You could cancel it right after firing it. I’ve made a tank build with dual coral rifles. I can chain firing fully charged laser beam without cooldowns
I love using Walter's build there's soo much combo potential, I've found that as soon as you confirm a hit with the charged coral oscillator you can cancel the rest of the animation with assault armor and be ready for the direct hit with charged coral rifle. Crazy damage

indeed bro, the rifle beam could have win over pilebunker damage output, if not, for it's unconsistence hitbox... you will notice the beam will stun and push the enemy (esp AC type) to one side upon hitting the target, and the rest of the beam will miss it target. You have to adjust the beam again to where the target is to lend a few more hits before the animation end.
I like to think this is what happens if 621 doesn't make it. After all, in the Die is Cast ending, Walter gets in the robot and fights very effectively. (Until he's buried under copies of the entire lineup of the Vespers at once _and_ more anyhow. Same with Carla.)
well one thing i noticed in the third ending spoilers in the scene where they show allmind beat carla and walter it shows the same ibis mech he uses in the good ending which i find interesting since it means he just has a ibis series laying around
@@jancevaughn8539 That particular AC is the only one of its kind, and it was specifically designed to stop the coral. It’s likely that this was always Walter’s AC since, or shortly after, his time with RI and the fires of Ibis.

Imagine how I felt when I had to repeat the mission a lot of times until I learned that all the enmies on the lake had combat logs, and until I learned that there was a chest on the mission. At least I got good at it after so many runs and in one of those I just got S rank lol
to think about it, walter probably live at the same time as carla. Both part of the organization of OVERSEER. To think that the fire of IBIS might be caused by the OVERSEER, the scientist who burned the corals might be the handler of walter, or at least what inspired the OVERSEER to be created. They must've been one heck of a group that they manage to take down the IBIS with their deadly equipments, compared to us just basic equipments of the corps.

Before that, a UA-camr found a bug of the Coral Oscillator with its charging melee beam attack, whereby it doesn't hit enemies depending on the distance and the type of body parts you used. I don't have the video link anymore, but you can try to search it up in UA-cam, if you are keen.

Coral shield, found in the first stage of the second last mission in ng++ along with the coral missile. One in the first section, and the missile is in the 3rd section (the last section of the time trialled drone hunt thing) in regain co trol of the xylem mission.
The left shoulder is Coral Shield, he will usually use it when you face him during the first part of the fight. The other one is Coral missile on right shoulder
Yoo bro, somebody asked me the same question back then, so i will just copy and paste the condition you need to do to collect all the 6 Coral Weapons in the game.👇🏻 There are altogether 6 coral weapons in the game that you are able to get, but under these conditions: 1) You must play until new game+2 (3rd playthrough) 2) In new game+2, you have to do ALLMIND quest to unlock 2 new final mission in Chapter 5 towards the end, whereby you can obtain 2 coral weapons in those mission. 3) One of the Coral weapons can be found in Chapter 4 "Reach The Coral Convergence" mission. At the start of the mission, look for a treasure chest on top of a building. 4) Complete all Loghunts quest in the game, to unlock one of the coral weapon 5) Defeat all AC bosses in Arena Analysis category to unlock 2 coral weapons. If you are not sure, how to do the above-mentioned conditions, i suggest you google those conditions, and search in UA-cam. 👍🏻💯
On the 3rd playthrough (NG++), you have to do ALLMIND quest decision to unlock the final 2 new mission in chapter 5, one of the new mission, you have to fight a AC enemy name HAL to obtain his parts

From what I can remember, no(but I'll have to look). Weight in some sense doesn't matter if you have that one OS tuning. The one that let's you into missions overburdened but you'll be heavy obviously. But it can be also the preset you can use after the arena

Your arms overburdened when you equip the Walter Coral Rifle and Coral Oscillator? That shouldn't be the case since I remember using the same build with full HAL set That said, good use of this build against Ibis. Enemy AI having difficulty dodging the Coral Oscillator charge attack is certainly useful and it does a lot of impact damage
@@orthrusthetoad im pretty sure its fixed lol. i had that issue on the update, but last two days ive been using the Coral Oscillator just fine on any legs (And the full Hal model) (this is on PC, not sure about consoles)

