Looks like you have everything you should need. Make sure sure you have a tick removal tool in your first aid kit. And I would recommend Sabre fronteirsmans bear spray. Hope you have a great trip and stay safe.

Great video, and you’ll have a blast. I’d be more cautious of the moose than bear. Practice the camp triangle, sleep, cook/eat, and food storage. A little floatation device on the net is a good idea, in case you drop it, it won’t sink on you. 😉
That fjallraven backpack looks amazing have you got a full review video of it? I like the look of the rod too what the reel you have to go with it? I am thinking about changing out my fly outfit for a back up in windy conditions.

Couple of suggestions, Tie your Gerber knife to your vest then it can't easily come adrift, try to get everything inside your back so that when loaded into cargo can't be pulled off or vanish maybe put your tripod inside the barrel for flight out/back. Enjoy the trip look forward to the film on return.
Cheers Will, so the knife has a pretty strong clip on it, but also I like it free incase I need it quickly but appreciate the suggestion 😁 also my other two bags have all been packed into one big case for the flight to and from Canada, this set up is just for when I'm there 😃👍🏻

Do you think the Garmin In reach is an essential bit of kit for UK hiking/wild camping, or an expensive extravagance with limited features and battery life? I've been reading mixed reviews..........
For me personally yes I do. I don't know what features you need yourself, but for me I wanted a device I could send and receive messages and also be able to shoot off an SOS if I was in any serious trouble and this does that. Also the battery life is around 50 hours but you can turn it off and on as you please to obviously extend that. Hope that helps 👍🏻

You can also have it track you if you want but I havent got that as part of the subscription plan but I know it's available if I ever do need it

Yeah so they are black bears so shouldn't have any problems, especially if we hang out food and make noise on the trails etc. I think we would need a firearm licence too which I don't think we could get. But thanks mate, appreciate it, atvb, Matt 👍🏻

Matt, firearms are banned from all provincial parks. The term "firearms" includes the usual suspects but also includes things like bows & crossbows, pellet guns, slingshots, paintball guns etc. The only critters you are allowed to kill are the fish you're going to eat. Oh, & you are allowed to defend yourself against any insects that try to carry you off to their lairs. Give the moose a little wider berth. They're LARGE, & FEARLESS, & more inclined to run over you than around you. Just treat all the critters with the respect that the wild things deserve & you'll be fine. I've watched your videos. You've got the chops. You'll have a ball for sure!
Be prepared for bears, wolves, mountain lions, coyotes and moose, consult with the locals on what to do and what not to do and what they recommend on protecting yourself when encountering any of those wild animals in the woods.
