- This is a very rare car, 1 of 554 made originally, with less than 50 left in the world.
The third owner has spent a year completing a full frame-on restoration.
The 413 CU engine puts out a rousing 345 horsepower which moves this body with ease.
The power retractable convertible top is electric and in great condition, with a white matching boot.
The red color is a factory color with white leather seats with red piping, true to the original design.
The amount of technically advanced features includes push button automatic transmission, power mirrors, frequency scanning radio with dash light, illuminated emergency light, lights in the rear seat area, locking glove box, day/night rear view mirror, tinted rounded windshield, and so much more.
Virgil made the fins a classic, creating a forward design with sleek features to improve aero-dynamics without compromising design.
The latest restoration included New Vintage air, new American Classic White Wall Radial tires, New exhaust, an upgraded heavy duty air conditioner, new brakes, new Chrysler Transistor ignition and much, much more.
Air blows cold, everything runs and is completely free of hassles.

An Incredibly Beauuuutiful Car!❤️
What a beautiful automobile! Great video, thank you for the upload!
Style, class, the epitome of 60s coool
😎👍🏻😉
One of the greatest of when American cars were, well, American cars....with no apologies. Look at the guality of design. The end of the 1957 to "62 Virgil Exxner era. Well never see greatness like this again. At the time these cars were world famous and proudly showed the huge difference between this country and the rest of the world. At the same time these cars were built like a tank. Several demolition derby organizations banned the imperials for having an unfair advantage due to their strength and crash survivability....we had one Imerial in our family with 120,000 miles on it and it ran perfect with only standard maintence.
Cindy:: Thank You, put perfectly!!! Detroit. Will never again build rolling artwork like this again. Instead we get soulless shite computerized crappolla
What a great car. Perfect to take your special lady out on the town.
In Germany 90% of the girls are Friday for future fans and HATE combustion cars :-(
@@Schlipperschlopper agreed, when they drive to the factory for shift work, dayshift/nightshift they prefer electric cars. But what about when driving to the country house hotel?
Beautiful car
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU...for NOT calling this car a Chrysler!!
It is a 1962 Chrysler Imperial.
I would like to drive it to my garage.
Worth every penny!!
Now, THATS an automobile!!!!
For a moment there, i thought the painted nails belonged to the guy talking
Cruising up the PCH with some classic 60s tune on the radio, top down, and a hot babe snuggled up next to me with a full moon and stars lighting up the night sky and the smell of the ocean, wind in our hair....... 😉
If it were me doing it and going to those lengths, I would have done my absolute best to replicate the original interior. They never had accent color piping or ribbed stitching. Nice car, but in my opinion the interior says shortcut.
Totally, man.
If 'ya ain't gonna do it RIGHT, then don't do it.
Why does it sound like a truck? Beautiful Imperial!
It sounds like an aquarium filter to me.
Much nicer looking than a 61 they got rid of those garish tailfins for 62
Opinions are like assholes.......
I love BOTH the '61 and '62 (and even the '3).
And there are some hardcore car guys who actually think that the '61 was the best-styled year for the Imperial.
One man's trash......well, you know.
any way we could talk? I have a 62 imperial and could use some advise i am local.
So, did it sell?.....
how match is it?

RED IS NOT a color for a Chrysler Imperial. Dodge Dart, Plymouth Valiant OK but not an Imperial
