Apparently, if you were to map out the beginning of planet earth to the present day as a timeline as long as your arm, the entirety of human history could be wiped out with a single slash of a knife. Thats how insignficantly short human history is when compared to natural history. And yet, that sliver of time, unseeable to the naked, cosmic eye, has created countless of different universes in the form of informative media. Every day we are able to find yet another glimpse into a different reality. Today, i watched 3 episodes of serial experiments: lain. Did i understand any of it? Nope. Do i appreciate its existence?
