I haven’t gotten the reload yet but it’s on its way and I was planning on applying that the next time I wash it. Is it safe to do so that long after the ceramic coating was applied or did I miss my window? Also what would you recommend I do before applying the reload other than wash with reset? You’re welcome! Reload can be applied 24h after the initial coating application but then it can be applied every time you wash it or every other time. Reload is just a maintence silica spray topper so it can be applied even as a stand alone sealant. 😎👍🏼

So we got it done saturday and when we picked it up i noticed water spots on the hood The detailer said he couldnt and didnt want to go rough on removing those as its a new truck. So he did his best & than put the coating on it. I dont like seeing it. Im waiting a week and than will just detail with the carpro elixer and wash in a month or so with reset & apply reload. I believe thats the correct way? Lol. But what do u suggest for the waterspots that i saw. ? Thank you

Well with whatever coating you’re using try to stay with their version of a topper instead. It will be better since it uses their saw chemistry. But it can be applied to other coatings it may just not last as long on other coatings that don’t share its chemistry b

Hi. If you have high spots that didn't level out and cured you have to polish them down, Try Carpro EssencePlus, it should be able to remove that extra coating that it making that high spot with removing the rest of the coating.
I've never understood why people get ceramic coatings if they put a topper on it all the time. Why not just use the topper without the coating?I've done it both ways and can't notice much of a difference and saved about 1k on the professional ceramic costing base application. I use a topper only now. I apply about every 3 months and takes about 12 minutes.
Well I guess if people keep up on it then you could just do that. You don't have to use a silica spray if you don't want to, I use it mostly because its a great drying aid and and does add an extra layer of protection. But to each their own.
Miranda Detailing I had Cermic Coat Pro at one time with a 10 year warranty. It stopped being super glossy and beading water after time and I had to rejuvenate with reload. This is what made me decide to just save the money on professional cermaic coatings. I haven't met anyone that says that they have a professional cermaic coating and after a year it still beads as well as it did in the beginning without maintsinence. The price has just gotten outrageous for pro instslled. 7 years ago it was $700 with a 10 year warranty and basic paint correction on an Audi S 5.
livnaway oh Ceramic Pro is honesty not as good as advertised. I’ve done some research and takes to other Detailers and they don’t like that stuff. We have customers that have had either CQuartz or Gtechniq coatings on for past the year mark and they still look and react amazingly, even with out the regular maintenance detail we offer. We see them every 6 months and they even wash it them selves without using the proper products. I guess it depends on who applies it and and what they are using.
Phil, it's the Chief Novice here again! 😂 I've just now bought the CarPro ECH2O and the CarPro Reload. If I wash the car first and then apply the Reload, would that be sufficient? I would just wash the car once a week after that, I assume. I also heard that these two products can be mixed together (if I understood correctly) to save time. What do you say? Hi. 😎👍🏼. I haven’t used Ech20 since we don’t really use waterless washes. So I’m not sure about mixing them….however. The plan to wash once a week, whether is with Ech20 as a waterless wash and use reload to top sounds great!

I picked up three 500ml bottles of Reload for $59 from Autogeek a couple months ago. I wondered why they were so cheap. Turns out, the supposed expiration date is 10/15/20. 😒 Personally, I don’t think Reload is going to go bad. But some will say it’s effectiveness will diminish over time. 🤷🏻♂️
That really just depends on how much it’s driven. Typically I recommend every 1-3 months. But honestly you can reapply this using it as a drying aid each time you wash the vehicle.

Can i use this product when i wash my ceramic coated car as maintaining? Or better dry the car properly and use another product as a top coat on the ceramic? I actually look for extra shine gloss look than hydrofobics. Please advise.

Well I wouldn't put any other type of sealant on top of a coating like that. I like to stick with the appropriate topper like Reload on Cquartz, it works really well for us.
I have had 3 bottles of Reload. All were a pain in the ass to remove. Very streaky. I think they have had problems with different batches over the years. That said, the protection n beads are decent but there are many better products out there that are easier to use. I will never be buying again. It’s unfortunate because I really wanted to like it. Keep up the videos, they are relaxing to watch
Miranda Detailing ohh, yes. I have BeadMaker but it’s only for Shine and slickness. I use other sio2 sprays now. I’ve not tried Tech Choive but hear it’s good. I have almost everything on the market but I’ve been eyeing the Tech Choice.
Hi. Nope. Gloss is a top coat style ceramic coating. It is applied over Cquartz coatings or as a stand alone coating. Reload is applied only after the coating has cured and as a maintenance topper after washing.
What pad do you use for essence single stage correction? Just completed my truck, and the car pro gloss pad took care of 50-70% of the defects. Not perfect but it was my first use of a DA polisher.
got streaks after using (my fault i know), but you said in the video the streaks will eventually go away on its own? is that true? I'm just worried it'll cure to the paint and will need polishing

