@silentmoon6804 oh yeah, one of my friend did tried deflect the meteor rocks, and it does look satisfying, although the timing can be pretty tight.

@dkcrew3415 good to hear that buddy 👍🏻 💯 I did had similar experience with his annoying cross slash the first few time though, i did deflect all his 3 slash combo and the last one always get me thrown back, and yeah, after much trials n error, i got the idea of dodging in the 2nd slash which put my character in better position to close up with him and deflect the 3rd slash without being thrown backwards. ✌🏼💯

Thanks for watching Matthew 🫱🏼‍🫲🏼🫱🏼‍🫲🏼😊 The reason being, is to conserve stamina (Stamina Management), as dodge consume less stamina than deflecting. The general idea is to only deflect whenever you get the chance to guard counter, and secondly to deflect his annoying quick slash hitbox. Hope that help in answering your question 🫡✨✨

@MonkeyNeuronActivation yeah, you can pretty much measure in that way. I would say the deflecting tear parry window is pretty generous than Sekiro. I see that you played Fromsoft's games too, have you played the ER DLC?

@@VinceRockz yeah I've finished DLC but only once on 150 Strength build (kinda cheated with Raptor and Quickstep), now I'm trying 150 Faith build with deflecting hardtear and having a tough time beating Promised Consort (40% negation to all elementals). Rellana was also really hard to perfectly guard against. I'd say it was harder than Promised Consort, but you can just run away and heal.

@MonkeyNeuronActivation nice to hear that you are doing a faith build currently. Indeed Faith build could be challenging, and what i can think of for Faith build is to focus of building scarlet rot on Radahn at least in phase 1, and use impenetrable thorns sorcery as offensive strats (even though it is a sorcery spell, it require 24 Faith,and somehow scale with Faith attribute), and bleed the hell out of him with this spell. @goatrachannel I think the mod creator have already remove the older version of these mods unfortunately. Did you find it hard to bring down a enemy posture and vitality? Are you playing New Game save or NG+ save?

@goatrachannel New Game save shouldn't be that ridiculous even with the Kuro's charmless mode on. What i can suggest is that you should keep Kuro's Charm with you, this will reduce the difficulty level by alot, and you should be able to chuck away enemies life easily this time. Give it a try bro

@cosminTHEhedgehog nice to know bro, i would also reccomend you to play this mod called "Graceborne" for Elden Ring. They revamped the area and some enemies, and make it like Bloodborne with the Trick Weapon and Guns. Once you finish your playthrough, you might want to check them out 👍🏻

@mrjooxmanallah thanks for watching, and there are many factors to highlight about the holy damage in phase 2, but the general idea is to stay as close to him as possible, deflect and INSTANT input guard counter heavy button, if you delay the input, you will get hit by the holy damage. The rest would be situational and luck based, because the holy damage tends to have higher chances of hitting you right at the start of phase 2, but once you bring his HP down past more than 50%, the holy damage seems to appear at different spot. I did this in lot's of hours with trials n error.

@@VinceRockz It’s weird. This strategy gets me to the second stage comfortably. Then becomes almost useless afterwards. I probably should be stepping more to the right while doing this. Thanks for the feedback though.

I tried this several times and the lasers always gets me. You gotta be really close to him. Also it feels like his slash attacks will get you either way, so it's probably better to roll.

@@mrjooxmanallahactually from experience u you probably be stepping to the left a little. It seems like his attacks have a slight blind spot on his right(your left) cause that’s like the only consistent way to dodge his double slash too

@essentialx17 good observation! Yes, it is possible to duck those attack with a heavy weapon guard counter animation (not all heavy weapon guard counter have the same animation), but there's a few points you have to take note during the phase 2 fight: uneven ground and his after attack light beam. These 2 scenario can still screw you up while you are trying to guard counter his mid combo. Phase 1 no problem, you can always get those counters in and practise on it, but phase 2 will be more on luck and RNG based.

