@NickReilly-iv6jg yeah, a lot of stuff in the game is just worthless and clearly only built for pvp, but at the end of the day most builds can s rank most levels if you're good enough. There are exceptions to the rule of course, I found S ranking the Infiltrate Grid 083 mission with anything that isn't Zimmermans or Stun Needle cheese is almost impossible (I ended up using Walter blade and Walter laser rifle) purely due to how that mission balances kills and ammo costs in the ranking system.

How do you stay locked on target? I am constantly losing target lock especially with other mechs crossing my screen and her darting all over the place. Target assist is worthless.
I really didnt want to use it again but I could only get to phase 2 into half health right when it becomes the final 1v1 with my build over and over. I had to revert to this beast of a boss killer....I still just barely did it with 1 hp thanks to terminal armor though. Damn rough fight.
That’s what I noticed as I’ve watched this vid 4 times now. I don’t know how he does it. I’m using this build now for days and get very far into stage 3. The closest I got to beating this thing was a light/fast build, all rockets, got him to a sliver and lost him for a second, boom, I’m dead!
@frankw.4825 Dude! I beat this boss in Forms 2 and 3 by NOT MOVING! i just stood in 1 spot with a heavy tank build, dual lennier riffles, and shoulder mounted shotguns. The fire rate of the shot guns and the stopping power of the rifles stops his attacks. And since he is constantly trying to melee you, he just keeps running into your guns. Also the turn rate of the tank core helps alot.
I didn’t realize exactly what hard lock was until the Allmind fight, I know, embarrassing. That’s what I needed to beat this thing. Incredible how that works, thankfully for me!
This doesn't work for me. One, the boss darts around significantly more when I'm playing it. There is no way to maintain target lock on it. Nevermind it's constant melee attacking.
I have the ALEA IACTA EST ending. I had this build for the entire 3 playthroughs. I only needed to change one thing. The FCS that was all. XD. Now to work towards all frame parts, all weapon parts and the S ranks.
JUST BEAT THIS BOSS IN THE 2ND AND 3RD PHAZE BY NOT MOVING!!!! Tank build. Dual Lennier riffles and dual shoulder mounded shot guns. He keeps coming at you with the sword, opening himself up the shotgun. The fire rate is high enough with them to stop him before he gets a hit in. You can actually get 2 hits in with them while he staggered. Also after getting the true ending, i see what Walter was trying to prevent, and he did nothing wrong. The "Fires of Raven" is the true good ending, in my opinion, and destroying the planet would be worth stopping the corral release.

Can you do a brute force strategy against the Ibis boss fight? Im stuck on it and I’d like to see some strats. Its the institute city boss fight against the C-Weapon.
Here's a build that worked for me - Dual Javelin Beta with Dual Gattling. This shreds Ibis like paper. Also, for frame, go for Firmeza frame with Fortaleza tank legs. And make sure you have the long-range targeting assist FCS equipped, it helps a lot. Good luck fellow Raven!
I used a combo of the Lance + Pile Bunker to do massive damage, then finished it off with missiles. Build up a little bit of stagger, then land a charged lance hit which does a lot of damage and staggers it, then immediately switch to the pile bunker and land a charged hit with that and you can take out over half of its health in 1 hit
IBIS frame was twin gats, twin 6esna / songbirds. Just aim to land hits to stagger with grenades and gatlings into stagger are nuts. With Needles its irrelevant what staggers. If Gats stun needles slay, and vice versa.
Dual Zimmermans with Chainsaw shred her in about a minute. Since she always opens with the same attacks each phase you can rush in, Stun her and Chainsaw her for 80% of her health each phase. From there shotgun her and that's it.
So, yesterday after 3 hours of trial and error i finally beat allmind. This Was a hell of a fight and one of my hardest ever. I turn 40 this year and this game was awesome! Honestly takes a fraction amount more skill (not comparing who's better or whatever) but dual zimmermans man.. It's disgusting how fast they make the game like 2 shots + 1 laser shot = stagger then shotgun + songbird and shotgun again, game over for the boss in a heartbeat fr.
I'm using this exact build and for the life of me I can't target the guy you're supposed to target. I've made it this far. Second phase I can kill one of the AllMind parts, but I'm out of health at that point. I've run out of ammo with my gatling guns and had both snipers in hand rolling around in a circle around the map trying to keep my distance from the enemy. I can use my light build and throw lasers at it. Wait let me try that again. Awesome game, but I think I may have a finally hit a wall. *Edit:* I just beat the damn thing. This was a poorly designed boss like a lot of the bosses in this game. There is no reason why you have to rely on the same overpowered build to get past it
Thise damn melee laser attacks that he does in the second phase are simply too stupid too dodge. I've been trying for hours without figuring out the correct way to move in all that chaos. They cover too much ground e the damage is conpletely off the charts. Without my ACS being overloaded i took more than 4k AP of damage. The trand of making difficult games just for the sake of it is ruining the industry. And i've platinumed this game just today. I enjoy a challenge, as most of us do, but jesus christ: does it really need to be this nonsensical?
You know I thought the worst had passed in this game until I got to this BS of a fight. I find it incredibly that people raged on the internet with Balteus and the Sea Spider but NO ONE is talking about how completely broken this fight is. I have throw everything I have in the garage to this One Man Army of a boss and I either die to his infinite swings AOE Melee combo or I literally ran out of ammo. The last time I had such a hard time with a boss was Sword Saint Ishin from Sekiro and that says a lot.
@@Valzack if he's still bothering you, you may try a full tank build, with dpuble stun needles as back weapons and a pair of flamethrowers as main "dish". Does anyone know if you can get the parts for the AC the boss uses in the second half of the fight?
No. Probably will come in DLC at some point as some variation of its gear.
I always use up all my gattlings 😆 i can put him to a 1 1/4 of his life 2nd phase but thats about it 😤🤣
how the fuck do you track like that???
Right!? 🧐
I saw on another comment he’s probably using a Nexus mod, whatever that is, and if so, fuck him.
This was a poorly designed boss like a lot of the bosses in this game. There is no reason why you have to rely on the same overpowered build to get past it
You don't have to. Just beat him with my 8000AP pulse blade build
How do ypu unlock this boss fight?
NG++ ALLMIND ROUTE/ENDING
This no longer works that good. They patched a lot of 🧀🧀🧀 in this game.
Double zimmerman and every boss is easy xD
anyone know if the second phase armor is in the game?
It’s not available to the player. Maybe in DLC? But tbh I doubt it.
This fight is straight bs lol
I can say that, in phase one, you may try to ignore the minions an concentrate on the boss, in order to speed things up a bit. In phase two and three try to stay at mid range and keep spamming the flamethrowers, usino the needles to overload its ACS. I got an S using this strategy a couple days ago, althought it took me a lot tries and even more favourable RNG. If he decides that in that try you have to die, be sure that you will, there's little to nothing you can do about it. Just hammer throught, you'll eventually make it
This is a ridiculous fight. too many enemies and just you.
Seems it is inspired by Izetta and Witch From Mercury
