I got one in my email the other day. I was highly suspicious and deleted it. Thanks for confirming it.
But the Indian guy on the phone told me if I sent him $500 in Walmart gift cards I could receive an old creeper caster with some of your hair stuck in it.
@@justinwatch You’re too good 😜
I'm glad Aaron is back in the shop he is smart I wish I was that smary
Thank y’all so much for trusting your core group enough to share your private medical issues. So very sorry to hear that happened Aaron. From one Texan to two others, here’s to you both. We’ve really missed your content but certainly understand why y’all were absent. Love that you’re back. Get healthy brother!
Love and appreciation abounds!!! ❤
Aaron prayers and more prayers It’s ruff not being Able to do stuff I’m a burn Survivor it takes time and Patience
What an absolutely wonderfully refreshing and honest appealing attractive couple. I've only just joined your subscription base and I am so happy I stumbled upon your channel. Thank you from Australia 🇦🇺 🙏
Glad you’re back and healing. In 2018, at age 62, I was living in China and feeling fine. It’s been a downhill stroke since then…bad knees, crumbling discs in the lower back and AFIB on top of it all. We’re back on our homestead in northeast Tennessee, and at age 67, I’m shot. It can happen in a heartbeat…even a skipping heartbeat. Enjoy each and every day, for the Blessing that it truly is. Great content.
So glad to see Aaron back in action. I'm sure it must be weird to know that random people are honestly worried about your well-being but here we are.
Hahaha, it is kind of a wild feeling! We are truly grateful for all the love and support from this community!
Take it easy Aaron, give your body time to repair. That Corvette is so lucky to have found you guys.
Glad to hear Arron is on the mend and back in the shop with you, finley and the kid ! She sure is growing up fast! 🙏👍
I am the king of multiple projects that never seem to complete. I started an outdoor kitchen remodel 13 months ago, then got sidetracked by a rental house that caught on fire, then got sidetracked by a rental house that was ruined by dogs, then started to repaint the inside of my home, then we didn’t like the shade of white, so we started over again, then work got in the way, then we had a freeze and killed all of our landscaping, then I decided to build my five year old a loft, now my nine year old wants one as well, painted her room multiple colors, now I’m back to the main part of the house working on the white paint everywhere. Also oh swapping out all Canlite‘s for LEDs fixtures. Oh and I’m trying to redo part of the backyard as a soccer field for my son. I love all the projects. Some say it may be ADD. But here’s the thing when you’re doing a project. It’s fun to bounce around. It would be similar to eating the same dish at every meal for a month straight. Sometimes it’s fun to bounce around and have a chimichanga from time to time!
Awesome to see Aaron back in the shop!! Good to see he also kept his sense of humor through it all. Nothing is more frustrating than not being able to do what you love but I know with the support he has from Emily and everyone else he will be back to full force in no time.
Couldn't agree more! Thank you so much!
Must have been the right amount of silicone on the bolt. However it's still leaking. Wonder if it could be the back of the intake manifold, valve cover, or oil pressure sensor. Glad to see ya healing Aaron.
I really hope you do an un edited cold start challenge on your entire fleet. Including your boat, riding mowers, etc!
That would be fun 😌
I can totally understand Aaron’s frustration during his time off and it’s good to see him back on his wheels. I am in similar situation with a failed back surgery where I find it difficult to bend over to pick up the simple objects off of the floor. Fortunately he’s married to a amazing young lady who is not afraid to work on anything!
I am a chick who had a lot of fun fixing up a car or two, and I love that you guys have been finding some great restoration projects. I maxed at 5 projects at once, but only I think because I only had a shade tree shop to work with. Lol. Glad to hear that your shoulders are mending dude. Seizures are no joke. They can really tear you up! Take care ya'll!
So good to see Aaron again and that he is making progress on his recovery. Sure did miss him not being there in the shop.
I have 57 Chevy project, 46 Ford Truck, Grumman bread van, Caprice Cop Car, 1951 Mercury that I haven’t told anyone about and a squarebody 4 by 4. All the other ones run and drive. But so do two of those listed. Oh, and a 36 Ford. Glad everyone is healing up.
What a woman ! Love her enthusiasm and such love to work on cars. Her SMILE alone is so nice !
