Hey Phil. Shout out to vt detailers! Winters are tough up here ! Now about trigger sprayers . I use them alot I discovered like 35 yrs ago that when I have anything acidic in them at the end of the day I pull like a dozen times with straight water from a cup . Really helps the longevity. Looking forward to the podcasts. Keep up the good work . Merry Christmas.
#detailglovebox #kcx I love that GloveBox often puts a different kind of product in there boxes like the fuel stabilizer that you may not know you needed! Thanks for the great video Phil!
Great video and thank you for the unboxing Phil! We included the fuel stabilizer for anyone who has lawn equipment, ATVs, or vehicles that get stored in the winter. We hope you like it all.
I do like CSL, both with EXO and without, and have used it a few times (I'm just an enthusiast and I do an occasional vehicle for friends/family/neighbors). Its a great coating, but for those of us up here in MN where we deal with heavy road salt it seems to struggle a bit on the lowers. This happens to all coatings, but CSL doesn't seem to bounce back like some others, especially after the first winter. When it comes to toppers, sealants, etc...as an enthusiast who likes the performance of a bare coating (and likes to see exactly how it is performing)...I don't use them. Once my coating starts to die and I want to limp it along until I can recoat, then I will top it. But for a detailer maintaining a customer vehicle every 6-12 months, I think it is an important step when you don't know how the customer is washing (or not washing) the vehicle.
The reflection in that paint is so nice!! Wow! The lives help us hang with our viewers better I think. Have a merry Christmas Mr Phil and Jess #kcx #detailglovebox
Love you guys - keep up the great videos...have learned SOOO much. Regarding the Dr Beasles, do you you that as your polish before you apply a coating or when?
Thanks! I have many videos on our usage of the NSP polishes from Dr. Beasley’s. It’s our go to prep polish for ceramic coatings. ua-cam.com/video/2O1J1mD7MiI/v-deo.html
On another note, the CSL is holding up strong. I wonder what happened to mine. It almost feels like they didn’t put CSL on it 😢. Either that or the water softener killed it. A ceramic coating step by step maintenance podcast would be 🔥
With the podcast I’d like to hear thoughts on products back in the days, how & why the technology went parabolic in the last few years. What sparked the interest to develop new products and technologies? When did detailing really pick up for the average person? You can see equity firms seeing the huge market for this. Like the one that purchased 3D, P&S and Hi-Tech. Do you remember Turtle Wax Liquid Clay in the early 2000’s? 😂 I’m gonna buy that vintage stuff on eBay just to collect.
How’s the GX doing? I have one myself. selfishly want to see more videos on it ❤ If I may ask, what is the perfect polisher/pad combination for the GX? Do I need 2 polishers? I’m thinking of ordering a 9mm DA, or a combination of a 15mm and a 3mm DA..
Hi! It’s doing great! Depending on what you want to do to the paint, I isually start with my 15mm polisher SPTA cordless and orange lake country pads, and a medium polish, any will do really. There is no specific combo that works across the board, you may have to try a few out to see which works on your paint. I would just stick with 15mm polishers, they are very versatile.
@ great! It’s winter by me now so I’m gathering my notes for a pre-Spring purchase. My coating is flat, and I plan on applying a new one soon. The GX has a few curves so it was breaking my mind thinking about buying two polisher units. Lake Country orange and black and a Medium and light Polish were my exact thoughts. Thank you!
Hey Phil! What are you guys running for a pressure washer? And what are your thoughts on flow (GPM)? Is 2 GPM really all that necessary or great to have? Would you say having 3 o 4 GPM would make washing easier, more efficient or enjoyable? Have a great day
Hi. This is our setup. ua-cam.com/video/SPI8GSQUYCw/v-deo.html It’s not a 1900psi 2.1gpm.At the gun it’s getting 1000psi which is perfect. You really don’t need anything more than that. At least not for detailing.
Ideas for podcast: I would like to nominate Mirror Finish Polishes. They are a small U.S.A. company located in the Central Valley of California. I’d like to see and hear their journey, products and contribution to the community. A business point of view, challenges with “keeping up” with products and developments/chemicals. We should support these small U.S. businesses thank you.
Maybe someone can come with a 3D printed hose holder to be attached to the IK sprayer to hold the hose mod? Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all. #detailglovebox #KCX
Seasons greetings to both of you, have a great one 🎄
Love the lives, learn so much in all videos. Detail enthusiast here with a dirty truck in the drive way 😂, greetings from Florida.
Awesome! Thanks for watching!

#kcx #detailglovebox I have always liked Koch Chemie products. The value with dilutions have always been great.

Super foam is still one of my favourite soaps to this day! #detailglovebox #kcx
I did the same conversion on my iK and I don’t know why they don’t have that as an option, I don’t have to pick up the sprayer at all.
I know! I love it!
Sorry missed the live , but your all your videos are awesome #kcx#detailglovebox.
On black cars do you use DI water the whole time?

Great video. I've always wanted to sign up for the glovebox subscription but never did. Seems like they have pretty cool stuff. #detailglovebox #kcx
Your favorite 5-8 year coating that doesn't require to be certified?
Hey bro. Well CSL is my favorite 5 year coating. As far as non accredited coatings I guess the DIY 8 year is my next.
Maybe someone can come with a 3D printed hose holder to be attached to the IK sprayer to hold the hose mod? Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all. #detailglovebox #KCX
