I think there are two ways to interpret that's too expensive. Some people really mean it. And you can politely ask them if it's okay you can follow up with them when they can afford it. Some people say it because it's an indirect way of saying NO! Some sales people will offer you something more affordable. I don't like cold calling and don't door to door sales. My dad owned a business and he said the most effective for him was flyers and advertising on the radio. I reply to advertising over the radio, flyers, or TV ads. I think that's more effective for me them to get my attention. This is a great video and always so helpful. Thanks Sunny.
This is exactly what we needed to hear today Sunny! We are talking with someone who is truly our ideal client to be able to serve, someone who is excited to work with us! It is so much fun to talk with someone who is your ideal client, values your approach to things, etc. Feels like we’ve made a new friend! Love love love your approach to business Sunny! ❤
Good lesson learned with negotiating price. I stretched out payment plans and offered discounts (because I felt bad and wanted to help). Every time it worked out, they never completed the payment plan and/ or tried to milk me for extra help with things outside the scope or off-topic of the training. I no longer negotiate and it's a big game changer. BTW - I purchased UA-cam for Bosses and The Authority Accelerator... Excellent training and well worth the investment.
I really appreciate that you acknowledge that me people are in survival mode and honestly can’t afford the course right now. I get so frustrated by course sellers making me and others feel bad or like we’re not serious or worthy of their program because we can’t afford it
I just had a prospect said our service is expensive. I straight away respond with our proposition without even diagnosing the exact reason why they think its expensive. Gosh, I have to circle back to him and see how I can work out with him through you tips. Awesome video Sunny!
This was a really great video Sunny! LOVED IT -- SIMPLE but SO IMPACTFUL in the message! I've had all of these objections and issues. I like how you break this down into more of a relationship and conversation not always about converting them to a client. Also I couldn't agree more the people that pay seem to pay attention more and do the work! And I really like how you share the client stories and breakdown their zero to hero stories so it is more understandable about WHERE there ARE, WHO they serve, and WHAT they are ultimately seeking. Thanks for taking the time to make and share this!
So good as usual! Enrolling the wrong students is one to the biggest headaches you can give yourself. Seriously so glad to only work with women who are aligned. That’s all thanks to you
Oh yes! I have this ALL the time. Often it’s a “I’m a poor student, I don’t have any money”, which used to make me feel soooo guilty! But I don’t anymore. I just say, “Okay, no problem. Here are some links to my free content that you might find helpful … All the best with your studies”.
Self-identity. In my opinion, I’d say this is also a matter of self-identity. When you first start to charge high-ticket prices for your offer, it is hard because you don’t have any past evidence (sales) that demonstrates you your offer is worth what you are asking for. That is something I also like to talk about in my videos. After your first sale at a “high price,” you simply have that tangible evidence that someone else besides you, thinks that your offer is worth the price, and that evidence reinforces and increases your belief in yourself to keep charging or even increasing your original price. It is just a cycle, and personally, you should get through that price barrier as soon as possible if you actually think the value you provide exceeds the price you are asking for. Anyway, spot on as always, Sunny!
Amazing advice! Especially about boundries. I just read the book, "Boundries" by Henry Cloud and it is eye opening in all aspects of my life and business.
Working with you Sunny has been life changing! This type of “discovery” approach to helping potential leads take the leap of faith to get their big transformations has been so much easier on my soul than the typically “sales” approach. It’s really rooted in kindness and service. Thank you for all your generosity and the quality content you continue to provide! Good luck with your upcoming new addition 😉
Wish I had watched this before responding to an uncertain prospect 😅 either way, live and learn. Congratulations on your baby, Sunny! I was totally looking for that bump while watching the video lol.
Awesome video! I have nothing anywhere close to anything to offer, lol, but when I get there, I'm happy to have your library of videos to pull info and inspiration from.
Fave part: Make a plan with them. I will use this strategy when I face objections. But I have a twist on the objection. What if the potential client says, "Oh, I want it to include XYZ." In reality, the XYZ changes the price. Thoughts?