Thank you for sharing Aaron's medical issue. We will continue to pray for both of you and I am so glad to hear he's on the mend
I have five cars and thought that was a lot. But like yours they all run, even my antiques. But now my wife and I are having the house remodeled. Again! It's always something.
I'm glad to see Aaron is back and getting better . He'll be back to 100% before you know it . The Kid is growing like a weed too . I haven't finished watching the video yet but I had to stop and let y'all know how happy I was to see Aaron and y'all back in the shop .
Sure do thank you for your support and encouragement 😊
Everyone asks what her first project car will be, and many have ideas of what it should be. I suggested a Saab 900 or 9-3 as she could survive being hit by a couple hundred tons of locomotives (look up saab train crash, the video's on youtube) or a roll-over (Topgear dropped one from a crane on its roof) and there's lots of interior space and the engine bay of the 900 is huge for her to crawl around in.
Emily is a trooper and has done a great job Aaron, just take care of yourself Aaron and it will all work out. Good to see you back on the videos bud!
I enjoy seeing your little shop grow as you guys grow. Your car collection grows. Tools grow. Even the kid is growing. I remember how little she was back when you were working on Roxy.
Hey Aaron, great that you're back! Even greater that You're noticeably healing! Must have been a huge fright for both of you!
The support came because you're good people and we all love you for it. It also hasn't gone unnoticed how Emily stepped up and kept the channel going with her usual joy at what must be a super-tough time!
Sure do appreciate these observations and the kindness and love!! We’re so grateful for y’all!❤
@text8394 STOP TRYING TO SCAM PEOPLE
I have three projects so far for the past about 4 years.
1970 Chevy C10 - Old farm truck that needs some carb work and a new starter. Probably new wiring harness too. Stalled because of parts shortages
1986 Ford F250 - Needs new starter and clutch. Stalled because of DMV paperwork
1952 Kaiser Manhattan Club Coupe - Is rough, Possum lived in it and tore up the interior and all the wiring. Working on an engine and transmission swap. Stalled because of lack of parts.
What a great day seeing you two back working in the garage and Aaron driving the C6.
The Vice Grip Garage hand gestures while explaining the bent lower radiator bracket 👌
Lol! As I was doing it I was like, oh… Derek has trademarked this 🥹😂
Great to see Aaron on the mend, look after yourself buddy and don't rush the recovery, we'll always be here to support you both , Alan UK
So glad Aaron wasn't hurt bad AND to see Aaron back in action, too! Quick temporary hack for the old Roxy engine powered Chevette (To slow down the Rear seal or rear pan leak) is; negative crankcase pressure. Maybe, get rid of the PCV valve and just go with straight vacuum (is an idea). Also, slight possiblity of sucking the rear seal or seals back in to place, keep an eye on it and once the leak stops or slows down, might be able to put the pvc valve back in and all will be fine.
IF it works, is it really a dumb idea?!!
Great to see Aaron back in the videos and both of you in the garage. The more physical work you do will get you back to yourself in no time. Aaron your looking good, of course Emily always looks good.
I bought a crashed C6 a few months ago and it's already on the road. I've been fixing the little things as I go. You're gonna love your car!
Aaron, so happy to hear you're getting better and keep up the hard work!!! Thank you for posting and reassuring all of us. This trial will help you two bond even closer, if that's possible, and enable to guys to tackle bigger challenges in the future as a couple!
That’s the goal!!! We’re learning LOTS and growing together ❤
"Hackery"!? Love it! Glad to see you on the mend Aaron. Was weird to not see/hear you on the videos but Emily (and the "Kid") did great. They kept it fun. Don't push it. Slow healing lasts longer. Lots of Luck guys!!
I really appreciate the update on Aaron. Sorry to hear of that CA episode, but happy to hear that there are better days ahead in the near term future. I hope all heals well and you find a great PT/OT person to help you get motion restored in your shoulders. That won't be fun at first, but will be invaluable for the years ahead.
I'm a Ford guy , having said that though , those LS engines are basically bullet proof . The Vette is looking better and sounding mean . I know y'all are going to enjoy it immensely . Keep making videos with whatever camera as long as y'all are enjoying doing it . Cause when y'all enjoy what you're doing we will love watching .
