I'm watching this from the United States and I'm super proud to be a Nigerian with projects like this going on all over the country, not just this. Awesome project indeed. It's definitely a great leap forward. When, and not if, successfully completed, it will open up a whole new world hitherto unseen and unheard of, to massive industrial/ commercial transformation never before experienced in this part of the world, significantly raising Nigeria's development profile to a whole new level. The coastal states beneficially impacted by this transformation will attract massive development in due course. Loving it, bro!
Construction projects are the oldest kickback scemes of Governors and the ruling class. Tinubu is just pulling the same old scam on a massive scale. They signed multi-billion dollar contract with foreign firms, which has shipped out scarce funds. And citizens can't see through the scheme. The country is facing extreme lack of economic opportunities, which has caused lack of gainful employments, resulting in crimes, insecurity and chaos. And they are building road, instead of capital investment that will yield FOREIGN EXCHANGE REVENUE. Foreign exchange revenue is the only way to create real economic opportunities, and rescue Nigeria from extreme economic hardship. Instead, the leadership are building roads, flyo-overs, stadium, etc. Anambra State governor recently built a 5-star hotel. LOL!
great content. the project is moving smoothly. i'm very impressed. What I see around this place in the next couple of years is a great real estate transformation and businesses along this corridor. Thanks for the effort to bring this to our view. Appreciate
Is anybody thinking about how developed the areas around this road will be all the way from Lagos to Calabar or is it just me? From empty coastal settlements to thriving industrial areas with nice water front properties (of course private owned) and then how the population will be evenly distributed along the coastal states especially when they know they can always reach Lagos and leave as soon as possible. I still believe that the insecurities along the inter state routes is as a result of low urbanization in the areas along the highways connecting the states. Most times what you see is just long stretch of tall trees and bushes that can harbour dangerous people and animals.
Well done Sir, viewing from the city of Latina, Lazio Italy. Is the road been coated with bitumen? Asking cuz of the wet dark stuff i see littered on the road. What about other parts (from Landmark to Epe axis) aside Km 0-2 what progress has been made there as well. Thanks
