You have been the only one to say that you can place the Phasers in any postion, everyone else says it needs to have the lettering pointed up. Even the WIS instructions say any position.
I have just ordered 4 new cam adjuster plates online, I have ordered the same m156 locking tool you use and will be doing the work myself. This video is very useful. Do you have any videos showing how to use the locking tool, this video doesn’t really give much detail sort of presumes you know how to use one in the first place. Any help would be very much appreciated as I’m not a mechanic. Cheers guys

Nice video... Unaware of any OEM rebuild plate kits for these adjusters unless you just purchase the entire new assembly. Assuming that you used the kit/plates from 63 Motorsports?
This is a great in depth guide that covers all the details. Thanks for making this. It is definitely what I will be referencing.
Love your work!
Straight to the point - excellent content 👏

Glad I’m doing something right!
I bought those tty bolts for the m113k. I dont know if i should even use them. I doubt the bolts even stretch much at all

Its pretty straight forward. I may be able to do a video, we have a M156 we're tearing into in the next couple weeks
How much would a shop charge to install new cams, new lifters, and to re-enforce the billet plates on the cam adjuster (only for labor)
Between 12-14 hours

We sure do. We are an authorized dealer for them. OEM only sells the assembly
I have to get this done on my 2012 S550 4Matic, how much is this job going to cost parts and labor time?
That is a different engine with quite a higher cost. Roughly 7-8,000
What is that tool you used to align & lock the gears/teeth on the cam phaser?
It is the factory M156 timing tool. You can find them on amazon and so forth
