I just came back fro canada and i loved their architecture and color combination. Naija can learn a thing or two, no be just white, white, white that they dont repaint every few years to keep the buildings clean and new.
The streets are dirty. No street sweepers.. it is a shame

Despite all the huge money poured into Lagos by European colonizers and later with Nigeria's petro dollars, Lagos still remains like a shanty city. Imagine if Lagos was not once Nigeria's capital. It would have been worse than Abeokuta
Yet people would rather live in this shanty. 🙄

The side walks are dirty and unkempt. Nigeria still hasnt learnt buildings alone doesnt make a city stand out. Wide side walks, benches, trees and flowers, well marked roads, etc. We still have a long way to go. Sadly other African countries have left us behind.

Well done my brother. Ikoyi, my hood my pride, Ikoyi shaped me from childhood to adulthood. I will forever hold it dear to my heart, and the sweet memories 🎉💚🤍🍷 Ikoyi G.R.A was the most expensive real estate in Africa in the 1930's, under colonial rule, do your research. Kingsway Mall with bookshops and Libraries, Ikoyi club 1938, Kingsway road, Ikoyi park now Park view estate and Banana island, Queens drive, the Lagoon water front, Ikoyi crescent etc. During the years of military regime, Ikoyi was abandoned and left undeveloped from were the colonial govt left it. The first time i ever experienced a new road construction or major development was when Bola Tinubu became Governor in 1999. He reconstructed and dualized the major roads Bourdillon, Gerard, Falomo all the way through Awolowo road with proper drainages and sidewalks. Later on Obasanjo/Atiku Govt sold most of the properties under the public privatization

Meanwhile, Nigeria is facing extreme lack of economic opportunities, resulting in lack of gainful employments, crimes, insecurity and chaos. And Tinubu is building road! Roads are vital infrastructure, but the only thing that can rescue Nigeria from present economic crisis are Export industries that will generate FOREIGN EXCHANGE revenue for the country. Instead of creating wealth for the country, they signed multi-million dollar road construction contract with foreign entities to ship out scarce funds. And Nigerians are celebrating, without realizing that road construction projects are the oldest fraudulent schemes the ruling class uses to ship our money abroad. Governors have been doing it for decades. Tinubu is doing it now on a more massive scale.

Tinubu goes abroad for medical treatment. Do you think they developed such Advanced Medicare with MUMU ideas like your own? The function of Government is to organize society, provide security, and ensure the well-being of the citizens. Thank you for showing that Tinubu's Government is useless to the point that people have to perform the role of Government. The national oil company, NNPC, has a revenue of over $60 billion. But it's not being used to create economic opportunities, because, according to you, people should leave Government alone. Nigeria is totally broke, and Tinubu is shipping out scarce funds by signing multi-million dollar construction contract. And MUMU llike can't see through the scheme. They have been emptying the treasury with this scheme for decades, instead of initiating EXPORT industries that will create job and raise the value of the lical currency.
Please tell all Hi-tech staffs to wear Personal Protective Equipment. This is labor laws of land.
