    Thanks for the informative video! I also wanted to ask how long after you apply the ceramic coating are you able to apply the reload. I ceramic coated my brothers car 5 weeks ago and just gave it its first maintenance wash last night using reset. I haven’t gotten the reload yet but it’s on its way and I was planning on applying that the next time I wash it. Is it safe to do so that long after the ceramic coating was applied or did I miss my window? Also what would you recommend I do before applying the reload other than wash with reset? Thanks so much for your time!

    I've never understood why people get ceramic coatings if they put a topper on it all the time. Why not just use the topper without the coating?I've done it both ways and can't notice much of a difference and saved about 1k on the professional ceramic costing base application. I use a topper only now. I apply about every 3 months and takes about 12 minutes.

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  4 роки тому +1

      Well I guess if people keep up on it then you could just do that. You don't have to use a silica spray if you don't want to, I use it mostly because its a great drying aid and and does add an extra layer of protection. But to each their own.

    • @livnaway

      Miranda Detailing I had Cermic Coat Pro at one time with a 10 year warranty. It stopped being super glossy and beading water after time and I had to rejuvenate with reload. This is what made me decide to just save the money on professional cermaic coatings. I haven't met anyone that says that they have a professional cermaic coating and after a year it still beads as well as it did in the beginning without maintsinence. The price has just gotten outrageous for pro instslled. 7 years ago it was $700 with a 10 year warranty and basic paint correction on an Audi S 5.

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  4 роки тому +2

      livnaway oh Ceramic Pro is honesty not as good as advertised. I’ve done some research and takes to other Detailers and they don’t like that stuff. We have customers that have had either CQuartz or Gtechniq coatings on for past the year mark and they still look and react amazingly, even with out the regular maintenance detail we offer. We see them every 6 months and they even wash it them selves without using the proper products. I guess it depends on who applies it and and what they are using.

    Does anyone know if you can spray on reload as a top up then pressure wash off? I already have CQuartz Lite applied.

      Hi. No it’s not that type of a sealant unfortunately.

    need to wash it first?

      After the coating is cured overnight there is no need to wash it. After a coating application do not wash the vehicle for at least two weeks to let the coating completely cure. This is a topper that can be applied on the coating after the 24h cure. And then it can used after each wash or on a quarterly basis.

    Good morning, Miranda. Congratulations on the channel and content. I have a question: my vehicle was coated with Serum Light from Gtechniq 3 months ago. In theory, this would allow up to 5 years of duration, provided that periodic maintenance is carried out. Can the Carpro Reload product be applied for the purpose of maintaining the quality of the coating for a longer time? If so, what is the time interval between Reload applications? Grateful for the attention. See you later. Waston Ribeiro from Brazil.

      Hi. That’s great! I would choice Gtechniq C2v3 as the maintenance topper instead of reload. Only becasue it’s in the same line up and it’s supposed to be used as the topper for CSL. bit.ly/2LPuMtU
      You can apply it every 3 months or so. That should get you the full five years.

    Hello guys, i see many people with problems with RELOAD aplication.
    So my way to do it is:
    ➡️ Always use two towels or more.
    ➡️ spray one towel with reload, pass in the panel, let sit for a few seconds, and with other MF towel buff off the product.
    What i normally do is, have 2 bottles filled until the middle with product and add the rest with destilied water.
    And that's the final result, never do it at direct sun.😉

      Thanks for the info. I guess we haven’t run into problems with reload even in the sun. Great tips! Thanks for sharing.

    This sadly misses so many points and seems like just yet another click bate product sponsored sell out. The main point is how to best maintain a properly done ceramic coating, which is a big part of what Reload is supposed to be about, but you seem to want to pitch it as a must buy for any application when there are often much better and less expensive alternatives. Carpros make a few good products but they’re often not the best the choice.

      I'm sorry my friend...but what do you mean, This is just a simple video showing how to use it after a coating application....Click bait?...Sponsored sell out?... must buy for any application?...How? I use it exactly how I said I did. It works as a topper, as a sealant after Essence, and so on....
      I have other videos showing how we use it in maintenance vehicles also, as well as other toppers.

      My fellow detailers and trainers also share the same way of application and methods.
      Why go negative so quickly without asking the appropriate questions?
      Please watch all of our videos before making comments, that way if it seems like i didn't explain something to your liking in one video, I most likely cover it in the others.