Back together in the garage again! Don’t think I’ve smiled this much in awhile. ☺️ Being vulnerable in front of a large audience is not easy, so hats off to you both for your courage. We love ya and pray that you ‘both’ heal from this season of your lives soon. 🙏🏻
You Two and a Half(kid) are the best!!!
Awesome to see Aaron getting back into the grove again. Praying for continued healing and may the future be bright. I was bummed when he wasn't able to make IOLA earlier this year. However was happy to have had the opportunity to meet him in 2021. I'm still smiling after being able to catch up with Emily both times in 2021 and again in 2022 at the IOLA show. I am forever grateful for Emily taking time to talk and take the selfies of us together. Wishing Emily and Aaron the best for 2023. Also good to see "the kid" helping out from time to time as well. :)
Sure appreciate your continued support! See ya in Iola!! ❤
@@flyingsparksgarage I will make the trek if it means getting another selfie and to say hello~!
Your oil.leak.could be.the oil pressure sending unit.
It's great to see Aaron again. I appreciate your giving us an update. I hope you continue to heal quickly.
As a local lake resident, I’m glad to see y’all getting some normalcy back in your lives. I have to say I’ve missed the regular uploads but family comes first, and we need Aaron back to good health. I’ll be sure to honk the next time I see y’all cruising down the road 🤘🏼.
Awww, hi!! Please do! Don’t hesitate to say hi! Sure do appreciate you being here 🥰
I know what you're dealing with. I had a one time grand mald seizure from severe dehydration when wheeling in the dunes a few years ago. Tore both my rotator cuffs. Needless to say, I stay hydrated. Also, I was cleared of epilepsy. You'll recover. 💪
Good to see Arron up on his feet again.. Hope he continues to heal and get well soon. Great video.
I've got a 4 post at my house and love it!! Yeah, have more than enough projects too - two 59 Morris Minors, 63 Morris Mini, 68 MGB, 73 GMC motorhome. Plans are to restore the Mini this winter - we'll see!
Thanks for sharing about health. Good to see our man back and smiling 🙂. Dont worry Aaron. You will be back slinging wrenches and cussing fasteners in no time. Good you got an awesome team to work with. Love seeing you all work together.
The band is back together 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳, continue your healing Aaron so happy to see your face. XOXO To you all.
So glad that Aaron is getting better! I missed you guys posting on a regular basis. Was great to see your helper again and would love to see her build her own project it looks like she is interested , anyway I hope you have a great day and. I will see you on the next one 😊😊
That’s so cool how you’re empowering your niece, to let her know she can do it. And planting the seeds of hot Rodding in her head and heart! Cudos to both of you !,,,
Super glad to see you again Aaron. Glad you got things handled and the path forward looks hopeful. And you've got an amazing partner there, try not to be TOO grumpy! 😀
I love C6's. I'd get one. My old neighbor had a z06 with the 427 for sale. Get you a sheet of blue board insulation and cut into 3 pieces. Use that instead of cardboard. You'll be glad you did. Trust me. And it washes off.
So glad to hear your on the mend Aaron . Stay well and know we are all thinking of you
Oh my God Aaron I can so relate…
I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s at age 44 and my wife had to take over all the tinkering on the cars.. when you said “I’m not mad at you I’m mad at me for not being able to do it”
oh my God that hit home so hard,, love you guys, great channel, great content good energy fantastic cars, love what you do,
keep it up.
Get well quick my brother
So GR8 to hear you're on the mend Aaron!!! I truly hope it won't end your flying tho!!! Medical took me out of my wings and oh how I miss it!! So glad you're doing better! God speed to a total mend! GR8 to see you, and Em of course too!!! My fave all time car is a '65 vette soft top but no way I could ever fit in one being 6'5" nor could I even afford one these days! You've got the perfect car there, a gr8 "driver"! No need for a show car you can't use without worrying you might scratch it. The guy that sold it to you should be ashamed of himself being a total hack tho!!! 😉🥰
Glad to see Aaron again. The guy who you sold you all the corvette should have included the headers for it, least he could do. Your videos have saved me in the last 5 yrs since my moms passing thank you so much
Aw, Bruce! ❤ thank you for that heartfelt message, we sure are grateful our videos have brought you joy in such a hard time!