@duski4633 technically you could just stand near him without getting hit, but for some reason, there are times the hitbox still got me (probably because of large weapon that I'm using), so i tried using crouch instead, and it seems to be the most safest method.

@SPECREY I wouldn't say that this DLC is the greatest among all the Fromsoft's souls titles. I feel that the Old Hunter DLC of Bloodborne still the best in my opinion. I do relate on how you feel about the bosses fight in this DLC, and i personally do not like some of the bosses fight in it too, at the end of the day, everyone have their personal opinion about it and move on.

@@VinceRockz I see, I also miss the old ds3 toe toe,face to face fights, no running etc. just you and boss fighting, you dodge his attacks and you attack , I wish be able to play Bloodborn ( i never had playstation ), my favorite souls game allways will be sekiro, and I think I would also love bloodborn too, if you ask me fromsoft realised playersa are actually getting good, even I was be able to dodge most of the final boss attacks without getting hit, if it didnt turned to whatever this is, I think it would be way more easier if he had non laser beem attacks, I think fromsoft needs to either reinvent the formula or just go make something way else, my favorite game director Hideo Kojima even left metal gear style and did something extremly different, its about letting go and they have to let go

@RinPreza I can't remember the exact stats, however i do remember most of the attributes are around the soft cap of 40 especially in Motivity and Technique. Yeah, it took me many hours to practise the 2nd phase too, and finally with some luck, i could parry him with the dragon blade smoothly. I wish you good luck in beating this boss Sis 💪🏼💥💯

@ORCA1739 I haven't try any mods on the DLC or on the latest patch version for the base game. Probably you are right, it won't work though.

@@VinceRockz The dlc works but the weapons are odd for me it could be because I downloaded wrong "rakuyo" mod which was a requirement I probualey should have downloaded the one that said "burial blade" too. As for what is wrong with the mod (for me) the animations are all the same kind of the second fully charged r2 has the "jumping wjite wind effect" while locked on I can do the dash if I dodge to the left butn ot the right and sometimes the hit does not register. I'm downloading the rukuyu mod with burial blade to determine if this happens because of the dlc.

@ORCA1739 ohhh, thanks for telling me that, it seems that the mod doesn't work with the latest patch apparently and causes some of the attack to be buggy as you had mentioned earlier. I suggest that you highlight this issue to the mod creator, and see whether he will plan to do a patch update to the mods. If he does that, that will be good news to try out this mods in DLC too. I haven't try Lady Maria Rakuyo moveset, is it complete? The last time i noticed is that the mod creator haven't complete most of the moveset for this mods.

@thedarksoul234 Hi Blake! Yeah, it does work for his explosion beam, and much more efficient to attack him back when he had finished that animation. Technically you still can run away and avoid the AOE blast, but you will not be able to land a hit since you will be far away from him.

​@@VinceRockzhow good does Vow of the Indomitable work. Because is they have similar Invincibility. But Raptor of the Mist lasts longer because it's an Enemy hit based ability which grants more invincibility the more Freeze Frames the enemy Attack has. Vow of the Indomitable is way faster Actionable for better potential Punishes.

@anigodzapex9384 You brought up a good point, Vow Of The Indomitable does provide you with invincibility (i hardly use shield in boss fight, but this does seems interesting to test it out in the near future)

@Elijah-bj4vo unfortunately, double rapid attack doesn't seems to deflect properly, your character will get damage, and unable to do counter heavy attack, or your character will get push back to a certain distance.

@@VinceRockz thanks for the answer really nice to hear your opinion! I dont play souls too much so i dont actually have done the bosses no hits but i would say some of the bosses in dark souls 3 like pontiff, soul of cinder on lv 1 gave me trouble and some of the bloodborne bosses 😃

@julianaskoe3260 ohhh, you did play some DS3 n Bloodborne 👌🏻💯 Speaking of DS3, i remember now that there was a boss i attempted back then (and still haven't got a No Hit) is Dancer of the Boreal Valley! I just couldn't evade her quick slash combo moveset in phase 2. She's not that hard, just these one quick slash combo that is very hard to dodge. 😪