You need to go into NG++, and do ALLMIND ending to unlock the final 2 new mission, and one of the Coral weapon need to have your Loghunt side quest completed. Another 2 more you need to do Arena Analysis final 2 bosses to obtain (also in NG++). I suggest you look up on the internet on how to obtain all Coral Weapons in the game 👍🏻💯
You have to go to new game++ and beat Hal in the arena, the back weapons are unlocked by finding parts containers in the second to last mission for ng++ ending and the left hand weapon you need to find all combat logs
You all of them on ng++, the coral kamehameha come by destroying Hal in arena, the coral back nuke and shield come from two chests on the second mission from true ending on chapter 5 and the melee weapon is from getting all the combat logs

There is a certain point of no return tho, so even if you cancel it will over heat. You have to keep an eye on the HUD.

Ibis took me hours my 1st playthrough. And still the toughest. I was so glad I didn't have to fight this boss in NG++.

Did you not just copy the ac schematic of walter from the files that you obtain after beating him the first time? Arms cant be overburdened
bug that disables oscillators dmg if you have full set on, apparently there's a fix in the works.

@eduardorauchbach ohhh, that's nice! Your setup is almost the same like mine with the FCS thr difference, but you didn't get a arms load overburden with HAL 826 arms? That's strange, as it happen to mine, that's why i have to swapped the arms to a different one.
Yes, it's all fine, but the generator and legs are at their limits.

There are altogether 6 coral weapons in the game that you are able to get, but under these conditions:
1) You must play until new game+2 (3rd playthrough)
2) In new game+2, you have to do ALLMIND quest to unlock 2 new final mission in Chapter 5 towards the end, whereby you can obtain 2 coral weapons in those mission.
3) One of the Coral weapons can be found in Chapter 4 "Reach The Coral Convergence" mission. At the start of the mission, look for a treasure chest on top of a building.
4) Complete all Loghunts quest in the game, to unlock one of the coral weapon
5) Defeat all AC bosses in Arena Analysis category to unlock 2 coral weapons.
If you are not sure, how to do the above-mentioned conditions, i suggest you google those conditions, and search in UA-cam. 👍🏻💯

Your arms overburdened when you equip the Walter Coral Rifle and Coral Oscillator?
That shouldn't be the case since I remember using the same build with full HAL set
That said, good use of this build against Ibis. Enemy AI having difficulty dodging the Coral Oscillator charge attack is certainly useful and it does a lot of impact damage
cause he built this mech by scratch rather than downloading walters preset.
There is a bug right now that disables damage from the Coral Oscillator if you are wearing the full HAL set.
@@orthrusthetoad im pretty sure its fixed lol. i had that issue on the update, but last two days ive been using the Coral Oscillator just fine on any legs (And the full Hal model)

Basically there are 2 forms of lock-on in this game, the soft-lock and the hard-lock. Both have their own disadvantages and advantages. I highly recommend you watch this video 👇🏻

Arena Walter on NG++ if I remember
If you want the sword I think you have to get all combat logs
You need to go into NG++, and do ALLMIND ending to unlock the final 2 new mission, and one of the Coral weapon need to have your Loghunt side quest completed. Another 2 more you need to do Arena Analysis final 2 bosses to obtain (also in NG++). I suggest you look up on the internet on how to obtain all Coral Weapons in the game 👍🏻💯
How can I get those weapons??
You have to go to new game++ and beat Hal in the arena, the back weapons are unlocked by finding parts containers in the second to last mission for ng++ ending and the left hand weapon you need to find all combat logs
You all of them on ng++, the coral kamehameha come by destroying Hal in arena, the coral back nuke and shield come from two chests on the second mission from true ending on chapter 5 and the melee weapon is from getting all the combat logs
