@@Simon_Mouse thanks Simon 😁 beautiful up there isn't it 👌🏻 haha, glad I had the gear to repair it, would have been gutted if not 😂 cheers for watching mate 😀🙌🏻👍🏻
Great video! I was up in Scotland this August for a 3 day packrafting trip. I didn't get the best weather and the midges were horrendous 😅, but there is something so magical about this region that I still had a fantastic time. Really enjoyed your video. makes me wish I would have brought my rod on my trip! ATB
Thanks mate! Haha the midge can be terrible can't they. This was in June and thankfully there wasn't any. So many ticks tho. Definitely an area I'll be back too, I'll check your video out too! Cheers for watching, Matt 😁👍🏻🙌🏻
A very picturesque part of the world Matt makes following you along it quite pleasurable. Nice fishing could almost taste it with you. Thanks for sharing mate. Bushyboy Oz.
Hi Matt & Essay..loved every minute of your video.. brought back fond memories of the trips I've done in Scotland along with some of the other guys..Ginge,John,our Marc etc..looking forward to getting back up there at some point next year.. great video Matt..👍👍
Brilliant video Matt, really enjoyed this. Some crackin camp spots you found and the scenery is tremendous.Your filming is quality mate, not easy to do when carrying all the gear.Wish I had your talent on planning routes and recognising suitable locations to pitch 😊.Good fishing also mate.Good to see you and essay back up north.all the best Matt.
@@ianbrown4308 thanks Ian! Yeah absolutely unreal place to spend a few days exploring 👌🏻 really appreciate that mate, it's difficult to capture the shots sometimes but think the video came out well 😁 always a good trip when I'm with Eze, he's a top bloke 🙌🏻 thanks for watching 👍🏻👍🏻
I miss living in Scotland, beautiful! Some amazing views. Ive been to the western Isles but didn't really visit the area you are in, looks amazing and looks like you got some good weather! The deflating boat in the middle of the loch was a bit of a heart-stopper, glad you played it safe!
Yes I can see why! You did ok with the weather too! Never been that far up in Scotland! Think I need to make a bit more effort! Looking forward to your return trip ! 👍🏻
Me and the wife are in the cairngorm area this week coming! Can’t wait! But we’re not camping gone for static caravan this time near Aviemore! Hopefully photograph some mountain hares!
What a stunning area! From Cul Mor I looked down on Loch Sionascaig and thought it looked a great place to explore so I’m not surprised by the beauty you’ve captured in this video. A really enjoyable watch.
What an absolutely stunning place. How high was that big hill you climbed. That 3rd campsite was my favourite. It seemed far less exposed among the trees. Great video mate. Well done. 😃
Beautiful isn't it 👌🏻 it's 731m so not the highest but what a stunning place to hike up 😁 Yeah think that was mine too, nice and sheltered and some good fishing spots haha. Cheers mate 🙌🏻👍🏻

My favourite part of the world! You've captured the spectacular scenery so well in this video. I'd love to do that trip, but at 63 I'd need more than 4 days 😂!
Good Nz morning Matt. Another brilliant episode. Thanks. Um Google search tells me that Mt Sullivan is 731mt high. Or 2397ft.!! Down here, no hill gets the title of mountain, unless it's 2500 feet or higher. So Sullivan would just be that "hill" over there. It's gotta grow a bit yet. 😂 Imagine what the Nepalese would say.!! Hehe. Don't worry mate. I'm just messing with you. Seriously, thank you again, for sharing. Loving your channel. Take care and atb from down here.
Haha yeah it's not the tallest, but definitely one of the steepest that's for sure 😂 would love to visit NZ one day 👌🏻 thanks mate, glad you're enjoying the videos 🙌🏻 really appreciate it 👍🏻
@@ADVENTUREISMADE Actually on hindsight, I seem to remember reading something, from "The Royal Geographical Society," I think it was...That to identify a hill as a "mountain" the height had to be of a set height, and recognized as such, internationally, for future cartographers. And I believe it was set at 2500 feet. In my youth, I worked on a sheep farm, where the highest point was 2500 feet. No name. Just another hill.!! Thanks again for sharing.