Wow! Really sorry that happened to you Aaron!😮 We're glad you are healing well and wish you a speedy full recovery! You guys are awesome and we really enjoy your channel. 😎👍
Great to see y’all back…Aaron, Finley, The Kid, Momma & Emily. Yay! Merry Christmas!
Happy to hear you're doing better Aaron! Was wondering what happened and actually expected something like it, but didn't want to ask, because all in due time... Again good that you're getting back in there and hope to see you more often again... And we understand that you'd feel grumpy when you want to do stuff, but can't... who doesn't? Take you're time, healing takes time and try not to over do it ;).
You are one of the sweetest girls I’ve ever seen on UA-cam. It sure would be nice if you use some dodge products, there’s a lot of dodge fans out there that would probably love to watch a show you’re doing a great job. Thank you for the entertainment.
That’s very kind of you!!! More mopar projects, got it!
Glad you’re doing better Arron! Nice to see you back in the videos. You guy’s have a great channel and make a great team!! 💯👌🏻🎉🎉
It’s a family event. Awesome! I enjoy your unique senses of humor. Trimming the radius on the front trim piece, by scraping a curb later…lol. I’ve done it b4, myself. Such is life. Blessings y’all.
Warms my heart to see you and Aaron back in the shop again. Love you vuys, and following along with your projects.
We love and appreciate you too!!!
Reunited and it feels so good! Emily no doubt in my mind you can do anything! The trick is you don't have to. Pick and choose. Life is short as you well know now!
It’s awesome to see Aaron back and doing well! You definitely have a project there. Good luck and Happy Holidays to you guys. 🎁🎅🤶
I have a 92 Corvette. I am 78 years old. An old-time drag racer. I was starting on a Chevy 2 454 engine when I decided to get married in 1970.
OMG, that is way worse than what I had imagined. It is a relief to hear though that Aaron is okay and that it should not happen again. Take it easy though. Thanks for the update. The car does seem a little ... too hacky but I know you two will get it into tip-top shape in no time. It's gonna be great.
Continued prayers, behave during the healing, lol. Certainly know the feeling, hate relying on anybody else to get stuff done... As always, looking forward to more car stories. Thanx !
So good to see Aaron back and on the mend. Cheers guys!
so glad to see Arron back.
So happy to see Arron doing well and getting back to it. Wish you guys all the best , keep up the great content . Can't wait to see what you do with the Vette. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Merry Christmas and happy new year to you guys too! Thank you so much ❤
Welcome back Aaron, glad to see getting healthier. Don't push it. Really like the Corvette puzzle car. All the pieces will fit soon.👍👍👍👍
Glad to see your doing well Aaron 👍Take your time on your recovery 🙏you and Emily are amazing people ❤Have a wonderful holidays everyone.
Love y’all! Years ago I had chronic bilateral shoulder separations that never hindered my ambulance job or being a call firefighter EMT in two communities. Doctors told me eventually all the ligaments, tendons, and muscles would catch up and my shoulders wouldn’t slip. It almost kept me from a full time firefighter career, but here I am six years post 31 year career retirement. I know it’s not bone, but those joints would get sore from slipping in and out, especially the one time my dominant left arm wouldn’t pop back in. Having it set at the ER was insane, but it’s all past me now. Here’s to Aaron’s recovery! ✌🏼❤️🦞👑👑👑 Niece is a peach!
C6s with silver paint show off their curves so well in sunlight! Such a beautiful car! I can't wait to see what y'all do with her!
Good to see Aaron back doing what he loves I'll pray for full and speedy recovery and great to see Finley you guys take care.
Any 'Vette purchase is a calculated risk no matter what model and what year... Anyway, it's good to see Aaron again and back in the pink... From the home of PB Blaster Silicone spray.... Cleveland, Ohio... (Also, the home of Permatex brands...)
It's Good Too See All You Guy's Working Together ....Bless You All .......Peace
As someone with bad shoulders and multiple surgeries on them I can absolutely empathize with the frustration of loss of range of motion, strength, mobility, and self-sufficiency. I’m glad you’re progressing well, Aaron. Some days will be better than others and some days you’ll wonder why you seem to regress but you’ll power through with Emily’s love and support and your determination and be back at 100% before you know it. 🫶❤
Aaron I feel you. I had shoulder surgery a year ago. It does get better and you’ll be back to wrenching before you know it. Thanks for trusting us all with your personal issues. Always enjoy your shows.
