit, and I agree put a little extra work in now as it’ll make the final result that much nicer. And I think you’ll appreciate it as well Emily, cause you know if Aaron got it all wrapped and he was able to see those imperfections he’d be complaining about it until he pulled the wrap off and redid it. It’s starting to come together and I agree grabbing that front clip was a great idea and those new headlights look sweet
