I go t 1979 HONDA CB750K - so Im going to watch your videos - I just in fact removed the original OEM exhaust system, and installed a Delkevic - you have an oil coolerr - cool - mine was the 10th anniversary model -
I am desperately looking for a rear grab bar. 1979 had CB750 models, the L, K and the F. The K models were probably the least popular when released. I am getting really excited about this bike. The original plan was to bring it back to like and move it on to someone else's house. But it might be a keeper.
I had one for tthe longest time considering I bought my bike in 1979 - If I come across it, will let you know - I have a luggage carrier attachment that I use -
I did a quick search part numbers are different for the 3 models but they look the same. I believe you could easier convert a K to an L. Which was 10th anniversary model model to look more like an early 750.
@@motorcyclerewind you inspired me to try painting the frame on one of my projects. I bought a small can and foam brush and figured I’d give it a shot. Sanded down an old kz400 frame with a scotch bright wheel on my cordless drill, then cleaned it up and then brushed on the paint. What a difference for relatively little effort. It’s also very zen and the results are immediate. Thanks for passing that on.

That would be awesome!!! I have been unable to find one. Fingers crossed!
Question can the 1979 HONDA CB750 K REAR COWL be removed and replaced with older or newer non cowl older seat fenders?

Great stuff. Would you mind sharing a link for that polishing wheel you use with the drill please?
Here you go! amzn.to/3Bp12OZ
@@motorcyclerewind Thanks. The bike's looking like a million bucks already. Looking forward to seeing how it ends up.
@@stockton350 I am really excited about the process. I just started paining the side covers and rear cowl. That video coming soon!!!
