Roger is my all time favorite and why I became a Cowboys fan, but I definitely appreciated and like Danny, my 3rd fav behind aforementioned and Dorsett.
@@topJimmyP1984 I never saw Staubach actually play live. 1980 was my first season watching. I remember watching us losing to Philly in the freezing cold 20-7 in the NFCCG. I cried when we lost.
Thanks for some great memories. My favorite player of all time. It struck how many of these touchdowns were thrown on the run. Fantastic athleticism. The defense was getting long in the tooth when he took over.
He could hum it. What an arm. What touch. He threw a constant beautiful spiral. Best this side of Warren Moon Superior ball placement. Great zip. Sweet feet in the pocket. I forgot how good he actually was and how much I admired and appreciated his play. Props and respect to his NFL career. Thanks for the play and dedication Danny!
He knew how to lead his receivers with the ball. Cowboys could go long with him. Great NFL QB. Cowboys did not miss a beat when he took over for Roger.
I was born in 1982 so I was spoiled by the run the 90's Cowboys had. I just wasn't developed enough to remember anything before hearing the buzz about the Heshel Walker trade, Cowboys went from trash to team of the 90's. I remember I got a book from my dad that talked about the team records and Danny White came up a lot. Nice to go on UA-cam and see how Danny White, Tony Dorsett, Roger Stauback, Ed Too Tall Jones played. IMO Larry Allen was the greatest player in Dallas Cowboys history. Maybe it's millennial bias lol
Always a challenge to replace a legend, which White was forced to do. He did have a great career but Dallas never got over the hump with White as the starter. Romo went through it too, living in the shadow of Aikman.
@@stattiger4888true....but there was way more pressure on white than romo....because white was the backup for 4 years until staubach retired....plus he IMMEDIATELY followed Roger...where there was a carousel of qbs between aikman and Romo....plus...white still had a championship caliber team when he took over....and Romo never had the kind of roster that White had....
This has got to be the best highlight video of #11 Danny White ever made. My favorite QB as a kid on my favorite team. Awesome effort, time, passion put into this video!! War Eagle!! Go Cowboys!
Whatta fine athlete, passer he was. I think he was a better passer than Troy Aikman. If only he played just a decade later. But for CowboyNation we'll never forget what he brought to this Franchise!!
Danny white was a outstanding qb. Don meriedith is in cowboys rof. Danny white should be to. As a cowboys fan. THANK YOU DANNY WHITE and all the cowboy players especially those who unsung heroes never got the credit they deserve. God bless all of you. Fred drury
He never quite got over the hump, but he led to much of Dallas's success. Someone mentioned his grasp of key reading and plays and defenses, but as an arena football coach, he won several championships including back to back wins. Like Landry, he was happy for himself but mostly for his players.
Excellent production! Love the memories and many songs I’ve not heard in many years!! This is a work of art indeed! I love Sam Spence! So understated and under appreciated. Thank you for spending all the time to produce this.
Danny white was the guy that let everyone across the NFL know the cowboys are coming for you like the way they smoked tampa bay in playoffs 38-0 statement games like in 81
My three favorite players of all time remain: Roger Staubach, Danny White, and Tony Dorsett. Danny White NEVER got the accolades he deserved. That loss to SF in the NFC Championship Game broke my heart. Still angers me today. I'm not even sure that was a fumble. If the Tuck Rule could save Brady, well...
I bought a customized Authentic Danny White . Everybody thinks it’s Parson’s or Beasley’s . When they see the D White on the back they’re like ahh you’re serious about it . YEP
High we had had him lately look out legendary vastly underrated Dan the Man great arm one of my favorite quarterbacks reminds me of Dan Fouts great touch great deep passer
ABSOLUTELY!!!! Danny White only lost 1 Playoff game at home, Dak has lost 3 home playoff games already, and is 2-5 overall. Danny was 6-5, 5 wins as a starter!!
I looked at every throw in that highlight film. Saw him do it a time or two. Barely noticeable. He would be holding with one hand while running. Bring it up for a two hand grip...then release. He threw a beautiful ball. A very good QB for several years...if nor great. I think you are nitpicking...don't dig that. He was a pro qb for a top team in the NFL. He was no slouch...threw many long and beautiful td's. Made it easy on his receivers.
My favorite cowboys quarterback of all time.
He was my original favorite player as a kid. Definitely underrated and never talked about. How I loved that shotgun passing formation!

Roger Staubach remains my favorite Cowboy but Danny was an excellent replacement.
I have a cool Danny white story.
Fantastic Quarterback

Underrated for sure he was a heck of a QB.
Tony Hill was so damn good
Danny operated that Cowboys offense with smoothness and efficiency
He deserved to play in a Super Bowl if not 2. A good QB
How that man us not in the ring of honor mystifies me legendary quarterback
Great Cowboys memories!!!!

Thanks I forgot what a great arm he had underrated quarterback great punter too miss him if we had had him this year look out

Thanks for the kind words.
I've never been a Cowboys' fan, but I definitely agree! A very honorable collage of Danny White's great career. He really needs to see this!
Danny White was a great QB I watched all the cowboys game I am a cowboy fan 4 life 🙏
Awesome! Thanks.
He was a great QB, very underrated!
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for visiting.

Really well done video great job....Danny White a solid supremely underrated & under appreciated qb & one of my all time favorite cowboys & qb.

Kirk,
Sam Spence screams NFL. Thank you for the comments.
You did a very good job with this video!
He was a noteworthy punter.
Danny white was the guy that let everyone across the NFL know the cowboys are coming for you like the way they smoked tampa bay in playoffs 38-0 statement games like in 81
Ron Springs really was an awesome fullback.
Also the most disrespected player in Cowboys History....I hope my books can change that

White was good.
Too bad he could not get Dallas to a super bowl win.
3 straight nfc championships is impressive.
High we had had him lately look out legendary vastly underrated Dan the Man great arm one of my favorite quarterbacks reminds me of Dan Fouts great touch great deep passer
Dak wishes he this good!
Dak don't know who he is
@@MGAF688Dak nowhere near that level
ABSOLUTELY!!!! Danny White only lost 1 Playoff game at home, Dak has lost 3 home playoff games already, and is 2-5 overall. Danny was 6-5, 5 wins as a starter!!
Not bad for a punter lol
Always wasted movement by "clapping" the ball before EVERY pass
I have never heard this mentioned ever...wasted comment...and not accurate.
@@PaulBoyce-bh7ul not about hearing... open your eyes and look at every one of his throws

Very meaningless comment!!! Many HOF QBs did the same thing, what is your point???
Listen up you Cowboys hater, that so-called wasted movement led to very accurate passing.