Having augered myself into the ground in a bike crash and dislocated a shoulder, bruised the collarbone and kept riding, and then not icing anything when I got home....waking up as a giant swollen mass the next morning with ZERO ability to lift my right arm...I know the pain of trying to work a stick shift with an arm that won't move. It was four days before I could drive without having to shift using my left arm and basically using 3rd - 4th a lot to eliminate needing to move the extra inch to reach for 5th. Reverse was a pain being below 5th on my manual, and requiring pulling up on the lever to get past the syncro lockout.
Hi all, firstly nice to see Aaron being able to talk about personal illness(the older you get the more illnesses you get trust me), and great to see all the family getting hands-on tools, but how can I put the next bit nicely, although it must be nice to see mum bending over while looking under the car, a big unbreakable mirror and a light just might make it easier for all including Dad see what's underneath to look at.. trust me I now know the frustrations of now not being able to get down under a car, ME, EX oval racer for 14 years now unable to do all but the very basic tasks on cars - Old age and illness arrives too early for some, IT DID ME -lol.. But BIG RESPECT all of you guys..Love your videos over the pond here in coastal England.. Thanks again - Ian.
Glad Aaron is feeling better! Niece is still cute, liking the Vette!
Great to see you all. Nice Vette... love the Kid’s hair... continued prayers
We are so glad that Aaron is back in action!!!! You both have been in our thoughts and prayers, Love the new vet!!!! I had a friend who bought a brand new 1965 Stingray, drove it for a few yrs, then put it up for 15 yrs, he died and his widow sold it for a very large price. We are glad you both are doing well and we love the blog!! Thank you so much Merry Christmas and happy new year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good to see him recovering the vette is fun
That front fascia would have been moulded as one piece. So ripping it out the way you did is the only way it would have come out.
I have the 4x4 I'm working on, that's nearly to go for rego inspection. Long term I have an old 1960's Skoda that I need to import a windscreen for.
I have a feeling you need to pull the whole front end off and see what other damage is under there. It will also make changing the water pump easier. 🙃
Looks like you need a new pinion seal too.
If you're going to mod it, go a circuit racing direction. Since Roxy is modded for drag racing. Otherwise keep it pretty standard as a daily.
Big hugs to you Aaron, good to hear you're ok and driving again. Good to hear you're taking your time and letting your body recover.
Projects? I'm retired and am so busy that I'm thinking about going back to work to get some rest!
I have my '67 Barracuda that is in dire need of lower ball joints and set the toe-in on it so it can be driven, we also have a '52 Jag XK120 2-seater coupe that is cherry/mint condition but has chronic oil leaks, a common British car trait. Stops leaking, check the oil! It is a show winner already.
Can't forget our '12 Challenger hemi 6-speed and our '14 Chrysler 300C luxury edition sleeper, and keeping our tow rig 1 ton big block Chevy Suburban K2500 patched up & running good, and then there is our 22' Dana Classic daycruiser boat.......
We won't get into the turbocharged '79 Honda CBX 6 cylinder bike or my '04 Gold Wing.......
Yep, got more than a few projects to tinker with!
Glad to hear that Aaron is on the mend and getting stronger every day, and for sharing with all of us what had happened. Get better quickly, Aaron! You got this, especially with Emily by your side!
Good to see Aaron doing well.
Appreciate you sharing personal info... I have had my experiences with seizures as my wife is epileptic. Love the corvette. There is no better project and it looks good going down the road. Also, love the shop dog, he can even keep an eye on you under the car... Blessings.
Just 18? Live Learn Grow Love. Glad to see you are healing together ❤️
I'm happy to see Aaron back! Health problems are not fun, that's for sure. I had a head injury back in 2016, and I still have memory glitches, headaches etc. So I understand the frustration he's going through. I can also relate to the one million projects. We have a 71 Superbee and 69 Roadrunner that's been on the "to restore" list since I was 12. I have my 55 Dodge getting a Hemi. Only 1000 bucks to go until that's paid off, so super excited for that! And last but not least, we have a fleet of PT Cruisers. We've procrastinated enough, It's time to change the timing belts. Always a fun job on those cars 🤣. Keep up the great work, welcome back Aaron, and have fun with that Vette!