Absolutely! Energy vampires are those who try to negotiate and continue to try to get their way! Boundaries are so important! Abundance always comes when you believe in yourself and your product ❤❤ No, means not right now 😊 We want to work with our ideal clients. Believe believe believe!!
I got on a call last week with a lead who I really enjoyed chatting with but she basically wanted a free coaching call. She then asked if I would lower my price by 50% because she felt like “that would be a better price.” 🤦🏻♀️
Don't you think if one was isn't working, should you try a different strategy? Every company is different from each other on how they become successful even though they might be selling a similar product.
Hi Sunny! Do you think that your course will help me in launching the courses "inside my head" to the spanish community? Do you have success stories you could share? Thanks a whole lot ❤️
Hola Sunny from Mexico. I enjoy watching and listening to your videos..This one ESPECIALLY hit home.. i am American Chiropractor living and working in Guadalajara Mx. Ive been in Mx since 2007. I speak with New Patients all the time and the scenerio goes like this.. Someone comes in, many from Social Media, FB ads Google ads etc..They have a physical problem they do not want. Some have pain and generally in the lower back for YEARS.. i consult them Examen them, Diagnose them and treat them the same visit. I explain what is causing their pain and how we can help. I offer a very conservative treatment plan which addresses the CAUSE of their problem. virutally all of the patients leave feeling better and were if NOT for the ongoing cost of treatment they d all follow my recommendation.. Mexican people are very humble in general and does want to offend.. so they ll say " i need to think about it",, which to me means they really cant afford more care but dont say I cant afford it, although so do say that.. They may not judge the price of care but truly dont have the $. I ve taken courses over the years and i understand cost vs Value. I have always done what you recommended in this video, and that is to Talk about the Value of the service.. How it will improve their lives, how they can run again, lift the grandchild, enjoy the things that their back pain prevents them from doing. You hit the nail on the head.. If they get the value of the service and can see how it can help them enjoy the things they most love doing, then price is a non issue.... just wanted to share my experience with you. Thanks for the great videos... You may ask yourself why such an enlightened fan like me hasnt Gotten YOUR program... i dont see how my expertise as a Chiropractor in Mx and the USA for 44 years translates into a course or sellable program on line.. If you have an answer to that million dollar question, im all ears. BTW congrats on the pregnancy.. Dr Cary
Several lifetimes ago, when I declared myself an independent web designer (this was before everyone had even heard of the WWW, much less knew how to spell "HTML"), I was pitching my services to a smallish nonprofit. They knew of the web only second-hand (and because a big client kept complaining to them he couldn't find them "on that Internet thing") so we kept bumping against the dreaded, "Can you do it for less?" while cutting my own profits to the bone. I finally thought to ask where they had a problem with the pricing and it came out that they were worried I'd go over the quoted price. We'd already had a long discussion about the value my work represented for them so I responded, "If I see myself getting close to that number, I'll stop and we will go over things to adjust what I do... but I won't go over that price and you'll still have a functioning website." We were signing a contract literally 30 seconds later. I had fun and even produced things beyond our original discussions (and got paid for all of it). I kept that gig for over a year, until a "friend" I'd pointed them to for a particular task told their boss that "nobody likes" the kind of website I'd built and talked him into handing over my contract. (As angry as I was, he crashed & burned within 3 months so... karma.) My point is that YES, you DEFINITELY need to find out what's "too expensive" or "costs too much" so you can address any/all cost-specific issues. Y'all might find a really fun & profitable contract gets dropped in your lap that way!
Sunny even tho I'm not a course seller; i always appreciate your perspective on topics like this. I think if the course is from someone that have a history of genuinely helping people or it provides a big value for the price really helps. Someone told me recently that just cuz you may not have the money to pay for something doesn't mean it'll be the same for others. People will pay what you are offering if they like it enough. To be honest, the most I'll pay for a course right now in my current situation is $250 to $300. I feel that's a fair price considering most people income can handle something like that. Anyways, i wish you tons of success and happiness BOSS 🌟🫡

Navigating the perception of value versus cost is a familiar challenge for many businesses.

Why not give your price before you get to this point? I'm curious about this.