From what I have found on Essence Plus, its designed to revive the pre existing coating with out removing it, not sure how, but thats what it was designed to do. pretty cool actually.
Reload better then hydro 2 ???? I’ve heard reload lasted longer and was way better The car looks good !!! I have a black 2013 GT500 it’s getting a coating !!!
After the coating is cured overnight there is no need to wash it. After a coating application do not wash the vehicle for at least two weeks to let the coating completely cure. This is a topper that can be applied on the coating after the 24h cure. And then it can used after each wash or on a quarterly basis.
Good morning, Miranda. Congratulations on the channel and content. I have a question: my vehicle was coated with Serum Light from Gtechniq 3 months ago. In theory, this would allow up to 5 years of duration, provided that periodic maintenance is carried out. Can the Carpro Reload product be applied for the purpose of maintaining the quality of the coating for a longer time? If so, what is the time interval between Reload applications? Hi. That’s great! I would choice Gtechniq C2v3 as the maintenance topper instead of reload. Only becasue it’s in the same line up and it’s supposed to be used as the topper for CSL. bit.ly/2LPuMtU You can apply it every 3 months or so. That should get you the full five years.
Hello guys, i see many people with problems with RELOAD aplication. So my way to do it is: ➡️ Always use two towels or more. ➡️ spray one towel with reload, pass in the panel, let sit for a few seconds, and with other MF towel buff off the product. What i normally do is, have 2 bottles filled until the middle with product and add the rest with destilied water. And that's the final result, never do it at direct sun.😉
This sadly misses so many points and seems like just yet another click bate product sponsored sell out. The main point is how to best maintain a properly done ceramic coating, which is a big part of what Reload is supposed to be about, but you seem to want to pitch it as a must buy for any application when there are often much better and less expensive alternatives. Carpros make a few good products but they’re often not the best the choice.

The 12 hours is just a minimum. I usually just wait until the next day to apply a topper on any coating.

Hi. You don’t have to remove Reload. Reload Only lasts a few months anyway. So usually we apply reload or any topper every 3-6 months.

Use more product and if it doesn’t work use the prep fluid that came with it
That only helps if high spots are spotted before they cure. After curing any high spots need polishing to remove.
Can the towels used for Reload, be washed and used again? Or do they need to be discarded like the ceramic coating towels?
Hi. Yes you can wash and reuse with no problems. Reload is a just a sio2 booster. It doesn’t harder the towels like a true ceramic coating can.

Hi. It’s up to you. We use reload to maintain ceramic coating vehicles. But if you want gloss you can use other sio2 toppers. Either way is fine.

I like to use the Lake Country or Buff and Shine White pads or orange pads depending on how the paint reacts.

If you got streaks just use a damp towel to remove them and then a dry towel. It’s water friendly and can be used as a drying aid also.

need to wash it first?
After the coating is cured overnight there is no need to wash it. After a coating application do not wash the vehicle for at least two weeks to let the coating completely cure. This is a topper that can be applied on the coating after the 24h cure. And then it can used after each wash or on a quarterly basis.
Good morning, Miranda. Congratulations on the channel and content. I have a question: my vehicle was coated with Serum Light from Gtechniq 3 months ago. In theory, this would allow up to 5 years of duration, provided that periodic maintenance is carried out. Can the Carpro Reload product be applied for the purpose of maintaining the quality of the coating for a longer time? If so, what is the time interval between Reload applications? Hi. That’s great! I would choice Gtechniq C2v3 as the maintenance topper instead of reload. Only becasue it’s in the same line up and it’s supposed to be used as the topper for CSL. bit.ly/2LPuMtU
You can apply it every 3 months or so. That should get you the full five years.

Hello guys, i see many people with problems with RELOAD aplication.
So my way to do it is:
➡️ Always use two towels or more.
➡️ spray one towel with reload, pass in the panel, let sit for a few seconds, and with other MF towel buff off the product.
What i normally do is, have 2 bottles filled until the middle with product and add the rest with destilied water.
And that's the final result, never do it at direct sun.😉

This sadly misses so many points and seems like just yet another click bate product sponsored sell out. The main point is how to best maintain a properly done ceramic coating, which is a big part of what Reload is supposed to be about, but you seem to want to pitch it as a must buy for any application when there are often much better and less expensive alternatives. Carpros make a few good products but they’re often not the best the choice.
I'm sorry my friend...but what do you mean, This is just a simple video showing how to use it after a coating application....Click bait?...Sponsored sell out?... must buy for any application?...How? I use it exactly how I said I did. It works as a topper, as a sealant after Essence, and so on....