I am glad to see Aaron getting well. I will continue to pray for him to heal. Great budget build project.
Self proclaimed King of unfinished projects here. They get to a usable, functional point and I go off to another one. Every once and awhile one actually gets finished. Glad to see Aaron back and on the mend!
Aaron you've been on my mind and when I saw the video from California when you were in the hospital I stopped right there and said a prayer for you and Emily... So glad you are recovering well! ❤ I have to address the multiple projects going all at once 😂 So I have a 1971 El Camino 4x4 that needs wiring work and some odds and ends to make it better, a 1968 GMC C2500 that needs a driveshaft and a rear drum unstuck, a 1954 Bel air that needs an engine transplant (292 straight six from a 1967 Chevy train truck), 1984 Riviera needs a carburetor and tuned to be more efficient but does run and drive just like it is, a 1979 Malibu that needs the rear frame rails replaced and some paint and bodywork, a 1986 Ranger 4x4 I'm in the middle of 4.0 swapping, and a 1990 F150 that needs exhaust work.
So I can relate 😂 Thank you guys as always for the awesome content and inspiration 🤘🤘🤘
Aaron is in da house! Yeah baby, great to see your shining spirit, so glad to see you tooling around in da garage together. Keep healing for a healthier you.
I’m glad Aaron is getting better 😊
Arron I get the self anger. I ended up with an in ability to take care of my customers and Vehicles. My wife is taking courses to take care of part of the business. And she is putting an engine in her 2001 VW beetle. I'm not allowed in MY shop for more then a half hour. when she is working. she says I take over and she needs to learn so I watch you guys. glad your back at it I wish you All the good health and whats that P word Patience. Blessing to you and yours. I have Sever COPD. and will not be able to do what I love full time or even part time work on and build cars trucks motorcycles just here and there. I am very happy for you looking forward to your builds the Vette looks like a lot of fun, just fixing it
A fractured humerus is very painful. Your seizure must have been quite violent to break both of them. Praying for a full recovery brother. You are fortunate to have a caring wife to take care of you.
Aaron, so happy to hear you are doing better. Emily, you must be the MOST positive person on UA-cam! I'm hoping to be an ex Corvette owner soon. Off to new projects for me!
Glad to see Aaron back in the shop. The oil leak coming down the back of engine is probably the oil pressure sending unit starting to fail. When they go bad they love to leak oil down the back of the block and cover everything with oil.
Good to see Aaron back in action. It's good for that Corvette to have found you two. Something that pops to mind since you've found hidden frontend damage is that maybe the damage is actually causing the door fitment problem and the wheel well liners were removed because of other damage. I'd pull the doghouse off and have a good unobstructed look at the skeleton up there. Keep on keeping on!
Glad to see Aaron back in a video! Glad he is getting better
The cool thing about the corvette is that its like a swiss army knife and there are endless possibilities when it comes to body panels, suspensions and enough of them have been used up so original parts in good shape can be had like the front coolant frame and all the associated hardware. It will be a cool build for sure. Glad to hear Aaron is on the mend.
Glad to see you both back at it, I understand Aaron’s frustration. I used to do my own work on my cars as a hobby, I was a nurse by trade. My illness has however made that a thing of the past. I have ‘79 Olds Cutlass Supreme that was my daily and used it for cruise-ins and cruises with my friends that will now be my parts car for the other Cutlass. The other Cutlass is also a ‘79 Cutlass but it’s a little bit more special, it’s a factory 4spd car, I bought it about 15 yrs ago as a project before I got sick. Although people have told me I should sell and make a lot more money than I paid for it but I plan on finishing it before the Pulmonary Fibrosis takes me. Love the videos, never met ya but know I love ya. I think “the Kid” will be the next Pistons and Pixie dust. Aaron take your time and heal, remember supervision is work too.
Glad Aaron is on the mend!! Getting back to wrenching is great physical therapy. See you using Kendall oil and Wix filter, great products. I run Penngrade 1 in my MG for its zinc content. Refined in PA like Kendall.
