      well... maybe I do! But that's the thing: any excuse to move your position, it doesn't even have to be logical! I may have an emotional attachment to having a nice lunch, quality of life might be worth loads to me....

    First of all, thanks a lot for your videos and training, Chris, all of them are super useful!
    I have a question: in the second video you're using quite precise numbers without even calculating the actual amount.
    Shouldn't that also point out, that you're just imagining these numbers, instead of basing them on the data you have?

      how do you know I'm making them up? maybe I'm calculating them in my head? In fact the precision of the numbers implies they are real, surely?

      Chris Croft well, of course you can calculate these numbers in your head. Still for an average person this should take some time, I think for me it would take at least 5 seconds and would be much easier if I had some paper and could cross out some options.
      So, I guess my question can be simplified to:
      Don't you think It's better to show the other party what exactly you are going to cross out? Or even say that you need to think about options you will exclude?

      Denis Timin I’ll give you one out of two! Yes, it’s definitely okay to say that you want some time to think. And you can have options written down on a piece of paper that you don’t show them. The more preparing you do the better, I agree. But you must not show them your piece of paper. You must not show them your thought processes. The more information you give them the more power you are giving away.
