When the top is down these are among the best-looking convertibles you will ever see.
Thanks for watching.
"Imperial Crown". Even the name says it is head and shoulders above either Cadillac or Lincoln, which it was. In 1973 (16 years old), my first car was a 1966 Buick Riviera. The Riviera was a real slick car. Owned it for two years without any issues what so ever. I did not know much about Chryslers back then. If I did, I would have bought this 1964 "Imperial Crown Coupe" in the hardtop version. Cheers!
Thanks for that.👍Thanks for watching.
I had a 4 door hardtop. That was the best vehicle ever built. I’ve owned plenty cars and the Imperial is the top of the line. Now I want the convertible version.
Thanks for watching.
I love Imperials, and this is one stunning car!
Thanks for watching.
Very impressive high quality and craftsmanship.
You're spot on Dave. They don't make em like this anymore. Thanks for watching.
I used to have a '63 LeBaron and I really wish I had it back. I miss that car.
Thanks for watching Rob.
IMPERIAL was the FINEST of the Big Three American Luxury Cars
High Quality, Through and Through !! Best RIDING too !! NO DIVE, SWAY, or bottoming out
Like LINCOLN or CADILLAC .
Yep. Thanks for watching William.

Beautiful! Love the 64 with the split front grill and push button transmission.

Magnificent!!!
Thanks for watching.
Along with Lincoln, a better build and design than GM.
Thanks for watching. 👍
I've had the early 60s Lincolns and Cadillacs, but never an Imperial although I wanted one badly.
Than you gotta get one.👍 Thanks for watching.
@@Mikesclassicautoworld Any idea of a good place to look.?? I actually prefer the 4 door version, but I'd probably take a coupe. I actually just barely missed the most beautiful one I've ever seen about 20 years ago. It was called a Dior Gold, some sort of a special edition, the car was yellow and the interior was a rich buttery cream and the emblems were gold. I've kicked myself for 20 years or being too slow to act upon that one.
@@watthaile2053 not really but you might find some if you look on ebay or just google it or google the Imperial club. I'm sure there are some for sale. Good luck.
@@Mikesclassicautoworld those are both great ideas. Thanks.
@@watthaile2053You're welcome. Good luck.
i have the same year and color but a hardtop.
Nice. You are the man Zipper. Thanks for watching.
Spectacular. Any guesses on how much it would take to pry out of the collector’s hands? I started with 259k, but I feel like I have undershot the mark.
Lol. I think he would let it go for that. Thanks for watching.
Beautiful car, thanks for the video! Too bad you can not hear the guy who knows everything about the car.
Thanks for watching.
I worked with a guy who got pinned up against a wall at a carwash by one of these. He said he remembered the big eagle hood ornament. This was in the mid-to-late 60s and he got six or seven thousand dollars as a settlement at the time. The driver thought he was tapping the brakes and instead hit the accelerator.
Wow. Thanks for watching.
We had Sunoco 260 in Ohio.
Thanks for watching.
EeeYao!
Memphis Dan LeLoLai
