@@pranavarora752 baat chad ki nahi hai. Baat ese stupid ideologies ki hai jo tum ese motivational quotes mein padhte ho jo real life mein applicable nahi hai. Few train their minds. Is their any systematic step by step logical procedure? Is their any set of books or a prescribed syllabus or a particular routine habit that will 100% ensure that you have trained your mind? What exactly do you mean by training your mind its very abstract and doesnt make much sense. Does solving tough integration questions count as training your mind? Does studying philosophy without understanding and just going through it for flaunting in front of others considered as training your mind? What exactly is it?

    Incredible video!!!
    Two takeaways:
    1) To just stay concern and totally focus on the things in your control and banish the thoughts which is finishing up your non renewable energy which you can not affect..
    2) In any circumstances of life when life is pulling you to it's bottom, stay calm and in sort of meditative nature to observe the situation closely and learn as much as you can from the particular situation that has popped up.....
    Like if agreed....

While the whole talk was great but still I cannot control my anger on your misinformation on brahmacharya and Eastern philosophy.
In the last portion of video when you talk about eastern philosophy you are saying eastern but defining only Buddhism and leaving out Vedic Darshan. You were also taking the same old route of comparing eastern philosophy (Vedic+ Buddhist) to hermits who leave their homes and wander the Himalayas which is not the majority condition.
and Bhai saaaab, Brahmacharya is not abstaining from sex, please understand. It means devoting yourself to brahman. If in that process sex is abandoned then no problem. But sex is not the center theme in brahmacharya bhai mere...
You are quite good in western philosophy so please speak on them but I think you are zero in Vedic Darshan so please don't misguide the gullible audience of yours.

People here, are the omes who can easily quote a ancient greek philosophers not indian ones. So making any comment here about indian philosophy is just shouting in a deaf crowd. Plus thanks for giving a new perspective of brahmacharya, i have a question isnt the brahmacharya one of the 4 stages of human life. i think the first is brahmacharya, the middle one is grihasta and the last one is shramana or varnaprasta (i am not good with names here)

Sorry to say this was a very cheery picked view about stoicism which is being promoted nowadays by greedy authors.
"Stoics never went deep in philosophy" I heavily disagree on this one. Stoicism and eastern philosophy talk about completely different domains and I personally feel they can be complementary to each other.
However, I do realise this is most likely a clip from your stream and is more focused on self help part rather than stoic philosophy itself.

The whole stoic philosophy says that this whole world is governed by perception, and you always have a choice to develop good or bad perception, so instead of complaining about fate, which is absolutely not in our control just try focus on what's within our reach, focus on what can we do instead of expecting. Well this philosophy can change your whole perspective about life and the same time you shouldn't expect that this philosophy will make you less prone to sadness and discomfort but instead it will allow you to embrace what's happening with you and find great learning perspectives out of it.

What i like about Indian philosophical thought that it goes even beyond what Stoicism saying. Upnishads (most profound treatise of Indian philosophy) say let alone external world even what you consider your experiences is not yours. Our ancestors in their writings considered the "Mann" is not you. Mind is also a thing like your body thats not you.
Dalai Lama once said world philosophies are Kids in front of Indian Philosophy. I see every philosopher on youtube, whoever it is (Indian or foreigner) haven't gone through basics of Indian philosophy. They can quote Romans so easily but they can't quote one charater from Vedas or Upnishads, which are ancient than these Romans etc.
